Wow! Some folks have had enough!

USA Today’s Editorial Board unloads on the Chumph.

A president who’d all but call a senator a whore is unfit to clean toilets in Obama’s presidential library or to shine George W. Bush’s shoes

And the chickenshit Democrats are too cowardly to stand up….Again.

Will Trump’s lows ever hit rock bottom?

A president who’d all but call a senator a whore is unfit to clean toilets in Obama’s presidential library or to shine George W. Bush’s shoes: Our view

With his latest tweet, clearly implying that a United States senator would trade sexual favors for campaign cash, President Trump has shown he is not fit for office. Rock bottom is no impediment for a president who can always find room for a new low.

Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office “begging” for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump. Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!

White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Tuesday dismissed the president’s smear as a misunderstanding because he used similar language about men. Of course, words used about men and women are different. When candidate Trump said a journalist was bleeding from her “wherever,” he didn’t mean her nose.

And as is the case with all of Trump’s digital provocations, the president’s words were deliberate. He pours the gasoline of sexist language and lights the match gleefully knowing how it will burst into flame in a country reeling from the #MeToo moment.

A president who would all but call Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand a whore is not fit to clean the toilets in the Barack Obama Presidential Library or to shine the shoes of George W. Bush.

This isn’t about the policy differences we have with all presidents or our disappointment in some of their decisions. Obama and Bush both failed in many ways. They broke promises and told untruths, but the basic decency of each man was never in doubt.

Donald Trump, the man, on the other hand, is uniquely awful. His sickening behavior is corrosive to the enterprise of a shared governance based on common values and the consent of the governed.

It should surprise no one how low he went with Gillibrand. When accused during the campaign of sexually harassing or molesting women in the past, Trump’s response was to belittle the looks of his accusers. Last October, Trump suggested that he never would have groped Jessica Leeds on an airplane decades ago: “Believe me, she would not be my first choice, that I can tell you.” Trump mocked another accuser, former People reporter Natasha Stoynoff, “Check out her Facebook, you’ll understand.”  Other celebrities and politicians have denied accusations, but none has stooped as low as suggesting that their accusers weren’t attractive enough to be honored with their gropes.

If recent history is any guide, the unique awfulness of the Trump era in U.S. politics is only going to get worse. Trump’s utter lack of morality, ethics and simple humanity has been underscored during his 11 months in office. Let us count the ways:

  • He is enthusiastically supporting Alabama’s Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore, who has been accused of pursuing — and in one case molesting and in another assaulting — teenagers as young as 14 when Moore was a county prosecutor in his 30s. On Tuesday, Trump summed up his willingness to support a man accused of criminal conduct: “Roy Moore will always vote with us.”
  • Trump apparently is going for some sort of record for lying while in office. As of mid-November, he had made 1,628 misleading or false statements in 298 days in office. That’s 5.5 false claims per day, according to a count kept by The Washington Post’s fact-checkers.
  • Trump takes advantage of any occasion — even Monday’s failed terrorist attack in New York — to stir racial, religious or ethnic strife. Congress “must end chain migration,” he said Monday, because the terror suspect “entered our country through extended-family chain migration, which is incompatible with national security.” So because one man — 27-year-old Akayed Ullah, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S. who came from Bangladesh on a family immigrant visa in 2011 —  is accused of attacking America, all immigrants brought to this country by family are suspect? Trump might have some credibility if his criticism of immigrants was solely about terrorists. It isn’t.  It makes no difference to him if an immigrant is a terrorist or a federal judge. He once smeared an Indiana-born judge whose parents emigrated from Mexico. It’s all the same to this president.
  • A man who clearly wants to put his stamp on the government, Trump hasn’t even done his job when it comes to filling key government positions that require Senate confirmation. As of last week, Trump had failed to nominate anyone for 60% of 1,200 key positions he can fill to keep the government running smoothly.
  • Trump has shown contempt for ethical strictures that have bound every president in recent memory.  He has refused to release his tax returns, with the absurd excuse that it’s because he is under audit.  He has refused to put his multibillion dollar business interests in a blind trust and peddles the fiction that putting them in the hands of his sons does the same thing.

Not to mention calling white supremacists “very fine people,” pardoning a lawless sheriff, firing a respected FBI director, and pushing the Justice Department to investigate his political foes.

It is a shock that only six Democratic senators are calling for our unstable president to resign.

The nation doesn’t seek nor expect perfect presidents, and some have certainly been deeply flawed. But a president who shows such disrespect for the truth, for ethics, for the basic duties of the job and for decency toward others fails at the very essence of what has always made America great.

Chumph’s Judical Nominee Busted

In a blatant attempt at Nepotism/cronyism, the Chumph nominated a guy with only 3 years of law experience, and no judicial experience to the Federal Bench in Alabama…

It turns out that the nomination wasn’t only political payback but outright nepotism.

Yet another unqualified POS from the Chumph.

This is the reason the Chumph not only has to come down – but he has to come down in a way that invalidates every nomination and decision he has made, Nailing him for the collusion with the Russians is the best way to do that in that it would invalidate his election.

Trump judicial nominee busted after failing to disclose marriage to White House lawyer and Mueller witness

Brett J. Talley was nominated by President Donald Trump to serve in a federal judgeship in Alabama, despite never having tried a case in his life. Now it’s being revealed that the appointment might be another example of the president’s failure to “drain the swamp.”

According to the New York Times, Talley is married to Ann Donaldson, the chief of staff to the White House counsel, Donald F. McGahn. Talley also never disclosed it on documents available to members of Congress who are weighing confirmation.

Talley was required to answer whether any family members or others would be “likely to present potential conflicts of interest.” He didn’t think to mention his spouse. He also didn’t mention her during his frequent contact with the White House lawyers during his nomination process.

The American Bar Association has already labeled Talley “not qualified” in a rare denouncing of the 2007 Harvard grad’s candidacy.

“Mr. Talley served as deputy solicitor general for the state of Alabama, currently serves in the Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Policy and was recommended by Alabama’s U.S. senators,” said Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the White House press secretary. “He is more than qualified to serve in the federal judiciary.”

The Times notes that McGahn has been influential in the nomination of young conservatives to fill judicial appointments. Still, a White House official said Donaldson had nothing to do with the process of Talley’s nomination by the White House.

It was revealed recently Donaldson was a witness for special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into whether Trump obstructed justice in the firing of former FBI director James Comey. She reportedly kept detailed notes about her conversations with McGhan during the time the decision was made to fire Comey, according to two sources briefed on the matter.

Talley was passed out of the Judicial Committee on a party-line vote and is expected to come up for a full vote in the U.S. Senate this week.

BUSTED: Trump Treasury pick took 4-week course on Dartmouth campus and called it a degree

Another of President Donald Trump’s nominees has been caught fudging their academic and professional bonafides, according to The Hill.

Joseph Otting — Trump’s nominee for the U.S. Treasury’s Office of the Comptroller of the Currency — reportedly lied when he said on his resume that he holds a degree from the “School of Credit and Financial Management at Dartmouth College.”

Dartmouth — an Ivy League university that was founded in Hanover, New Hampshire in 1769 — has never had a school of credit and financial management, nor does any such college operate out of any Dartmouth facility.

“Joseph Otting is not a Dartmouth graduate,” said university spokeswoman Diana Lawrence to New England Cable News on Wednesday. “Dartmouth does not have a school of credit and financial management.”

The only program bearing the name “School of Credit and Financial Management” associated with Dartmouth was a four-week certificate program spread over two years that was provided by National Association of Credit Management, a Maryland-based nonprofit that provides credit and financial professionals with continuing education opportunities. For a short time, the course was offered on the Dartmouth College campus.

Otting has a bachelor’s degree and The Hill reported that if nominated, he will be the first U.S. comptroller in decades not to hold an advanced degree.

The White House confirmed Otting’s “error” on Friday, saying that “Bloomberg’s characterization of Mr. Otting’s credentials is correct.”

Bloomberg News said Friday, “Records from the program, which is run for two weeks each year by the National Association of Credit Management, confirm that Otting graduated in 1992 when he was a mid-level manager at Union Bank in Beverly Hills, California.”

In addition to Otting, Trump’s nominees for other posts have been felled due to plagiarism our outright lies about their qualifications. Sheriff David Clarke of Milwaukee whiffed a nomination to the Department of Homeland Security of plagiarized passages in his master’s thesis.

Former Fox News personality Monica Crowley was forced to step down from a post as Trump’s deputy national security adviser after it was revealed that she plagiarized portions of her Ph.D. dissertation in 2000. Crowley was also ordered to retroactively register as a foreign agent of Ukrainian interests operating in the United States earlier this year.

Former Breitbart.com terrorism “expert” and suspected neo-Nazi Sebastian Gorka’s insistence on being referred to as “Dr. Gorka” in press appearance became ultimately risible when a real terrorism expert revealed this spring that Gorka was awarded his doctorate for what was essentially a lengthy blog post he dubbed his “dissertation.”

That work was, in turn, was adjudicated by a committee of his political allies and cronies in Hungary, who then conferred upon Gorka his Ph.D.

Wedding Planner to Run Chumph Federal Housing Programs

Lawn Jockey of the week and future Orange Jumpsuit wearer…Lynne Patton

She claims a Yale Degree, and never attended the school and a Law Degree she was never awarded.

Yet another full time Chumph incompetent, unqualified, criminal and liar, this time selected solely on the basis of her race.

Trump chooses inexperienced woman who planned his son Eric’s wedding to run N.Y. federal housing programs

She’s arranged tournaments at Trump golf courses, served as the liaison to the Trump family during his presidential campaign, and even arranged Eric Trump’s wedding.

Now President Trump has appointed longtime loyalist Lynne Patton — who has zero housing experience and claims a law degree the school says she never earned — to run the office that oversees federal housing programs in New York.

Patton was appointed Wednesday to head up the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Region II, which includes New York and New Jersey, where she’ll oversee distribution of billions of taxpayer dollars.

Patton’s tight relationship with the Trump clan dates back to 2009, when she began serving as the family’s “event planner.”

Lynne Patton (shown at 2016 Republican Convention) can boast of arranging Trump golf tourneys and Eric and Lara Trump’s wedding — along with an unearned law degree — but not housing experience for HUD gig.

“Responsible for organizing, executing and assisting with upscale events and celebrity golf tournaments,” her LinkedIn profile says. “Handle celebrity talent acquisition for various marketing projects, philanthropic events and golf tournaments.”

From 2011 through January, she also helped run the Eric Trump Foundation, a charity that’s now under investigation by state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.

She also claims on her LinkedIn page to have obtained a juris doctorate degree in 2000 from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Connecticut. Next to the J.D. notation is written (N/A) without explanation.

On Thursday school registrar Jim Benson said Patton attended for two semesters but did not graduate.

She also listed Yale University but HUD officials couldn’t explain why that was there. Patton, who begins her Region II job July 5, did not return calls seeking comment.

As head of the biggest HUD regional office in the U.S., Patton will oversee distribution of billions in cash to public housing authorities — including NYCHA — as well as tens of thousands of rental vouchers and block grants that fund housing inspections and senior citizen programs.

Patton is one of the handful of African Americans within Trump’s inner circle and a passionate Trump promoter. Last year she made a video entitled “I’m proof Donald Trump isn’t a bigot.”

Trump first placed her as a White House liaison at HUD in February. While there, she’s fired off multiple flamethrowing tweets for him and his family…

Patton has also had to defend her role as former vice president at Eric Trump’s foundation. Forbes last week reported the charity steered money to the Trump empire by holding events at Trump golf courses while she was there. She said nothing untoward happened at the charity.

Note – She is now under investigation by the FBI for fraud at that charity.

Karl Rove Joins the Dump Trump Train

In what has become a rapidly escalating situation, more and more Republicans have come to recognize either the Chumph’s incompetence to hold office, his basic and utter corruption, and stupidity posing an existential threat to America and American Democracy.

It isn’t just the fact that Putin’s Bitch is a traitor…It is that he is incompetent.

Karl Rove is done with Trump: He ‘lacks the focus or self-discipline to do the basic work required of a president’

Republicans have been slow to come out against President Donald Trump but conservative strategist Karl Rove is done.

In a blistering op-ed in the Wall Street Journal, Rove said, “Trump lacks the focus or self-discipline to do the basic work required of a president.”

Rove began explaining why Trump’s tweeting doesn’t remove the media barrier between Trump and the citizenry, it consistently undermines his administration and his political agenda. Citing Trump’s tweets calling his executive order a “travel ban,” Rove said the legal strategy defending the ban “lies in tatters.”

He went on to say that Trump’s tweets that followed were “even more hazardous.”

“We are EXTREME VETTING people coming into the U.S.,” Trump wrote.

“The second executive order says its rationale for suspending visas for 90 days was that conditions in the six nations ‘present heightened threats,’” Rove explained. “The Department of Homeland Security was given 20 days to ‘conduct a worldwide review’ and determine what ‘additional information will be needed’ to vet visitors properly. Those countries would then have 50 days to ‘begin providing’ the requested information. If any refused, no visas would be issued for their citizens to enter the U.S.”

Rove said that the 90-day timeline died Monday, and along with it went Trump’s credibility for the executive order.

“Trump insists that ‘extreme vetting’ is already taking place. So why is his administration still seeking judicial approval to halt visas temporarily for these six countries?” Rove wondered.

Government lawyers are wasting their breath defending an executive order that the president thinks isn’t even needed.

While Trump can reach his supporters directly on Twitter, his inability to fact-check has left him in a position where there are “considerable doubts Americans have about his competence and trustworthiness,” Rove wrote.

He went on to wonder why Trump was questioning the motives of other countries for entering into the Paris Climate Accord at a time that the U.S. needs international support for the war against ISIS. Instead, Trump should have touted American success and leadership on fighting climate change without the Paris Climate Accord.

“Increasingly it appears Mr. Trump lacks the focus or self-discipline to do the basic work required of a president,” he closed. “His chronic impulsiveness is apparently unstoppable and clearly self-defeating. Mr. Trump may have mastered the modes of communication, but not the substance, thereby sabotaging his own agenda.”

Uncle Ben Get His Payoff

Ben Carson, who knows about as much about housing and urban development as a outhouse – now has the job to derail fair housing in the US. Loyal Lawn Jockey to the end, Uncle Ben describes fair housing as “Communism”. Utterly unqualified, Uncle Ben has never held any sort of office, has no background or training in the field, Just another Uncle Tom on his knees sucking the KKK’s man parts.

Donald Trump Taps Ben Carson To Lead Housing & Urban Development

Carson has never held public office.

President-elect Donald Trump is nominating Ben Carson, a retired neurosurgeon who has never held public office, as his Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.

In a statement released Monday, Trump called Carson a “distinguished national leader” with a “brilliant mind.”

Carson, who ran against Trump in the 2016 Republican primary, told Fox News last month that he was considering the position. This was a shift from his earlier assertion that he wasn’t qualified for a Cabinet position.

Trump’s choice to nominate Carson is just the latest confirmation that he’s prioritizing loyalty over government experience. One of the president-elect’s first hirings was Steve Bannon, a former Breitbart executive with ties to white nationalists. Bannon was a close adviser to Trump during the campaign.

He is also tapping a billionaire former coal mine owner to be Commerce Secretary and Hollywood financier for Treasury Secretary.

As HUD chief, Carson will be tasked with setting housing policies for the Trump Administration, including access to affordable housing and community development. Carson’s comments on certain anti-discrimination policies ― he has called one plan a “mandated social-engineering scheme” ― is likely to concern some fair housing advocates.

“These government-engineered attempts to legislate racial equality create consequences that often make matters worse,” Carson said in a Washington Times piece last year. “There are reasonable ways to use housing policy to enhance the opportunities available to lower-income citizens, but based on the history of failed socialist experiments in this country, entrusting the government to get it right can prove downright dangerous.”

As the Daily Beast points out, as HUD Secretary, “Carson would, in part, be the very person entrusted to get it right.”

Republican Arizona Senator John McCain’s Dementia

Republican Arizona Senator McCain has further disqualified himself from office. Hopefully the folks in Arizona this November will recognize his failing mental acuity and falling status…

In this Oct. 20, 2015 photo Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., talks to reporters near the subway on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. (Photo by Carolyn Kaster/AP)

A portrait of dementia…

John McCain: President Obama is ‘directly responsible’ for Orlando

When Donald Trump said yesterday that President Obama was “directly responsible” for the deadliest mass-shooting in American history, it was the latest evidence of a candidate who’s abandoned any sense of propriety or decency.
Wait, did I say Donald Trump? I meant John McCain.
Republican Sen. John McCain on Thursday blamed President Barack Obama for the deadly shooting in Orlando that killed 49 club goers.
He said the president is “directly responsible for it because” of his “utter failures” in Iraq.
“Barack Obama is directly responsible for it because when he pulled everybody out of Iraq, al Qaeda went to Syria and became ISIS and ISIS is what it is today thanks to Barack Obama’s failures, utter failures by pulling everybody out of Iraq thinking that conflicts end just because we leave,” McCain told reporters on Capitol Hill, according to audio obtained by NBC News.
The senator added, “So the responsibility for it lies with President Barack Obama and his failed policies.”
It wasn’t long before McCain realized this kind of unhinged rhetoric might be problematic, so the senator soon after issued a follow-up statement saying he “misspoke.”
That’s probably not the right word. When someone says “Iraq” when they meant “Iran,” that’s misspeaking. When the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee delivers a 65-word rant blaming the president for a mass murder, that’s more than a slip of the tongue.
McCain added, by way of a “clarification,” that he was blaming the president’s “national security decisions” for the rise of ISIS, “not the president himself.”
How gracious of him.
The clumsy walk-back notwithstanding, what’s wrong with McCain’s argument? Everything.
Right off the bat, let’s not forget that the lunatic responsible for the Orlando massacre was not a member of ISIS. He may have been inspired in some way by the terrorists, and he may have pledged some kind of allegiance to them, but there’s no evidence at all that ISIS was somehow involved in planning and/or executing this attack.
It may be politically convenient to blame a foreign foe for an American buying guns in America and then killing Americans on American soil, but giving ISIS more credit than it deserves is a mistake.
Second, McCain’s broader point is hard to take seriously. Here’s the senator’s logic: Obama withdrew U.S. troops from Iraq in 2010, which eventually and indirectly led to the creation of ISIS, which eventually led lunatics to identify with ISIS, which eventually led to the Orlando mass-shooting.
Even putting aside the bizarre leaps of logic necessarily to adopt such a thesis, McCain is overlooking the fact that (a) he celebrated Obama’s troop withdrawal in 2010; (b) the troop withdrawal was the result of a U.S./Iraq Status of Forces Agreement negotiated by the Bush/Cheney administration; and (c) by the senator’s own reasoning, given his enthusiastic support for the war in Iraq, McCain would have to hold himself “directly responsible” for the Orlando slayings, too….

Wisconsin Paper, and Local Radio Do Major Trump Takedown

Looks like the “Steely Knives” are out in Wisconsin to kill the Trump campaign.First, the conservative talking heads in the state eviscerated him in interviews on talk radio…

And now the major Newspaper in the state has published a blistering condemnation.

Trump Pinata’s now popular in not only Mexico…But North of the Border

By any measure, Donald Trump is unfit to be president

No to Donald Trump.

No to his bigotry.

No to his contempt for women and minorities. No to his vague, clueless bluster about the problems facing the nation.

No to Trumpism, which runs counter to the ideals of this nation of immigrants, to the notion that by working together under the rule of law, we can protect freedom and promote inclusion and fair play.

Wisconsin Republicans: Reject this un-American candidate on April 5.

And consider these facts:

■Trump has stoked the smoldering fears of immigrants long latent in American political culture. He calls for walling out immigrants and deporting 11 million people. It is an impossible and disruptive policy that would divide families, require enormous law enforcement resources and drive the undocumented deeper into the shadows. Worse, it wouldn’t address the problem of supply and demand for labor. It likely would harm entire industries — including Wisconsin dairy operations — and encourage public corruption such as we haven’t seen since Prohibition.

■Trump’s blustering anti-Muslim rhetoric is helping to recruit new terrorists. He promises to “bomb the sh– out of ISIS” and demands that all Muslims be banned from entering the country. He singles out an entire religion, against the First Amendment promise that we can worship as we choose, instead of focusing on the terrorists who have brought shame to their faith. He refuses to rule out the use of tactical nuclear weapons. He says “torture works,” and despite never having fought for his country, he ridicules Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), who suffered years of torture in a North Vietnamese prisoner of war camp. Trump advocates killing the civilian families of terrorists and violating international law, promising the military will follow his orders over their constitutional and moral duties. The Islamic State thinks so much of Trump’s sound bites that it has used them in recruitment videos.

■Trump has belittled women for decades. His coarse comments about his opponent in the early primaries, Carly Fiorina, Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly and Heidi Cruz, the wife of his closest opponent for the Republican nomination, were just the latest in a long line of outrageous sexist statements. He has called womenfat pigs, slobs and dogs. He has made rude sexual comments on talk radio shows. In the latest NBC/Wall Street Journal poll, he had an astounding 70% unfavorable rating among women overall, which makes him unelectable in a general election.

■Trump has incited violence at his rallies with heated rhetoric aimed at firing up supporters while portraying himself as a tough guy. From behind a wall of Secret Service protection, Trump has said that in the past protesters “would be carried out on a stretcher” or that he would like to punch them “in the face.” After a white North Carolina man sucker-punched an African-American protester who was being led away, Trump offered to pay the assailant’s legal fees. In Chicago, after protesters infiltrated a Trump rally, the candidate called off the event and fist fights broke out. At a rally in Iowa, he “joked” that he could shoot someone “in the middle of Fifth Avenue” and not lose a single vote….Read The Rest Here

Meg Whitman – Carly FIorina “Unqualified”

Ouch! This one is going to leave a mark. Fellow CEO (former in Carly’s situation) Meg Whitman – who is credited with building EBay and is currently President of Hewlett Packard…

AND Fellow Republican…

Unloads on Republican Presidential candidate Carly Fiorina!

Meg Whitman

HP CEO Says That Carly Fiorina Is Not Qualified To Be President

“Literally having some experience in politics is probably an important criteria,” Meg Whitman says.

Current Hewlett-Packard CEO Meg Whitman doesn’t think former HP CEO Carly Fiorina is qualified to be president because the Republican contender has no political experience.

“I just think literally having some experience in politics is probably an important criteria for the highest office in the land,” Whitman told CNN over the weekend. “I think it’s very difficult for your first role in politics to be president of the United States. I think having experience in the Senate or as the governor of a state is really important. It’s just hard to be dropped down in Washington, D.C. never having experience in politics before.”

Indeed, only three U.S. presidents have landed the job without some experience in elected office. However, those three — Ulysses Grant, Zachary Taylor and Dwight Eisenhower — all served in top leadership positions in the U.S. military.

Whitman’s been running HP since 2011, when she took on the role after a run of disastrous leadership at the struggling computer maker, and she is now preparing to split the company into two publicly traded entities. She’s probably most well-known for leading eBay from a startup to a booming auction site, but she did try her hand at politics in a failed run for governor of California. That’s another thing she has in common with Fiorina, who lost a bid for senator in California in 2010.

Whitman also happens to be backing New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie in his bid for the presidential nomination. He’s not exactly the leading candidate for the role, and Whitman has declined to say who she will ultimately support in next year’s election.

Good thing Carly got that “Get out of Dodge” Golden Parachute…

The only Board I can see hiring her after her serial lies and “reality dysfunction” this election…Would be a circular firing squad.

Pot Calls the Kettle Black

George H W Bush, AKA “W” will likely be remembered by Historians as the worst and most disastrous President in American History outside of possibly Ulysses Grant.  He will never be known as one of the brighter lights who occupied the White House, either.

Despite this, you can’t dispute the guys personality, charisma, and commitment. Sometimes a lackluster President can be saved by the people around him – AKA Raygun. Unfortunately for President Bush, the only geniuses who won control on his team were skilled at political manipulation…

Not governing or decision making. (Which coincidentally is just the opposite problem as President Obama.)

But when Dumbya calls you “dumb”… Dayam!

Bush: Palin Isn’t Qualified to Be President

Former President George Bush doesn’t believe Sarah Palin is qualified to be president and thinks less of John McCain for choosing her as his running mate, a confidant tell the New York Daily News. “Naming Palin makes Bush think less of McCain as a man,” said a GOP official close to Bush. “He thinks McCain ran a lousy campaign with an unqualified running mate, and destroyed any chance of winning by picking Palin.”

Bush’s zinger against Palin—and McCain—comes through an intermediary in keeping with his policy to keep his criticism of politicians under the radar. He believes President Obama has failed, particularly in his policies concerning Afghanistan, sources say, but he publicly supports the president.
