Wife, stepson charged in slaying of Missouri KKK leader

 The wife and stepson of a Ku Klux Klan leader who was found fatally shot next to a river in eastern Missouri have been charged with murder, reports CBS affiliate KMOV.

Malissa Ancona, 44, and her son, Paul Edward Jinkerson Jr., 24, have each been charged with abandonment of a corpse, first-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence, reports the station.

A family that was fishing found the body of 51-year-old Frank Ancona on Saturday, along the Big River near the tiny town of Belgrade, about 80 miles southwest of St. Louis. An autopsy conducted Sunday revealed he died of a gunshot to the head.

According to a probable cause statement obtained by KMOV, Ancona was shot and killed while inside his bedroom, allegedly by Jinkerson Jr. After the shooting, Ancona’s body was placed in Jinkerson’s vehicle and dumped in Belgrade.

The Park Hills Daily Journal said investigators placed yellow police tape around Ancona’s home in Leadwood Saturday. His safe had been broken into and the contents removed. Several of Ancona’s guns were missing, police told the Daily Journal.

According to police, when they searched Ancona’s home, they found “extensive blood evidence” in the master bedroom, KMOV reports.

Malissa Ancona allegedly told police her son, Jinkerson Jr., killed Ancona while he was asleep. She also allegedly said she didn’t file a police report, and attempted to destroy and hide evidence, the station reports.

Not what she meant, but … “Make this world a better place…”

The US Court systems, especially at the state level and below have gotten pretty miserable. The system is so imbalanced and corrupted as to be contemptible. So much so, when something goes right justice wise…

NY court erupts in cheers as charges dropped against man who beat his wife’s rapist to death

Wednesday, a court in Bronx, New York dropped charges against a man who killed an intruder who was trying to sexually assault his wife.

WABC reported Wednesday morning that the courtroom erupted in cheers when Judge Marc Whiten announced that he will accept a motion to dismiss manslaughter charges against 61-year-old cab driver Mamadou Diallo.

In May, police records say, just after Diallo left his apartment in the Bronx for work, a career criminal named Earl Nash went knocking from door-to-door in the building asking for water. Nash — whose police record showed more than 20 arrests for acts of theft and violence — reportedly tried to entice a little girl into the stairwell, but she ran away.

When he knocked on the Diallos’ apartment door, however, the cab driver’s 51-year-old wife — who has there at home with her sister — opened it a crack, which was all Nash needed to kick in the door and attack the women.

Nash smashed a chair down on Diallo’s wife’s head. When she crumpled to the floor, Nash began to rip her clothes off and tried to rape her.

With her sister’s help, the woman fought free and was able to call Diallo, who raced home in his cab and strode into the building brandishing a tire iron. He stepped off the sixth floor elevator, caught sight of Nash and attacked him, beating him in the head and body.

First responders arrived at the scene and transported an unconscious Nash to Lincoln Hospital, where he died.

A coroner’s report determined that Nash’s death was a homicide and prosecutors lodged manslaughter charges against Diallo.

He was released from custody in June and Diallo’s defense team submitted a motion to dismiss the charges, which Judge Whiten accepted.

Diallo told the New York Daily News after his release, “I don’t want to be a hero” for what he’d done. He said he only resorted to violence because his wife was in danger.

“Nobody’s happy when you fight with somebody and die,” said Diallo. “Nobody likes that. (But) you don’t mess with a man’s family, a man’s wife. Your family is your family.”

Laura Bush, Hillary Clinton, Barbara Bush, Nancy Reagan have all pretty much followed in the footsteps of Lady Bird Johnson, with programs to improve education, and expand parks. In the case of Hillary, Barbara, Michelle, and Nancy they also to an active role in advising their Presidential husbands.

Like their husband’s politics or not, each of these women gained respect around the world.

I mean, damn! I will whip out my cell phone and take a pic of my significant other person – at the winery sipping a glass of wine, or on a day out on the water…With their clothes on!

Being in the high-tech business I know damn well that anything you take on that phone is public property. That phone is connected to the world, and anything on it can be taken off of it from 10,000 miles away by a curious hacker. Even worse, some guy on the down low has got to know that at some point their significant other, or kids might just get curious…

Indiana GOP’s House Leader resigns after texting sexually explicit video of himself cheating on wife to everyone on his “Contacts” list

The controversial House Majority Leader in Indiana — he cosponsored the state’s “religious freedom” law — resigned suddenly on Tuesday after a sexually compromising video was sent to all of the people on his “Contacts” list, the Advocate’s Bil Browning reports.

 After news of the mass-texting began to circulate, Representative Jud McMillin (R) claimed that his “phone was stolen in Canada and out of my control for about 24 hours. I have just been able to reactivate it under my control. Please disregard any messages you received recently. I am truly sorry for anything offensive you may have received.”

But his “Canadian girlfriend stole my phone” defense apparently didn’t convince many of his “Contacts” — or at least, not the ones who mattered — and so Tuesday night he released a statement in which he said that the “time is right for me to pass the torch and spend more time with my family.”

During his five years in the legislature, McMillin has crusaded to “protect the integrity of the institution of marriage,” but the Advocate reported that the woman on the video he texted was not, in fact, his wife. According to his campaign website, he claimed that “the family has always been the foundation of our strength of community” and that “[i]n these times of turmoil the rest of the country could learn something from our example.”

It’s unclear what the rest of the country could learn from his example at this time, other than — perhaps — opposing LGBTQ rights across the board could have karmic implications for conservative Republicans with a proclivity for taking videos of themselves cheating on their wives.

A Hyattsville man accused of posing as his ex-wife online and posting ads soliciting sex from strangers was sentenced Thursday to 85 years in prison.

Michael A. Johnson II created a Craigslist ad with abhorrent titles advertising sex from his ex-wife, according to court papers. The ads attracted about 50 men to the woman’s house, including some who tried to break in, the records said.

“It’s hard to imagine doing this to someone you once loved,” Prince George’s County Circuit Judge Maureen M. Lamasney said in court.

The case is among several nationwide in which people have been accused of stealing their victim’s online persona and postingInternet ads offering sex.

The woman told The Washington Post in a recent interview that she resorted to buying a shotgun and staying up all night pointing it at the door. She said she found several fake profiles in her name on sites including Facebook and the pornography aggregator XTube. One of the ads offered up her three children for sex and included their photos.

“This wasn’t just a case of him sending e-mails,” the woman said in court. “He changed my life and my children’s lives forever.”

“We felt like refugees in our own home, no one should have to live like that,” added the woman, who asked not to be identified for fear of continued harassment.

The woman obtained a restraining order against her ex-husband after he assaulted her in 2011, wrapping his hands around her neck, court papers say. After that incident, the cyber-terror began in earnest.

Johnson was convicted in June of more than 70 counts, including stalking, reckless endangerment and violations of a protective order.

London 2012: Kim Collins axed from 100m by St Kitts for meeting wife

Lane four stood empty during the final heat of the men’s 100m in the Olympic Stadium on Saturday, after the former world champion Kim Collins was dropped by St Kitts and Nevis for spending the night in a hotel with his wife.

A furious Collins announced via Twitter that he would not be competing for his country again, claiming that his appearance at the Pan American Games in Mexico last year would be his last. “For those who saw me run in Mexico. That’s the last time I represent my country,” he said.

A spokesman for his home Olympic committee said Collins, who was competing at his fifth Olympic Games, would not participate in the 100m as a disciplinary measure after he flouted team rules by leaving the athletes’ village without permission.

The spokesman said Collins had not been in the camp for “the last couple of days” and is believed to have been staying with his wife in a hotel.

Earlier Collins had posted a message on Twitter, reading: “My fans. I won’t lie. Won’t be running later tonight.” Another message read: “Even men in prison get their wives to visit.”

The 2003 world champion, who is 36, carried his country’s flag at the Olympic opening ceremony just over a week ago. Collins finished seventh in the 2000 Olympic 100m final and sixth in Athens in 2004. He won bronze in the 100m at last year’s world championships in Daegu,South Korea, but with a season’s best time of 10.05sec would have found it difficult to earn a place in Sunday’s final.

Collins remains as an entrant in the 200m and 4x100m but team officials said they were unable to confirm whether he would compete.

Collins is the second of an original seven-athlete Olympics team from St Kitts and Nevis to be disciplined.

The sprinter Tameka Williams, the only woman on the team, was sent home last weekend for a potential drug violation despite not testing positive for a banned drug.

The St Kitts and Nevis Olympic Committee said Williams had acknowledged using a substance which was “clearly outside the medical code”.

Authorities say the wife of Trayvon Martin’s shooter is being accused of lying to a judge about their finances during his bond hearing and faces one count of perjury.

An order issued Tuesday by assistant state attorney John Guy charged Shellie Zimmerman for knowingly making false statements during the April hearing. George Zimmerman has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in the shooting. He was granted $150,000 bond at that hearing and released.

The judge revoked that bond earlier this month after state attorneys argued that both Zimmerman and his wife had lied to the judge about their finances, especially about money raised from a website.

George Zimmerman is back in jail.

Upset wife threatens to blow up planes

LEE COUNTY, FL –

The Lee County Port Authority has released a recording of a phone call between the LCPA communications center and a woman who is accused of threatening to blow up planes because she was upset her husband was working overnight.

Port Authority Police allege Soraya Billinge threatened to blow up planes because she was unhappy with her husband’s work schedule.

Billinge was arrested and charged with making a bomb threat.

Here is a transcript of the call:

Operator: Airport Communications Sabine how may I help you?
Caller: Yes, actually my husband is in the building, he’s British and he was told to work there from like 9 o’clock to 2 o’clock in the morning and I don’t want him working over there and I can’t get in contact with people over there at the Delta Airline area.
Operator: What exactly do you want me to do, ma’am?
Caller: I want them to let go of my husband.
Operator: Okay, who is ‘them’?
Caller: Who?  Delta Airlines.
Operator: You need to get in touch with them…
Caller: That is Delta Airlines at the airport.
Operator: Okay, you’re not speaking to Delta Airlines, ma’am you’re speaking to Lee County Port Authority Communications Center.  If you have a question in regards to Delta Airlines, you need to call them.
Caller: I called them, and, what is their number, though?  Cause, I thought, you know, I’ll just get (unintelligible) to deport my husband if this is just a trick, you know.
Operator: Ma’am, you can’t go through the (unintelligible), there is nothing I can do for you at this point.
Caller: Okay, but I don’t want my husband working at the airport.
Operator: You need to discuss that with him, not with me.
Caller: Okay, I’ll (unintelligible) blow up a plane, then.
Operator: Okay, okay.
Caller: I’ll blow it because ten planes..
