The Chump’s favorite Lawn Jockey is at it again!

The question is, when exactly is Wisconsin going to hold him accountable for the murder of prisoners under his care?

Ex-Sheriff David Clarke Faces Trial Over Facebook Taunts Against Plane Passenger

A federal judge said Clarke’s posts were an issue of possible “First Amendment retaliation.”

Staunch President Donald Trump ally and former Milwaukee County sheriff David Clarkefaces trial this month for Facebook taunts against a plane passenger who Clarke thought disrespected him.

Passenger Dan Black filed a civil rights lawsuit against Clarke arguing he violated Black’s First Amendment rights with retaliatory Facebook posts on the sheriff’s page. Wisconsin U.S. District Judge J.P. Stadtmueller ruled Friday that Clarke’s posts could “reasonably be understood as a threat, coercion, or intimidation that punishment … will immediately follow.” A jury is now set to hear the case Jan. 22.

Threatening posts appeared on the sheriff’s Facebook page after Black, a Milwaukee resident, filed a complaint about his treatment by Clarke when the two men encountered each other on a plane heading from Dallas to Milwaukee early last year. Black shook his head when he recognized Clarke, and Clarke directed deputies to detain Black after landing. Black was met by six deputies and two police dogs, questioned and escorted from the airport, according to an FBI account of the events.

Black filed a civil rights suit against the deputies and Clarke — who was once considered for a post as Trump’s deputy secretary of Homeland Security — accusing them of violating his constitutional rights of free speech and due process, and his right against unreasonable seizure.

Stadtmueller threw out most of Black’s claims, and dropped the case against the deputies. The judge ruled that being questioned by deputies did not constitute a “seizure,” and that the lack of due process was not the “most egregious official conduct” to “shock the conscience” and therefore did not require a trial.

But Stadtmueller ruled a jury should determine if the Facebook posts constituted intimidation that amounted to retaliation against Black. One of the posts on Clarke’s Facebook page said if “Sheriff Clarke were to really harass you, you wouldn’t be around to whine about it.” Another post said the next time Black or anyone “pulls this stunt on a plane they may get knocked out.”

The judge concluded that “Black has raised a triable issue … as to his claim for First Amendment retaliation based on Clarke’s Facebook posts.”

Another alt-right Bigot Sex-Offendor Arrested Threatening Howard U Students

One of your typical 4Chan white wing Child Molestor types…Let’s hope he doesn’t get a Chumph Judge and gets to spend a long time in DC Jail..

Sex offender arrested for threats against Howard University students: ‘It’s not murder if they’re black’

John Edgar Rust has been arrested making racially-motivated threats against students at the historically-black Howard University in Washington, DC.

According to WUSA-TV, the 26-year-old Rust, who was convicted in 2012 of “indecent liberties with a child by custodian and aggravated sexual battery,” made threats against the lives of Howard students on the infamous 4chan message boards in 2015.

Rust made his post during a period of racial unrest at Missouri University.

“I left MU yesterday because I couldn’t put up with it anymore,” Rust wrote in his Facebook post. “I go home to Maryland and what do I see? The same old s***. Turn on the news and it’s always the n***** causing trouble everywhere. So I’ve decided. Any n***** left at Howard University after 10 tomorrow will be the first to go. And any of those cheapskate n***** who try to get out using the metro will regret that choice real fast.”

Rust also claimed that “it’s not murder if they’re black.”

Because he made the post from a Panera Bread in Alexandria, Virginia, Rust was charged with “transmission in interstate commerce of a communication containing threats to injure the person of another” due to the location of Howard. He could be sentenced to up to five years in prison.

Foreign Commentator…Meet the KKK

Univision journalist Ilia Calderón probably thought she was going to interview a normal human when she decided to interview a KKK Grand Dragon in his lair.

A lot of folks just don’t seem to realize what the KKK is – especially foreigners. So when the Chumph equates the KKK and antifa – this is what he is defending.

A regular “Negro Wake-up Call” for her and her viewers.

KKK leader threatens life of Afro-Latina journalist during interview

“We killed 6 million Jews the last time. Eleven million is nothing,” said the KKK’s Chris Barker

Ilia Calderón, an afro-latina reporter, feared for the safety of herself and her crew after being threatened by a KKK leader during an interview.

Calderón, an immigrant journalist for Univision of both African and Colombian descent, agreed to meet the grand wizard of Loyal White Knights faction of the KKK Chris Barker on his property in North Carolina in July.

After watching Barker conduct a ceremony with his fellow KKK members dressed in robes and yielding torches, she sat down with the leader and his wife for an interview. Things escalated quickly as Barker questioned why the journalist didn’t “go back” to the country she was born in. “We have nothing here in America; ya’ll keep flooding it,” he said. “But like God says – like Yahweh himself says – we will chase you out of here.”

Barker continued to say that he and his fellow white supremacists would “burn out” all of the immigrants in the country. After Calderón questioned exactly how that could happen, he responded saying, “We killed 6 million Jews the last time. Eleven million is nothing.”

Later on in the interview, Barker refers to the journalist as a “mongrel” and a “n*****,” then proceeded to claim he isn’t racist because he was part of a Christian group and not a hate group.

“My team told me that I would be insulted, and I knew, but I never imagined the level,” Calderón told Univision. “. . . At that time I was really felt very afraid for my safety and the safety of my team.”

“As part of the editorial meetings we were discussing the incidents of hate that had been presented, and how, from 2016 to here, these people and these groups feel entitled to raise its highest voice – perhaps backed by a President who speaks very weakly about it,” she said.

The “Christian group” had a lot to say about the riots in Charlottesville last weekend. The Loyal Knights praised James Fields — the man who drove his car into a sea of protesters that ended in the death of one women — for “running over nine communist anti-fascists.”

“When a couple of them die, it doesn’t bother us,” Barker said. “They’re always attacking and messing with our rallies.”

Delta…Again

The mistreatment of passengers by Airlines is finally reaching a tipping point…

Now that Airports have Police, who are supposed to be countering terrorism, the main victims are innocent passengers.

Here, a family had bought 3 seats, one to put their 2 year old in a carrier to be safe – per Airline Regulations.

Delta Flight Personnel demanded that they give up the seat they paid for and hold the baby for the 7 hour flight…

Then falsely threaten to have them arrested. Things have gone way too far in the Airline industry.  Congress needs to come down on these clowns like a ton of bricks.

WATCH: Delta flight attendant threatens parents with jail while booting family from overbooked flight

A Southern California man posted a video on YouTube of Delta flight attendants kicking them off an overbooked plane for refusing to give up a seat for their young son.

Brian Schear, of Huntington Beach, said he and his family were flying overnight from Hawaii to Los Angeles last week when employees asked them to give up the seat where their 2-year-old son was sitting, reported KABC-TV.

He tried to refuse and was threatened with jail, according to the video.

“You have to give up the seat or you’re going to jail, your wife is going to jail and they’ll take your kids from you,” Schear recalled the flight attendant saying.

Delta employees wanted the family to hold the young child in their laps during the flight, but Schear argued that they had bought the boy a ticket because he needed to sit in his car seat to sleep.

An employee inaccurately told the family the boy needed to sit in a seat with an adult, because the airline’s website recommends that children under 2 years old should sit in an approved child seat in a ticketed seat of their own.

The entire family was ordered off the plane, and they stayed overnight in a hotel and bought new tickets the following day, reported KTLA-TV.

Delta issued a statement Thursday on the incident, but did not explain why the family was asked to give up their seat.

“We’re sorry for what this family experienced,” said spokeswoman Betsy Talton. “Our team has reached out and will be talking with them to better understand what happened and come to a resolution. I can confirm that this was not because the flight was overbooked.”

Chumph Lackey Alex Jones Looking at Felony Time

Supporting the Chumph won’t keep your ass out of jail. The Chumph’s source of conspiracy theories (by way of Russian spies) is Alex Jones “Infowars” site.

Alex is currently in deep soul searching conversations with the Secret Service over threatening to kill a Congressman.

Suggest the GSA convert the Chumph Hotel in DC into a jail, and keep the gaudy trinkets next to the bars.

Then again, 6 years in GenPop…Does have its “re-education” possibilities.

Alex Jones’s threat to Congressman may be a felony

Law enforcement officials are not saying whether they will charge broadcaster Alex Jones, the right-wing conspiracy theorist ally of President Donald Trump, for publicly threatening to “beat” Representative Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and telling Schiff to “fill your hand”—a reference to taking up a pistol.

But, says an attorney with expertise in federal law, Jones’s threats appear to break a federal law, 18 U.S.C. § 115, which states “whoever threatens to assault any a Member of Congress, when s/he is engaged in, or on account of, the performance of official duties, with intent to impede, intimidate, or interfere with such official while engaged in the performance of official duties, or with intent to retaliate against such official, the threat shall be punished by a fine and/or imprisonment of up to 6 years.”

“I do think that the combination of Jones’s comments would amount to a threat,” says Amanda Berman, director of legal affairs with Lawfare, a consortium of experts on national security law. “It seems to be a clear provocation. Ultimately the question would have to be put to a judge or jury, but I think there is a legal basis for a conviction based on Jones’s threat which was made ‘with intent to impede, intimidate or interfere’ with Congressman Schiff’s exercise of his duties as the ranking member of the committee investigating the connection between the Trump campaign/administration and the Russians.”

Schiff likely became a Jones target because he is the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, which is investigating possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia. Schiff has said there is “ more than circumstantial” evidence of collusion between Trump associates and Russia.

Jones is based in Austin, Texas, and Texas state law also forbids threats against public officials.

A spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas did not return calls and emailed requests for comment.

Uploaded March 30 under the headline Watch Live Now! Plan to Assassinate Trump Leaked, the video involved an interview with Republican operative Roger Stone, a sometime Trump adviser. Jones launched into his rant against Schiff while talking with Stone, but the canny operative—who has been accused of having Russia ties himself—did not take the bait, remarking: “I’m not going to go there.”

It’s not clear whether the video was broadcast on the air before being posted to YouTube: If so, that would bring it under the purview of the Federal Communication Commission. Jones’s Infowars program is carried by Genesis Communications Network, which produces 75 shows aired on 830 radio stations.

In addition to threatening to “beat” Schiff, the rant was also explicitly anti-gay. Neither Schiff’s office nor the FCC have returned calls for comment. The CEO and founder of Genesis Communications, Ted Anderson, also has not responded to messages.

The video was brought to Newsweek’ s attention by Media Matters, a progressive PAC that monitors Jones’s shows.

Jones’s broadcast style serves up class resentment and paranoia, and he sometimes literally growls with rage about “globalists.” The Southern Poverty Law Center has called him “the most prolific conspiracy theorist in America.” Among the outlandish ideas he frequently discusses are that the 9/11 terrorist attacks were an inside job and that the Sandy Hook elementary school massacre was a faked false flag operation aimed at taking away Americans’ gun rights. Until he publicly recanted recently, he was also a purveyor of “Pizzagate,” the claim that Hillary Clinton and other Democrats engaged in child abuse in the basement of a popular Washington, D.C. pizza parlor. Acting on that theory, a North Carolina man shot up the restaurant with an assault rifle in December after driving to the nation’s capital to “self-investigate.”

The rise of Trump has not soothed Jones’s excitable tendencies. On the contrary: He has dialed it up a few notches, going so far as urging Trump to use violence against his opponents.

In February the online advertiser AdRoll suspended its relationship with Infowars. Kellogg has also stopped its advertising, citing hate speech. Jones is still supported by Google via its Youtube Partners Program, which helps users connect with advertisers, and other advertisers include Playstation and Trivago.

The full transcript of Jones’s rant against Schiff is below, and the video clip is here.

Warning: persistent profanity.

“I’m not against gay people. OK. I love them, they’re great folks. But Schiff looks like the archetypal cocksucker with those little deer-in-the-headlight eyes and all his stuff. And there’s something about this fairy, hopping around, bossing everybody around, trying to intimidate people like me and you, I want to tell Congressman Schiff and all the rest of them, “Hey listen asshole, quit saying Roger and I’—and I’ve never used cussing in 22 years but the gloves are off—’listen you son of a bitch, what the fuck’s your problem? You want to sit here and say that I’m a goddamn, fucking Russian. You get in my face with that I’ll beat your goddamn ass, you son of a bitch. You piece of shit. You fucking goddamn fucker. Listen fuckhead, you have fucking crossed a line. Get that through your goddamn fucking head. Stop pushing your shit. You’re the people that have fucked this country over and gangraped the shit out of it and lost an election. So stop shooting your mouth off claiming I’m the enemy. You got that you goddamn son of a bitch? Fill your hand.’ I’m sorry, but I’m done. You start calling me a foreign agent, those are fucking fighting words. Excuse me.”

After reviewing the transcript, attorney Berman said it’s clear Jones indicated an intent to harm, under the law. “Regardless of the qualifying language ‘get in my face with that,’ Jones challenges the congressman to arm himself for a physical altercation (‘fill your hand’), and suggests that if the two ever ‘faced off’—which could mean that they were simply in the same room together—the congressman would be assaulted. Jones says that ‘the gloves are off’ and that he [Jones] was the victim of the congressman’s ‘fighting words.’”

Jones has not responded to a request for comment.

Conservative Media’s Kristallnacht in America

FOX News and other right wing racist media now use fake news propaganda to incite neo-Nazi and white supremacist thugs into violence against minority individuals and families.

Who is going to hold the scumbags responsible? They are responsible for thousands of hate crimes since the election.

Perhaps some folks need to consider how to make fake right wing news a little less profitable…

Jewish Family Leaves Town After Conservative Media Blames Them For Christmas Play Cancellation

The school says it absolutely did not cancel the production because of religious complaints.

937a5-fox2bnews2bklan

A Jewish family in Pennsylvania has pulled their child out of school and left town after media outlets across the country ran stories blaming them for the cancellation of a Christmas play.

Local station WHTM reported last week that Centerville Elementary School in Lancaster decided not to put on its production of “A Christmas Carol” this year after two parents complained to the them about the famous line, “God bless us, everyone.” The school had been doing the play for more than 40 years.

But the controversy really took off after conservative outlets including Fox News, Breitbart News and The Blaze picked up the report and gave it national attention.

WHTM said school officials told the news outlet the play was not cancelled because of complaints about that line, although “many parents” believed it was so.

The Fox News commentary piece framed the controversy as part of the so-called “War on Christmas.” “[T]his year, I’m afraid Tiny Tim’s goose has been cooked by the Ghost of Christmas Intolerance,” the article stated.

But the Hempfield School District has vehemently denied this account of why it cancelled the play, and a Jewish family that says it’s being blamed for the controversy is so afraid for their safety they have left the area, at least temporarily. The earlier articles did not identify the parents being blamed as Jewish or identify them by name.

The parents of a fifth grader in the district told LancasterOnline that they never asked for the play to be cancelled or complained about it; they simply asked for their child to be excused and were told that was fine.

But they said since the school announced the cancellation last month, classmates had harassed their child. And after the story broke nationally, the school said it received at least 200 phone calls and emails about the play.

The family said they were disturbed by some of the comments on the conservative outlets’ stories ― including one on the Breitbart story asking for information about the family’s address.

And after a fake news story created an uproar over a pizza place in Washington, D.C. ― which ultimately resulted in a man coming in with an assault rifle to “self-investigate” whether there truly was a child sex ring there ― the family said they didn’t want to risk their safety by sticking around, although they were hoping to be able to come back.

“There’s no way we’re going to take a chance after the pizza incident,” said the parents, who were not named by LancasterOnline.

The Hempfield School District has backed up the family’s account. Officials have posted an FAQ sheet on its website and said the play was absolutely not cancelled because of complaints over the “God bless us” line. Instead, they dropped it because it consumed too much instructional time in the classroom. From the FAQ sheet:

Cops Raid House …Because Man Had Dreds

Guy is at home asleep with his wife and two kids. Suddenly there are flashing lights everywhere and a cop on a bullhorn shouting for him to come out with his hands up….

Cops pull innocent family from home at gunpoint because dad has dreadlocks like murder suspect

An Illinois family was the subject of a racist police raid on Friday as officers were searching for a murder suspect. The police, the DeKalb County sheriff’s deputies, and the Sycamore police showed up at the family home of Eric Nabors and surrounded the place with guns and dogs, according to the Elgin Patch.

The family was in bed when police surrounded their home with rifles and pulled the man and his wife, their son, 10, and daughter, 13 out of their home with their hands up.

The father, Eric, apparently matched the profile of the man they were searching for; however, Nabors was also a victim of racial profiling by police.

He told ABC News, “I stepped out and I took not even three steps out the door, and I see a whole bunch of people running saying, ‘He’s got a gun.’”

He continued, “I didn’t have nothing on me, nothing in my hand, I don’t own a gun. After they searched me, then they told me what they were looking for. ‘We’re looking for a black male suspect with dreads for a possible homicide in DeKalb.’”

Nabors said the police did not believe he was innocent until running his name through their system. His daughter Briana told ABC 7 Chicago, “It’s terrifying to see like all the guns being pointed at me and my family and my brother.”

The kids’ mother Deana Brown told the station, “I feel like it could have been better done. They could have had better intel, they could have had a better description before they put my family through all of this.” The family is now considering whether to file a lawsuit.

Police arrested the two suspects the next day. Both were charged with murder in the first degree and weapons offenses.

In 2016, police have killed a total of 856 people, according to the Guardian‘s The Counted. Of the total victims, 204 are black. Racialized police violence and profiling has been an serious issue facing the country.

The New Civil War Rages in NOLA Over confederate Symbols

The defenders of the flag confederate have responded to the New Orleans City Council plan to move some of the confederate memorials in the city into a historical area or park in the usual manner. Death threats, assaults, burning, and vandalism. Indeed the same sort of actions which led they and their flag to be reviled by peaceful, law abiding, moral people in the first place.

Seems to me there is a fairly simple solution to the problem. Instead of carefully dissembling and moving said monuments…Destroy them. A crane and a wrecking ball, or large excavator can pretty much render said memorials to gravel and metal scrap in a matter of minutes. With the added city benefit of being less than 1/6th the cost of hiring a crew to move the objects.

Removal of Confederate symbols turns ugly in New Orleans

Backlash against a plan to remove prominent Confederate monuments in New Orleans has been tinged by death threats, intimidation and even what may have been the torching of a contractor’s Lamborghini.

For now, at least, things have gotten so nasty the city hasn’t found a contractor willing to bear the risk of tearing down the monuments. The city doesn’t have its own equipment to move them and is now in talks to find a company, even discussing doing the work at night to avoid further tumult.

Initially, it appeared the monuments would be removed quickly after the majority black City Council on Dec. 17 voted 6-1 to approve the mayor’s plan to take them down. The monuments, including towering figures of Gens. Robert E. Lee and P.G.T. Beauregard, have long been viewed by many here as symbols of racism and white supremacy.

The backlash is not surprising to Bill Quigley, a Loyola University law professor and longtime civil rights activist in New Orleans who’s worked on behalf of a group demanding the monuments come down.

The South has seen such resistance before, during fights over school integration and efforts in the early 1990s to racially integrate Carnival parades in New Orleans.

“Fighting in the courts, fighting in the legislature, anonymous intimidation,” Quigley said. “These are from the same deck of cards that are used to stop all social change.”

For all its reputation as a party city of fun and frolic, New Orleans is no stranger to social change and the tensions that come with it. It was the site of an early attempt to challenge racial segregation laws in the Plessy vs. Ferguson case and home to then-6-year-old Ruby Bridges whose battle to integrate her elementary school was immortalized in a Norman Rockwell painting.

New Orleans is a majority African-American city although the number of black residents has fallen since 2005’s Hurricane Katrina drove many people from the city. Mayor Mitch Landrieu, who proposed the monuments’ removal, rode to victory twice with overwhelming support from the city’s black residents.

Nationally, the debate over Confederate symbols has become heated since nine parishioners were killed at a black church in South Carolina in June.South Carolina removed the Confederate flag from its statehouse grounds in the weeks after, and several Southern cities have since considered removing monuments.

“There is no doubt that there is a huge amount of rage over the attack on Confederate symbols,” said Mark Potok with the Southern Poverty Law Center, an Alabama-based group that tracks extremist activity.

His group counted about 360 pro-Confederate battle flag rallies across the nation in the six months after the church shootings. Such rallies were rare before then, he said.

In New Orleans, things have turned particularly ugly.

In early January, as it beat back legal challenges seeking to stop the removal, the city hired a contractor to remove the monuments.

But H&O Investments LLC. of Baton Rouge soon pulled out of the job, citing death threats, “unkindly name-calling,” outrage on social media and the threat of other businesses canceling contracts.

One day, several protesters came while H&O workers took measurements. Some of the protesters wore materials “with affiliation to white supremacy groups,” said Roy Maughan Jr., a lawyer for the contractor.

That same day, Maughan said, “a specific articulated threat” was phoned into city authorities warning workers at the monuments to leave for their safety. On Jan. 12, H&O sent the city a letter saying it was dropping out.

Then, on Jan. 19, a Lamborghini belonging to the owner of H&O Investments was set on fire. The sports car was parked outside his office near Baton Rouge, Maughan said.

A national rental crane company the city had hoped to hire also refused to be involved.

The FBI and local fire investigators declined to comment. No arrests have been made.

Trumpazoid Former Police Chief Arrested for Terrorist Threats

More of the batshit crazy Trump Reich wing…

‘Libtard’-hating ex-police chief accused of pointing gun at woman who passed his Hummer

A former Pennsylvania police chief infamous for his profane video rants — punctuated by gunfire — against “libtards” has been arrested on harassment and terrorist threat charges.

Mark Kessler was charged last week on one misdemeanor count of harassment in connection with an Aug. 19 confrontation with a Frackville borough councilman at a supermarket checkout, reported the Standard Speaker.

Kessler accused the other man, William Creaser, of talking about his daughter, and he said the former Gilberton police chief shoved him in the chest and wagged a finger in his face, police said.

“You better watch your back, I know where you live,” Kessler allegedly told the man.

Creasy said the former officer also pestered him with slanderous emails, and he worried that Kessler might harm him or his family.

Prosecutors charged Kessler with misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct in connection with an Aug. 22 confrontation outside a drug store.

Shannon Heiber said Kessler pulled alongside her began screaming obscenities after she passed his Hummer and pulled into the drug store parking lot.

“What are you doing? You’re lucky my kids are in here or you know what would happen,” Kessler allegedly told the woman.

She said Kessler started to pull away at that point but stopped suddenly, backed up and showed her a firearm he had stashed under his seat.

Heiber said she was still afraid Kessler would harm her because he had acted so violent and angry while his children were riding in his vehicle.

Kessler was fired as police chief by city officials in Gilberton after his video rants went viral.

He later claimed he had produced the videos with a federal government agency to draw out sovereign citizens and other “lone wolves” willing to commit violent acts.

Kessler claims his videos efforts helped investigators interrupt an alleged plot to bomb a federal building by the Georgia-based XXX Minutemen.

Man With Gun Terrorizes Cleveland Neighborhood

Hate to say this…But if the local Rethugs have passed a “Stand Your Ground” Law in Cleveland…Now might be a good time to use it.

Seems to me the Cleveland Police are failing…Again.

Mybe it is time for some o fthe Drug Thugs who are so good at killing each other…Do a Public Service.

Ohio community lives in fear as rifle-toting white man stalks black neighborhoods with impunity

A 25-year-old white man got into an altercation with the black owner of a barbershop on Thursday who objected to him stalking predominantly black neighborhoods carrying a rifle slung across his back, reports Cleveland.com.

Saying he has a right under Ohio’s open carry laws to parade about town carrying his gun, Daniel Kovacevic, 25, has been stopped by police multiple times — including near the University of Akron —  but police say the state’s gun laws have tied their hands despite citizen complaints.

Kovacevic’s actions have roiled  the black community in a state where Tamir Rice and John Crawford were recently shot by police while holding toy weapons.

On Thursday, police were called to break up a confrontation between Kovacevic and local barbershop owner Deone Slater who did not want the man with his rifle hanging out in front of his shop.

“He was a threat to my community,” Slater said. “If I can prevent him from shooting up the city, I would. I won’t condone it. Somebody’s got to stand up.”

Slater said he was yelling profanities at Kovacevic when police arrived, and that Kovacevic said little during the confrontation other than to ask him if he was a Christian.

“I told him to take his guns off. I told him let me have five or 10 minutes with him without his weapons,” Slater said before adding that the police seemed more concerned with him than the man carrying the gun, and that he believes race plays a part in it.

“They (police) were more concerned about me than him, as if I were the threat,” Slater explained. “If it were me with a gun, they would have shut the whole block down.”

“He’s a threat to me and my people. He’s a threat to me.”

Police have been monitoring Kovacevic for days after receiving calls from security at University of Akron that he was seen near the school carrying his rifle.

Social media has been up in arms over Kovacevic after his picture was posted to Twitter (see below) when he was seen near one of Akron’s predominately black high schools.

According to police there is nothing they can do, saying they can ask the open carrier who they are, what they are doing and why they are there — however gun carriers are not required by law to respond.

“You have to be careful because you get into search and seizure issues,” Akron police spokesperson Rick Edwards explained. “You can’t detain them. Ohio isn’t the only state to allow open carry. If you don’t like it, you can talk to your legislators.”

Spurred on By Republican Hate Speech – Muslims Become the New N-Word In America

About 20 years ago, I was doing a project down in Mississippi. My coworker from the client side was a black man, call him Joe (imagine the kind of slow talking, quiet guy that when he says something, it is well worth listening to), and an Iranian who had come to the country after the Shah had fallen. Our Persian co-worker was amazed at the “friendliness” of the white southerners we met, The fact that they spoke, and almost always said hello, please, and Thank You. Joe explained that in the south, manners were a standard by which many people judged themselves and those they met. Didn’t mean they liked you, or wanted to invite you home to join the family. At which out rather dark skinned Persian co-worker declared that Persians were “white”. Joe laughed, and explained…”Down here we got black folks, and we go white folks, and “other”. And ‘other’ in your case is what the rednecks down here call ‘A-Rab’, which means if the isht hits the fan down here…Ain’t nobody coming to help you.”

Since that time, several hundred thousand Muslims have moved to America from other parts of the Middle East, including Iraq. Like any immigrant group to America, they are first met with insensitivity born of ignorance, and then hate, usually followed by grudging respect when the rest of America readjusts their “head” about such group. Doesn’t mean the ethno-racism, or color racism goes away…

Except when Politicians or Political parties make that racism “Acceptable”…

The next thing Muslim immigrants are going to have to realize, is the bigots go after the weak and defenseless, not someone who can fight back. As such, they are going to have to learn the lessons that black folks (and immigrants) learned a long time ago, yet again in protecting women and children.

Muslim student nearly run over by man who called her a terrorist: ‘I’m terrified to cross the street now’

A Muslim pre-med student said she was nearly run over and killed by a man who called her a terrorist.

Haneen Jasim said she was wearing her hijab as she walked home Saturday night from studying at a Starbucks near the University of Cincinnati, reported WLWT-TV.

The 22-year-old student said the driver started honking his horn, cursing and calling her a terrorist as she crossed the street — and then he drove straight toward her and didn’t stop.

Three people walking in front of Jasim grabbed her and pulled her onto the sidewalk just before the car struck her.

“Within an instant he tried to run over me,” Jasim said. “If it wasn’t for the three people in front of me, grabbing me onto the sidewalk, I would have been dead right there.”

Jasim said the man drove away before she could read his license plate number, and she wasn’t sure police could help her without that information.

So she instead called the Council on American Islamic Relations, whose officials said this was the third such incident of anti-Muslim harassment reported in Cincinnati since the Nov. 13 terrorist attacks in Paris.

“It’s very disappointing, as well that people in our community would stoop so low,” said Karen Dabdoub, executive director of the local CAIR chapter. “Obviously, the people here had nothing to do with the Paris attack or any terrorist attacks or terrorist ideology for that matter.”

Dabdoub said a Muslim woman was assaulted in a Kroger parking lot in the city’s Hyde Park neighborhood, and another Musli woman was insulted and spat on by someone in a passing car.

The White Right Strikes Back

Just this week, we have had 3 towheaded troglodyte racists threaten to kill students at Mizzou, a threat to do the same to students at Howard University, a swastika painted onto Bowie State University’s, MLK Student Center, death threats against black students at Michigan Technological University

Obviously, the protests which caught fire at Mizzou, and are now spreading around the country have the bigot set worried. So worried in fact, that bigot in chief, Donald Trump has denounced the demonstrations

Trump said the  demonstrations are “disgusting,” especially after the resignation of “weak, ineffective” campus officials, whom he believes caved to the “crazy” student demands. “Trump should have been the chancellor of that university,” he said. “Believe me, there would have been no resignations.”

Carson told Fox News late Wednesday that “we’re being a little bit too tolerant, I guess you might say, accepting infantile behavior.” He added: “To say that I have the right to violate your civil rights because you’re offending me is un-American. It is unconstitutional,” referring to the communications professor who infamously requested “muscle” to block reporters from accessing protests.

And the right wing press is scurrying to find “dirt”

Let’s look at what these folks are enabling –

For the fourth time this week, a racist threatened to massacre black college students — this time in Michigan

Another person has been arrested for making racist threats against black college students — this time in Michigan.

Police said they took a suspect into custody Thursday afternoon in connection with an anonymous threat posted on social media directed at students at Michigan Technological University, reported The Detroit News.

The university’s Department of Public Safety and Police Services spotted a message posted about noon Thursday on the Yik Yak social media platform and increased security on the Houghton campus.

The person who made the threat vowed he or she was “going to kill all black people,” authorities said.

Police immediately launched an investigation and alerted students of the threat by email.

No information was released about the suspect who was taken into custody several hours later.

The threat is at least the fourth made against black college students this week, after protests over campus racism at the University of Missouri ousted the university president.

Three Missouri men have been arrested and charged with terrorist threats, and authorities are investigating a racist threat made Wednesday against students at the historically black Howard University.

The threats follow two separate strings of suspicious fires earlier this year at mostly black churches in the southeast and then in the St. Louis area, following the shooting deaths of nine black worshipers at a historic black church in South Carolina by a white supremacist and the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests in Ferguson.

Michigan Tech is a research university located in the Upper Peninsula, and only about 1.3 percent of the school’s nearly 7,000 students are black, according to Forbes.

“It’s important to remember that we are a community and will not tolerate threats to any member of our family,” said Michigan Tech President Glenn Mroz. “It’s time we watch out for one another.”

Yik Yak, an anonymous, geographically oriented social media network, has grown popular as a message board for college students — but the company turns over user information without a subpoena, court order or search warrant during investigations of violence or threats.

Chicago Church Removes BLM Message after Death Threats to Parishoners Children

Yeah…You read that heading right, The Kluxxer conservatives threatened to kill the children in a Church in Chicago – because the Church posted a message about BLM.

Social media pressure forces Beverly church to remove Black Lives Matter message

Members of a church in Chicago’s Beverly community wanted to get folks talking about race relations when they posted a “Black Lives Matter” message on the electronic sign outside the church.

They achieved their goal, and then some.

Because of harsh negative responses — including some threats of physical harm to the church’s children — on its Facebook page, the Beverly Unitarian Church on Wednesday removed the week-old message, replacing it with a more generic one — “Life Matters, Risk Loving Everyone.”

Church Trustee Linda Cooper, a church member since 1977, said the original message “was supposed to start a conversation here, and I guess we succeeded. We were quite surprised. We did receive some positive responses on Facebook as well as some extremely nasty ones as well as some threats.”

She said the positive messages were outnumbered by those that considered “Black Lives Matter” as racist and promoting an anti-police message.

That could not be further from the truth, Cooper said. She said the church’s national association in June voted to use the slogan as a way to affirm the work of the “Black Lives Matter” movement, which draws attention to violence against blacks.

“It didn’t mean that other lives didn’t matter. It means exactly the opposite, that all lives matter,” Cooper said. “Some people framed the message as being anti-white or anti-police. That was not our message at all. So that’s unfortunate.

“It does make you wonder what’s going on, especially in a (community) like ours where people of different races live together and where we have a large number of police officers living. It’s an interesting dynamic.”

Ald. Matt O’Shea, 19th Ward, said he was appalled by the hateful comments that were posted about the church’s sign and believes most of them did not come from Beverly residents. He pointed out that the church, 10244 S. Longwood Drive, has been in Beverly for 75 years.

“They were calling attention to an issue they believe in, and it somehow got turned into a negative,” O’Shea said. “It’s unfortunate. It’s one thing to disagree with something, but when you start making threats, that’s a whole different area. I assure you the 22nd Police District is taking those threats seriously.”

He acknowledged that it may be difficult to identify those who made the threats given the anonymity provided by social media.

“Cowards,” he said, “typically raise their heads in darkness.”

After the message was removed, a posting on the church’s Facebook page reads, “We have made an effort to listen deeply to your responses and we ask all of you to step back and do the same. How would you answer this question: For too long being black has meant being less than; how do we change this in our community? We look forward to the conversation.

“If all life matters, then paying attention to those whose lives are demonstrably less valued by society becomes a necessary response. As Universalists, we believe that all life is equally precious and everyone should have the right to thrive in an environment of peace and freedom,” the posting says.

On Thursday, passers-by had mixed thoughts on the sign controversy.

Helen Pelvic, 38, of Beverly, who is white, thought the original message conveyed the notion that perhaps black lives mattered more than others.

“It shouldn’t be a color. It should be that lives matter,” she said.

Raymond Jackson, 60, is black and was not offended that the original message was removed.

“It’s not black and white. It’s about a relationship with God. God created man. He didn’t’ say anything about black or white,” Jackson said. “All lives matter. All lives.”

Brennan Machined, 29, of Beverly, who is white, said the message “specifying (race) does isolate the community but points out a distinction,” adding that he thinks the “Black Lives Matter” movement draws needed attention to a national problem.

Retired schoolteacher Peggy Salter, 65, who is black, said the message was “not about saying other lives don’t matter but (drew) attention to the fact that so many young black men and women are dying. The church is about peace and bringing the community together.”

Black Couple Threatened And Harassed by Neighbor …Sues

Family moves into house. Neighbor subjects them to slurs and racist threats. Neighbor threatens them with a gun…

Neighbor resists arrest by Police, and is charged with a Misdemeanor…

Special laws for “special” people?

Gregory and Sophia Bonds

Black couple uses housing law to sue over slurs, threats

Citing a sliver of civil rights-era legislation more commonly used as protection against discriminatory landlords, a black couple is suing their former neighbor and a north Georgia city they say failed to stop him from harassing them.

Gregory and Sophia Bonds say the slurs and threats began the day they moved into the brick ranch rental home in a well-kept neighborhood in Gainesville, northeast of Atlanta, back in February 2012.

Roy Turner Jr., the white neighbor who worked for the city’s solid waste department, verbally assaulted them whenever he saw them outside, including sometimes while he was working, the couple contends. He also sometimes walked and made sounds like an ape when he saw them, the Bonds family asserts in a lawsuit filed last month against Turner and the city.

Turner told The Associated Press he wasn’t aware of the lawsuit but that he never threatened anyone.

“I said ‘porch monkey,'” he said with a chuckle. “That’s just a joking-around term.”

Gainesville Mayor Danny Dunagan said he couldn’t comment on pending litigation.

The lawsuit details more than a dozen specific instances of alleged harassment. Gregory Bonds said the final straw came in May: The family had company and Turner came out into his yard with a baseball bat and began hitting a tree aggressively and yelling more slurs. The family moved the next month.

They cite a provision of the federal Fair Housing Act of 1968 and a nearly identical section of Georgia law that says it’s illegal to coerce, intimidate, threaten or interfere with someone who is exercising or enjoying any right guaranteed by that law. Conceived to protect against violent actions such as cross burnings, bombs or other physical attacks, it also applies to verbal attacks, said Robert Schwemm, a law professor at the University of Kentucky who has decades of experience with the Fair Housing Act.

“It’s specifically a separate section of the statute that was designed to apply to people who were not housing providers — neighbors and others,” Schwemm said.

That provision isn’t used very often against neighbors in the modern era, Schwemm said. He’s aware of one or two cases a year but said there are likely others he doesn’t hear about.

Schwemm said he’s never heard of a case that sought to hold a municipality accountable for a neighbor’s actions.

Gregory and Sophia Bonds had saved money to move out of an apartment into a house so their three teenage children would have a yard for the first time and would have more space to invite their friends over, their lawyer Ashley Bell said. Turner’s behavior violated fair housing statutes that bar discrimination on the basis of a variety of factors when people are renting, buying or seeking financing for housing, the lawsuit says.

The city’s knowledge of Turner’s actions, many of which occurred while he was a city employee, and its failure to curb them make it liable for them, the family argues. Roy Turner Mug Shot

City records show some steps were taken against Turner, but the Bonds family says it wasn’t enough.

Sophia Bonds first called police in March 2012, about a month after they moved in, and told an officer Turner regularly hurled racial slurs at them. She said she was afraid of him, according to a police report. Turner told the officer he wouldn’t use words like that because he was a city employee, the report says.

A month later, on April 19, 2012, Turner and Gregory Bonds exchanged words outside before Turner went into his house and reappeared at his back door with a loaded rifle that he pointed at Gregory Bonds, the couple told police.

After a standoff lasting several hours, officers entered the home and forcibly removed Turner, using a stun gun on him when he refused to obey their commands, police reports say.

Turner pleaded guilty a month later to a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge. The judge ordered him to pay a $200 fine and to serve 12 months on probation with extra conditions: no violence or insults toward the Bonds family, no weapons on his property and no drinking or possessing hard liquor.

The Bonds family was frustrated that Turner only faced a misdemeanor charge, said Bell, their lawyer. Hall County Solicitor General Stephanie Woodard, whose office prosecuted Turner, said she understood that frustration.

“I was greatly outraged at the behavior that Roy Turner exhibited and at the behavior that this family and their children endured,” she said, adding that her office can only prosecute misdemeanors and the district attorney had declined to bring felony charges.

Turner was in a car crash in the 1970s that left him with a traumatic brain injury that caused mental impairment and altered his behavior, said Dunagan, the mayor, who grew up with Turner and said he never knew him to be violent. A group of friends watches out for Turner and helps him live as independently as possible, two of them told Woodard before Turner’s sentencing.

Woodard detected some cognitive disconnect when speaking to Turner, but she said she still believed Turner was capable of controlling himself.

Woodard said she believes the city’s police handled him properly, sending in a SWAT team and using force to arrest him.

Turner landed back in court for probation violations several times. After his probation officer said Turner continued to insult the Bonds family, the judge ordered him not to drink or possess any alcohol, to submit to random alcohol testing, to allow police to enter his home randomly to make sure there were no guns and to have no contact with the Bonds family, court records show.

Turner had worked for the city’s solid waste department since October 1992. In recent years, he worked as a garbage collector and had a string of run-ins with customers and co-workers, according to city personnel records. There’s a record in his personnel file of a call from Sophia Bonds a few days after his arrest asking that Turner not work the route that included her house.

The city suspended him following his arrest in April 2012. After he was sentenced to probation, he was allowed to return to work but was warned not to have arguments or to use derogatory language.

After numerous confrontations with co-workers and the public, Turner was fired Oct. 23.
