BUSTED: Vermont white nationalist loses job at pizza chain after being spotted in Charlottesville

Another day, another Charlottesville white nationalist who finds himself out of work.

The Burlington Free Press reports that Ryan Roy, who had worked as a cook at a South Burlington Pizzeria Uno, was fired from his job after activists identified him as an attendee at last week’s white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

“Ryan Roy has been terminated,” Skip Weldon, chief marketing officer for Pizzeria Uno, told the publication. “We are committed to the fair treatment of all people and the safety of our guests and employees at our restaurants.”

In an interview with the Free Press, Roy decried the liberal activists who got him fired from his job and alleged they weren’t tolerant of his belief that white Americans should have their own country that is separate from all racial minorities.

“I think it kind of just proves my point, proves a lot of what I think, not that I needed further proof,” Roy said. “I think it’s group think.”

Roy freely admitted to attending the rally, which he said was designed to advocate turning the United States back into a “white” country.

“Obviously I would advocate for racial separation and racial nationalism or repatriation or even a return to — our country was a white country up until the 1965 Hart-Celler Immigration Act,” he said.

Minnesota neo-Nazis fired from diner after resident exposes them posing in full SS regalia

The post-Charlottesville racist outing has claimed two more neo-Nazis.

According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, two neo-Nazis in Minneapolis, Minnesota were fired from the diner they worked for after being photographed in what appears to be World War II-era SS uniforms.

Hours after the mens’ “Nazi selfie” caused Minneapolis residents to call for a boycott to the Uptown Diner, the restaurant’s manager made a post of their own.

“The Uptown Diner unequivocally repudiates the beliefs and ideals of neo-Nazis and white supremacy,” the restaurant said in a statement on Facebook. “Hate and bigotry have no place in society. We are committed to fostering an inclusive, welcoming environment at our restaurant and in our community.”

Along with the post showing the former Uptown Diner employees in SS regalia, Minneapolis resident Kyle Dekker’s also revealed a profile photo of a former employee with a photo claiming he’s a member of the “Rhodesian Army” — a reference to an unrecognized white supremacist government in Zimbabwe that counts Charleston church shooter Dylann Roof among their fans.

Their swift firing constitutes yet another example of viral posts getting white supremacists fired in the wake of the violent “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

BUSTED: Classmates ID Charlottesville marcher and demand that high school disavow him

Another white supremacist marcher has been identified, this time by fellow graduates of the St. Louis, MO high school that he attended.

KMOV Channel 4 of St. Louis said that Clark Canepa’s fellow graduates from Ladue Horton Watkins High School urged their former school to repudiate the 21-year-old who was photographed marching with a torch and chanting Nazi slogans in Charlottesville, VA last Friday night.

Canepa appeared in a video shared by Vice News in the wake of the lethal violence that took place on Saturday. Classmates recognized him and began to spread the word.

In the video, Canepa is holding a torch and chanting the Nazi slogans “Blood and soil” and “Jews will not replace us.”

Sasha Scott, who graduated with Canepa in 2014, said, “Clear shot, absolutely, not only of him marching, but him with a tiki, him chanting, like actively participating. Wasn’t even like it was something he happened to be a part of, he was going out of his way to actively participate and show his support.”

When contacted by Channel 4, Canepa said, “It was a fantastic time. Unfortunately, the left wing violence wasn’t prevented by the police.”

Add to the Daily List — Yet Another Racist Chumph Supporter Fired

Quick step to the unemployment line.

Not sure why this is difficult for some folks to understand – but your social and political activity can get you fired. Seems a bunch of the alt-right and supremacist trolls didn’t get the message in Charlottesville. Now they are as they lose jobs and respect in their communities.

My first professional job was with IBM. In those days they were pretty clear about their rules of conduct. Any employee who brought negative attention to the company, got their ass terminated. I remember an incident where some fellow employees had a penny Poker game going in a Hotel we stayed in while in training. The local Gendarme raided the game by mistake, looking for a high-stakes illegal game in another room. The players, despite the fact the game was legal, got arrested. Big Blue terminated the two guys whose room the game was in, principally because the raid made the local news. As a group of new hires, we attended a meeting shortly thereafter where we were read the official riot act.

My job posting with IBM was in highly secure locations which required heavy duty Security Clearances. In those day, believe it or not, being a member of the NAACP was cause to be rejected for a clearance (I hid my card), and the NAACP, as well as most Civil Rights Organizations were listed under the category of “Subversive Organization” on the application form. Having friends in foreign countries, including Israel, a strong ally, was considered “risky”. Having spoken at a rally at any of the Civil Rights groups meant your application meant your approval was DOA – especially with the FBI. Fortunately since so little was online in those days you could hide your legal activity.

The neo-nazis and neo-confederates who sparked domestic terrorism in Charlottesville, Va this weekend are learning this lesson. Several have publically been fired – and it appears more are on the way. People have been fired for threatening President Obama and Trump (which is a felony). Being non-politically correct really is no excuse for abusive, sexist, racist, ethnic, illegal, or religious intolerant words designed to hurt other people. I am not sure why some folks don’t get this message, as it seems every day one idiot or another joins the unemployment line for something said on Social Media.

Perhaps in various echo chambers on the left and right people may feel secure by the support they receive for out-of-bounds statements, death threats, or by describing the political opposites in profane or abusive terms. There are sites like Breitbart and the Daily Stormer which allow that. Some of the language on left leaning sites can be pretty raunchy as well.

From the business side, most companies derive revenue from anyone who wants to buy their product. Most are not going to tolerate an employee who expresses opinions indicating either a) the employee is incapable of treating some customers or fellow employees fairly due to bias, of b) the employee’s off job antics makes the company seem unwelcoming to all customers. Companies which don’t do this, are seen as supporting the rabid views of the employee…And may suffer economic consequences.

If you aren’t in Marketing, or just haven’t figured it out yet – Minorities tend to have a much higher level of brand loyalty than the majority population, and are more likely to buy that major brand than an off brand. That means, Minority buyers punch above their population percentage weight in buying name products like Clorox, Coke, and other name brand consumer items.

These companies don’t have active Diversity and outreach projects out of some sort of “misplaced” kindness or “PC”…It is because it is very good for the bottom line.

And the rules get even tougher should you join the executive level.

It is far cheaper, and more profitable to replace your dumb ass than take the hit of a consumer boycott, or loss of corporate image.

‘Not racist’ Trump supporter fired from job after sending comedian unhinged rant about ‘warefafe loving n**&$rs’

A fan of President Donald Trump was recently fired from his job after sending racist messages to comedian Gary Owen.

The Trump supporter, Joseph Lanham, went to see Owen’s show Saturday night in North Naples, Florida. He apparently became upset when Owen started making fun of the president.

Owen told local news outlet Fox 4 Now that the drunk white man started heckling him and loudly shouting racial slurs.

“And at one point I was doing a Trump joke, and he said ‘Yeah, there’s more of us than there is of them.’ And he kept talking, so I kicked him out of my show,” Owen said in an Instagram video. “This is what he sent me on Facebook.”

Owen then showed three racist messages from Lanham, the first of which read: “Your at a n*gga living piece of shit and we are paying for you warefafe loving n*ggers [sic].”

“He send this to me as a message on Facebook… Now everybody knows who you are. Hope your boss sees it if you got a job,” Owen said in his video. “But that $40 you spent on a ticket to see me? I’m going to donate that to the NAACP, you racist f*ck.”

According to NBC 2, Lanham was fired from his job as Vice President of Sales for National Roofing of Collier. His wife was also fired from the same company.

His former boss, Ralph Goddard, said the the racist messages angered him. He also said his company was receiving threats over it.

“I was fearful for my employees to even come in this morning because I didn’t know what to expect,” Goddard said.

Lanham told NBC 2 that he’s not a racist. He blamed his racist behavior on alcohol.

Racist Trump Troll Unmasked As Unemployed 34 Year Old Living Off His Father

Confirming the stereotype that much of the alt-right Trolls are 30 something unemployed, overweight, uneducated  failures living off mommy and daddy, who sit in the basement and spew hate.

Scotish man Colin Robertson has been revealed as the influential racist vlogger behind the Millennial Woes blog (Screen cap via Daily Record).

Influential YouTube racist unmasked as unemployed man living with his father

An influential racist YouTuber living in Scotland has been unmasked as an unemployed ex-student who still lives with his father.

The Daily Record has confirmed that a 34-year-old Linlithgow resident named Colin Robertson is the man behind the Millennial Woes YouTube channel, which counts more than 20,000 subscribers and over 2 million video views.

Robertson has become an influential voice within the white nationalist movement, and late last year he gave a speech at the National Policy Institute conference in Washington, D.C., where participants raised their arms in Nazi salutes and shouted, “Hail Trump!”

As the Record notes, Robertson is explicitly a white nationalist, as he believes that white people are the only people who should be allowed to lawfully live in the United Kingdom.

“I just didn’t want loads of black people in my country,” he said in a recent video. “It came down to a racial thing, a racial loyalty. I didn’t want black people, I didn’t want Indians, I didn’t want Chinese, I didn’t want Arabs, I wanted my country for my people.”

Although he has no formal job, the Record says Robertson claims to make enough money to live via ads for his incendiary videos, which he shoots in his father’s bedroom.

The Daily Racist Trumpazoids Who Let Their Racism…Get Their Ass Fired

It isn’t officially the Chumph Reich quite yet…

Racism does indeed make you STUPID.

Official Who Called Michelle Obama ‘Ape In Heels’ Won’t Keep Job After All

The nonprofit she formerly led will now be overseen by another state agency.

A West Virginia official who called first lady Michelle Obama an “ape in heels” in a widely shared Facebook post has been permanently removed from her position.

Pamela Ramsey Taylor will not continue as director of the Clay County Development Corporation, a state- and federally funded nonprofit, Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin’s office confirmed Tuesday morning.

“Following the state’s request for specific assurances that the CCDC is following anti-discrimination policies, we have been assured that Pamela Taylor has been removed from her position as CCDC director,” Tomblin’s communications director Jessica Tice said in a statement to The Huffington Post.

Keep ‘your fat mouth shut’: Trump-backing school principal under fire for attacking Texas cuffed-mom

A Dallas charter school principal, who proudly calls herself on of Donald Trump’s “deplorables,” is under fire for attacking a Fort Worth mom who was cuffed by local cop after reporting a white man had assaulted her son.

In a video that went viral this week, Jacqueline Craig and her daughter were seen being apprehended and hauled off to jail  by a white Fort Worth cop after the officer spoke with the man accused of attacking her son. While the police officer’s actions have been widely criticized, Lana Sprayberry, principal of Inspired Vision Academy Elementary School in Dallas had a different take that has landed her in hot water.

According to The Root, Sprayberry took to her Facebook page to lambaste Craig, telling her she should have kept her “fat mouth shut.”

“Stop trying to act innocent,” Sprayberry wrote. “If you had kept your fat mouth shut the cop would not have had a reason to cuff! I wouldn’t blame every cop to walk off their job in protest!!! Lord help us!!!”

Sprayberry has since deleted the post but not before it was screen-captured by attorney Lee Merritt, who is representing the Craig family, and was forwarded to A+Charter Schools, Inc. which oversees Inspired Vision Academy.

A+Charter issued a response on their own Facebook page, saying: “We are aware of a Facebook comment made by one of our A+ Charter Schools, Inc. employees. While we are unable to comment on this personnel issue, we can share that we are taking this very seriously, and are further investigating the situation.”

Racism Makes You Stupid: Datapoint – Trumpazoid Jackass # 2,322,001, Bank VP Fired

On the subject of “poor career decisions”. Some of the Trumpazoids apparently believe the “White Reich” is already here. Leading to some really, really stupid career ending decisions.

Alabama bank VP canned over racist Facebook post bragging Trump could ‘buy and sell’ Obamas

June Pridmore (Facebook)

Racist Trump Jackass of the Week…Now Unemployed

An Alabama woman lost her job after her bigoted, inaccurate and grossly misspelled Facebook rant earned her the title of “racist of the week.”

June Pridmore, a senior-level employee with Regions Bank, welcomed the election of Donald Trump in a social media post that alluded to slavery and suggested President Barack Obama was Muslim, reported AL.com.

“I voted him in,” Pridmore wrote. “I like him. He has a beautiful wife unlike the ugly and embarrassing woman (for lack of a better word), in the White House now. Ms. Trump’s face would make Michele (sic) O’Bama (sic) a Sunday face.”

“I’m certainly glad [Trump] he has a lot of money because she he (sic) won’t be bought out like Barack (sic), socialist Muslim O’Bama (sic) or his wife or all those host of relatives they have in the whitehouse (sic) for US to support.”

Pridmore inaccurately claimed the Obama family had flown their dog to vacations in a separate plane and invited several relatives to live with them at taxpayer expense.

“If any idiot out there thinks that is justified, you deserved him as president,” Pridmore wrote. “I prefer a man who can buy Michele (sic) and Barack and sell them several times over.”

The post was widely shared on Facebook, under the label “racist of the week,” and Pridmore’s employer launched an investigation — which resulted in her termination.

“We appreciate the concerns shared about offensive social media comments that were made through an associate’s personal Facebook account,” said Jeremy King, a spokesman for the bank. “We want you to know that we share those concerns. Those comments do not reflect our values as a company or the way we do business. The associate is no longer an employee of the company.”

The spokesman said Pridmore, whose LinkedIn profile showed she had served as senior vice president of loan operations since 2008, was not in a position where she could approve or deny loans.

Pridmore has deleted her social media profiles since her racist post cost her job.

Unemployed “Occupy” Mitch McConnell’s Senate Office

They need to Occupy “C” Street where these Rethug scumbags live…Give them no lace to hide.

Jobless Protesters Occupy Mitch McConnell’s Office As Congress Dithers On Jobs

Members of OurDC call senators and DC residents on their cell phones to ask for support on the 'Rebuild America Act' as they stage a sit-in at Mitch McConnell's office.

Protesters Sit in Waiting Room

Roughly 30 jobless protesters from D.C. neighborhoods occupied Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s office in the Russell Senate Office Building Thursday, saying they wanted to talk to him about jobs.

But McConnell was busy at the Capitol Building, where he led Republicans in blocking a $60 billion infrastructure bill. The protesters said they supported the measure.

McConnell’s legislative director offered to sit down with the group, but they declined, saying they’d rather wait for the senator himself. So they sat in his office, taking up every chair and lots of floor space while McConnell’s staff went about its business. A Capitol Police officer scoped the situation and said her heart went out to them for losing their jobs.

The protesters, most of whom said they lived in the poorest part of Southeast D.C., had no affiliation with the Occupy Wall Street movement. They’d been organized by a community group called OurDC, which has been hectoring Congress about jobs since it launched with SEIU seed money earlier this year. The protesters remained in the office as of Thursday afternoon as of 3 p.m. and said they wouldn’t leave before meeting the senator.

“Hopefully we can all get together with the senator today before time is up,” said Ted Black, a 58-year-old resident of Southeast D.C. Black said he is a Vietnam-era veteran and that he lost his job as a radiologist tech three months ago. He supports President Obama’s jobs package, he said, including the blocked infrastructure bill.

“I’m here supporting the cause for veterans and also for teachers and children and schools and residents who are unemployed or underemployed or homeless,” Black said.

McConnell’s office declined to comment on the protesters.

It’s Not the Education System That’s Broke

[MISMATCHstats]You hear this refrain frequently – that American companies can’t find qualified or educated workers. With the recent exposure that many companies automatically exclude the unemployed as potential employees – it’s becomming incresingly obvious that it is not the education system that is the problem…

It’s the companies themselves.

Some years ago many companies started using automated search engines which sorted resumes looking for keywords. The growth of the Internet has also meant the growth of potential resumes which a company can choose from. Keyword searches are based on the faulty idea that someone who is qualified for a potential position will include those words in the resume. So for instance, a candidate with an ITIL, Six Sigma, or PMI certification would include those terms in the resume. Since real work skills, accomplishments, and experience don’t translate to such simpleminded analysis – the impact of this was to devalue the experience of anyone who could actually do the job, and raise the value of folks who became certification whores.

Leading to the surreal environment where the self proclaimed “father of the Internet” couldn’t get hired for a technical job in the industry he created – or a guy who had actually designed and built bridges over rivers for 25 years…

Is suddenly “unqualified” for a job to design and build bridges, because he hadn’t built a bridge over a creek.

Enabled by the power of the computer, Human Resources folks were able to get very precise in developing requirements for potential hires. This meant developing skills criteria where no one, who wasn’t already doing the job for the hiring company (and usually even the person in the job couldn’t qualify for), could ever fit. Years ago, I took a job with a company which had developed a proprietary technology which was only utilized at that time in 3 other places in the world, including DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency – which is a small group of really smart guys working on super secret technology projects), and MIT being two of the three other places. My advantage? I had at least read about it in technical publications. Recognizing that the pool of folks who knew anything about the technology was exceedingly small – the company had an aggressive internal education program to bring employees up to speed.

Today, companies don’t want to invest in training employees – believing that the alphabet soup of outside certification agencies is somehow going to produce qualified employees. It doesn’t, what it produces is a lot of employees with the common toolkits to work – which is a large distance from having the real functional skills.

Being in the tech industry means getting approached by headhunters several times a week, sometimes on resumes that are 10 years or more old. My last name is the same as a company which produces a very sophisticated software system. For years I’d get calls from breathless headhunters looking for programmers familiar with the system. Never occurred to these folks that if I was the guy who had created the system, and CEO of the company bearing my last name…

WTF would I be looking for a junior or mid-level programming job? Read the rest of this entry »
