Exceptionally Stupid Republican

Yeah Buddy, how about a free order of Size 13 up the wazoo!

GOP candidate offers Harlem residents free KFC and watermelon — they offer him ‘a foot in the ass’

Republican New York State Senate candidate Jon Girodes (Screen cap).

A Republican candidate for New York’s state senate is taking heat after he promised to give out free fried chicken and watermelon to people who attended one of his campaign events in Harlem.

NBC 4 New York reports that Jon Girodes, the Republican candidate for New York’s 30th District, told the news station that he planned to hand out “Kool-Aid, KFC and watermelons” to people who attended a Harlem campaign rally in the coming weeks.

Harlem, of course, is a majority black neighborhood, and watermelons and fried chicken are two foods that are used to stereotype black Americans. All the same, Girodes doesn’t think there’s anything offensive about his stunt since people in the neighborhood should be grateful that they’re getting free food.

“What I think is anyone who gives free food to people is doing them a favor,” Girodes told NBC 4 New York’s I-Team. “Get a bunch of people who say it’s offensive and let me go into their neighborhood and give it out for free and see if they take it.”

Harlem residents, for their part, were not flattered by Girodes’s supposedly generous offer.

“It’s racist,” Harlem resident Tyrone Nero told the news station. “Whoever he is, I think he should go back in whatever hole he crawled in and have a great life.”

“It’s more than an insult and anybody with any sense would see that’s pathetically racist and insulting,” said Harlem resident Scott Randolph.

Meanwhile, another resident responded to Girodes’s “donation” of food by offering to “donate various foots in his ass.”

Faux News Follies! A Racist, a Moron, and a Liar

First up…Newly unemployed Faux News bigot.

Fox Sports reporter attacks Latina valedictorian: ‘I didn’t know Mexicans were that smart’

Reporter Emily Austen has been taken off the air by Fox Sports after she was caught on video making racist comments about Mexican, Jewish and Chinese people.

While participating in a Facebook video broadcast for Barstool Sports, the 27-year-old sports reporter and others appearing on the show mocked 18-year-old Mayte Lara Ibarra, who recently revealed that she was her high school’s valedictorian and an undocumented immigrant.

“I didn’t even know Mexicans were that smart,” Austen quipped to her co-hosts during the Barstool Sports broadcast.

She also asserted that “the Chinese guy is always the smartest guy in math class” and that Jewish people are “stingy.”

As a result of the tirade, Fox Sports said that Austen, who is a contract employee, would not be participating in future broadcasts.

“We were made aware that Emily Austen appeared in a social media video unaffiliated with Fox Sports in which she made insensitive and derogatory comments,” Fox Sports Florida General Manager Steve Tello said in a statement. “She was not speaking on behalf of Fox Sports, nor do we condone any of the statements she made in the video. Emily has been advised that her comments were unacceptable, and she is not scheduled to appear on any upcoming Fox Sports Florida or Fox Sports Sun broadcasts.”

Then there is Geraldo, whose IQ level has devolved every minute he has spent on Faux…Suggesting the Orlando victims were cowards.

On ‘Fox and Friends,’ Geraldo Rivera says Orlando victims didn’t fight for their lives

On Monday morning, Fox News commentator Geraldo Rivera appeared on Fox and Friends and took the opportunity to criticize the victims of Saturday night’sterrorist attack on the LGBT club Pulse in Orlando, Florida.

Media Matters reported that Rivera said, “When you’re in that situation and you have no weapons, you have two choices. If you can’t hide and you can’t run, you have two choices. You stay and die, or you fight. For God’s sakes, fight back. Fight back.”

He continued, “There’s 100 people that he murdered with one weapon that he reloaded. When he reloaded they must, people must, America must understand, we are at war with Islamic terror, with these terrorists. We’ve got to stop them in Raqqa, we’ve got to stop them in Mosul, and we’ve got to stop them in the Pulse, Orlando.”

Rivera’s charge that the crowd didn’t display proper courage and determination neglects to bear in mind that research has shown that mass shooter scenarios are completely chaotic situations where even experienced tactical personnel have been known to freeze or become disoriented.

Law enforcement officials and safety experts say that the smartest course of action in any active shooter situation is to escape the area as quickly as possible.

Failing at everything else, it’s the old standby lying – “It’s Obama’s fault!”

Fox wrongly reports that Obama wants to ban armored helmet that saved cop’s life in Orlando

As police stormed the Pulse nightclub in Orlando early Sunday morning, the shooter fired at a police officer wearing a Kevlar helmet. While the officer was harmed, he survived — and his helmet saved his life.

In an interview with former New York City Police Department detective and a media personality, Bo Dietl, “Fox and Friends” co-host Steve Doocy asked why the Obama administration was “pushing to take away life-saving armor,” Media Matters reports.

The fact is, neither the Kevlar helmet nor the BearCat vehicle used to punch through the wall of the club to allow police access to the scene are on the list of prohibited police equipment created in May 2015. The order aimed to keep local police departments from buying some items with federal dollars.

“And yet, it wasn’t that long ago where we heard a number of people from the political left say, ‘You know what, the local police departments have too much heavy artillery. We really have to take that stuff away from them,’” he said.

Fox News has yet to clarify the error to its audience. It’s unclear how a former police detective like Dietl also doesn’t have the facts on equipment.

Disturbing Photo of Lynching at Popular Restaraunt

Yet another one for clueless (and/or racist) white folks who flunked morality training.

One – this is a public restaurant. I really don’t want my children exposed to something as grotesque as a hanging. Goes along with why pictures of dead bodies aren’t on the kiddies flash card set.

Two – The subject in this picture was a black man. The hanging was in Texas in 1895…’Nuf said. We well know about the slim to no connection between a black man committing a crime and actually having done a crime in Texas in the late 19th Century.

One would sincerely hope that this item isn’t on the list of franchise decor distributed to all of Joe’s Crab Shack franchisees. Regardless of the racial connotations, whomever placed such in a Family Restaurant ought to be standing at the end of a long long unemployment line about now.

This photo of a black man’s public hanging decorated a Joe’s Crab Shack table

Tyrone Williams and Chauntyll Allen said they went to Joe’s Crab Shack in Roseville, Minn., on Wednesday night for a friend’s early birthday dinner when they looked down at their table and saw it: a photograph, embedded inside of the table, depicting the public hanging of a black man.

“It had a cartoon character saying, ‘All I said was “I didn’t like the gumbo,’” in a joking manner,” Williams said at a news conference Thursday.

“I’m appalled,” Allen said at the news conference, organized by the Minneapolis NAACP. “I don’t understand why they think this is some kind of joke, the trauma we endured on our black body.”

Williams snapped a photo of the image titled “Hanging at Groesbeck, Texas on April 12, 1895″ and contacted the Minneapolis chapter of the civil rights organization.

Ignite Restaurant Group, Joe’s Crab Shack’s parent company, has since apologized for what it described as an offensive photo.

“We take this matter very seriously, and the photo in question was immediately removed,” Ignite Chief Operating Officer David Catalano said in a statement, KARE reported. “We sincerely apologize to our guests who were disturbed by the image, and we look forward to continuing to serve the Roseville community.”

While pleased that the photo was removed from the Roseville restaurant, Minneapolis NAACP president Nekima Levy-Pounds said in an interview Friday that “there are broader concerns about whether that type of racist decor exists in other Joe’s Crab Shack locations.”

“We have not seen a commitment from Ignite Restaurant Group that they will examine the decor in all of its restaurants and remove racist material,” Levy-Pounds told The Washington Post.

Williams and Allen alerted the Roseville manager of the photo soon after they saw it.

“He was apologetic and understanding,” Williams said. But the pair already felt “sick, confused,” and left the restaurant.

The scene depicted in the Joe’s Crab Shack table was the public hanging of Richard Burleson, a black man, who was convicted of murdering J.G. McKinnon, a white man.

30% of Republican Want to Bomb Disney’s Alladin

I think if the Democrats/Progressives want to win in this country, then all they have to do is to pass a law requiring a minimum IQ to vote.

Poll: 30 percent of GOP voters support bombing any Arab sounding nation — even the fictional land of Aladdin

According to a new Public Policy Polling (PPP) poll, 30 percent of Republican primary voters nationally support bombing Agrabah, the made up home of Disney’s Aladdin, and 34 percent support Donald Trump for president.

Of course, Trump leads the crowded pack of GOP presidential wannabes overall with a whopping 34 percent support nationally. His nearest rival, Ted Cruz, stands at 18 percent. Of those Republicans who would like to bomb the fictional land of Aladdin, support for Trump is at 45 percent. To their credit, 57 percent of Republicans at least responded that they weren’t sure if the U.S. should bomb the Arab sounding land while 13 percent opposed a bombing campaign in the Disney created nation.

Surprisingly, self-identified Tea Party members only accounted for 16 percent of respondents of the survey conducted over two days this week while half of all respondents identified as Evangelical Christians.

More than a quarter indicated that they would like to outright ban the religion of Islam from being practiced in the U.S. That number jumped to 42 percent of Trump supporters who think Islam should be illegal. Another 46 percent of Republican voters support a national Muslim registry although for 47 percent, shutting down all mosques is a bridge too far.

54 percent of all Republican primary voters support Trump’s call to ban all Muslims from entering the United States, while 36 percent believe Trump’s claims that thousands of Muslims in New Jersey were cheering from the rooftops on 9/11.

The full poll, which features a stunning Ben Carson drop to 6 percent support nationally, illustrates just how extreme the base of the Republican party has gotten. The only area in which the Republican presidential candidates appear to be more extreme than their base is, unsurprisingly, on a specific gun control issue. 80 percent of Republican primary voters support banning individuals on the terror watch list from purchasing firearms. The Republican party, however, has staunchly opposed the effort at the directive of the NRA.

About that Dumb Assed Border Wall

Millions of illegal immigrants flooded over the border to the US because of jobs. George W Bush and the Republican Reprobates took care of that problem. Since 2007, those folks – faced with unemployment – have been going home.

Unless you expect Syrian Refugees to cut grass and hang drywall for a living…Rethugs better be building that wall to keep them here.

More Mexicans Leaving Than Coming to the U.S.

More Mexican immigrants have returned to Mexico from the U.S. than have migrated here since the end of the Great Recession, according to a new Pew Research Center analysis of newly available government data from both countries. The same data sources also show the overall flow of Mexican immigrants between the two countries is at its smallest since the 1990s, mostly due to a drop in the number of Mexican immigrants coming to the U.S.

From 2009 to 2014, 1 million Mexicans and their families (including U.S.-born children) left the U.S. for Mexico, according to data from the 2014 Mexican National Survey of Demographic Dynamics (ENADID). U.S. census data for the same period show an estimated 870,000 Mexican nationals left Mexico to come to the U.S., a smaller number than the flow of families from the U.S. to Mexico.

Measuring migration flows between Mexico and the U.S. is challenging because there are no official counts of how many Mexican immigrants enter and leave the U.S. each year. This report uses the best available government data from both countries to estimate the size of these flows. The Mexican data sources — a national household survey, and two national censuses — asked comparable questions about household members’ migration to and from Mexico over the five years previous to each survey or census date. In addition, estimates of Mexican migration to the U.S. come from U.S. Census Bureau data, adjusted for undercount, on the number of Mexican immigrants who live in the U.S….Read the Rest Here

Trevor Noah – Ben Carson – Rupert Murdoch

Ow! That one is going to leave a mark!

Meanwhile uber old white guy declares Ben Carson’s authenticity as a black man…

Rupert Murdoch tweeted that Ben Carson would make a good president in a peculiar way. “Ben and Candy Carson terrific. What about a real black President who can properly address the racial divide? And much else,” he wrote Wednesday, suggesting that President Obama is not that. The media mogul’s comments sparked a firestorm online, to which he later responded by recommending a New York magazine article asking whether Obama had done enough to support the black community.

Santorum – Stuck on Stupid

Santorum: Calif. Schools Don’t Teach US History

Rick Santorum continued hisverbal assault on higher education today by accusing California universities of failing to “even teach an American history course.” The GOP candidate slammed UC universities during a speech in Wisconsin, Mediaite reports, saying that “I think it’s seven or eight” schools that neglect US history: “Just to tell you how bad it’s gotten in this country, where we’re trying to disconnect the American people from the roots of who we are, so they have an understanding of what America should be.”

But a University of California rep emailedThinkProgress to say that all UC undergraduate programs require US history credits. According to Mediaite, only the San Francisco campus fails to offer US history courses—because it’s a medical school. Perhaps Santorum is on a roll after calling President Obama “a snob” for wanting “everybody in America to go to college.” He’s not alone among Republicans, however: Mitt Romney has taken a whack at higher education by pooh-poohing the notion of student aid.
