Another Chumph Lie About Obama Implodes At John Kelly’s Family Expense

Another of the POS Chumph lies, this one embarassing his Chief of Staff John Kelly

The Chumph’s lie – that no other President had called the parents or spouses of our servicemen who had died in the line of duty.

This is not only criminally embarrassing to John Kelly and his family but shows a complete lack of empathy for this honorable man and his family’s feelings to be used as props for the POS’s lies.

The Plastic Patriots waiving their little flags in their false support of our Military who don’t have a problem with this or support the Chumph need to outed for the hypocritical POS’s they are.

John Kelly and his wife sat with Michelle Obama at Gold Star family gathering after son’s death: report

President Donald Trump politicized the death of his chief of staff’s son to slur his predecessor — and it appears he may not be telling the whole truth.

Trump claimed Monday that President Barack Obama did not call the families of slain service members, and he suggested Tuesday that the former president had disrespected retired Gen. John Kelly by neglecting to call when his Marine son was killed.

“You could ask General Kelly if he got a call from Obama,” Trump said.

It’s not clear that Obama offered condolences to Kelly by phone, but CNN’s Jeff Zeleny said the retired general and his wife joined first lady Michelle Obama at her table during a White House breakfast for Gold Star families in 2011.

Gen. Kelly and wife attended Gold Star families breakfast at WH in 2011 and sat at Mrs. Obama’s table, person familiar with breakfast says.

The Associated Press confirmed that White House visitor logs showed that the Kelly family attended the event.

“President Obama engaged families of the fallen and wounded warriors throughout his presidency through calls, letters, visits to [Arlington Cemetery], visits to Walter Reed, visits to Dover, and regular meetings with Gold Star families at the White House and across the country,” a former White House official told Politico.

Second Lt. Robert Kelly was killed at age 29 while leading a platoon in Afghanistan in November 2010, and his father delivered a speech four days later about military sacrifices and the troops’ growing isolation from society.

His father has largely avoided speaking publicly about his family’s loss since then, and asked the Marine Corps officer who introduced him ahead of that impassioned speech not to mention his son.

“We are only one of 5,500 American families who have suffered the loss of a child in this war,” Kelly told the Washington Post six years ago. “The death of my boy simply cannot be made to seem any more tragic than the others.”

Damn! But Thanks Anyway. Wife Whacks KKK Leader

Gotta appreciate the efforts of those self eradicating white supremacist types…

Wife, stepson charged in slaying of Missouri KKK leader

The wife and stepson of a Ku Klux Klan leader who was found fatally shot next to a river in eastern Missouri have been charged with murder, reports CBS affiliate KMOV.

Malissa Ancona, 44, and her son, Paul Edward Jinkerson Jr., 24, have each been charged with abandonment of a corpse, first-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence, reports the station.

A family that was fishing found the body of 51-year-old Frank Ancona on Saturday, along the Big River near the tiny town of Belgrade, about 80 miles southwest of St. Louis. An autopsy conducted Sunday revealed he died of a gunshot to the head.

According to a probable cause statement obtained by KMOV, Ancona was shot and killed while inside his bedroom, allegedly by Jinkerson Jr. After the shooting, Ancona’s body was placed in Jinkerson’s vehicle and dumped in Belgrade.

The Park Hills Daily Journal said investigators placed yellow police tape around Ancona’s home in Leadwood Saturday. His safe had been broken into and the contents removed. Several of Ancona’s guns were missing, police told the Daily Journal.

According to police, when they searched Ancona’s home, they found “extensive blood evidence” in the master bedroom, KMOV reports.

Malissa Ancona allegedly told police her son, Jinkerson Jr., killed Ancona while he was asleep. She also allegedly said she didn’t file a police report, and attempted to destroy and hide evidence, the station reports.

Not what she meant, but … “Make this world a better place…”

A Pardon for Marcus Garvey?

Nearly 100 years ago, Marcus Garvey was the central figure in a black self-help movement though the Universal Negro Improvement Association. He would champion “Back to Africa”, and actually start a steamship line. Unquestionably, Garvey was an early target of J. Edgar Hoover’s racism.

Marcus Garvey’s son wants President Obama to pardon his famous father. Time is running out.

Julius Garvey

Julius Garvey, the son of black nationalist Marcus Garvey, is pacing the lobby of a Washington hotel. His collar is starched. His glasses polished. He holds a stack of fliers displaying photos of his famous father under a headline that reads, “The Exoneration of Marcus Garvey.”

Julius Garvey, an 83-year-old vascular surgeon, is on a mission to clear his father’s name, tarnished by a 1923 federal mail-fraud conviction that he believes was bogus. He wants the country’s first African American president to pardon the fiery founder of the Universal Negro Improvement Association. Marcus Garvey, who died in 1940, led a “back to Africa” campaign that made him a seminal figure in the push for racial and economic justice for black people.

“My father was central to the civil rights movement in the early 20th century,” said Julius Garvey, who lives on Long Island. “His organization was the dominant civil rights organization. It shaped the thinking of that part of the century. It gave birth to the Harlem Renaissance. Black is beautiful — my father was the basis for that ideology.”

Marcus Garvey’s activism is chronicled in the Smithsonian’s new National Museum of African American History and Culture. His son was among the 7,000 dignitaries, celebrities and elected officials who were invited to the museum’s opening, where President Obama spoke about the nation’s history of racial oppression.

Marcus Garvey, 1924

The Obama administration rejected a posthumous pardon for Marcus Garvey five years ago. And Julius Garvey says he knows that time is running out, both for him and for Obama’s tenure in the White House.

“It’s urgent from the point of view of this president, because his term is up,” Garvey says. “The point is the injustice has been allowed to sit for [almost] 100 years. It is a continuing injustice that needs to be corrected.”

Marcus Mosiah Garvey was an immigrant from Jamaica who had already foundedthe Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA) when he arrived in the United States in 1916. Eventually, the UNIA claimed millions of members around the world — although those figures remain in dispute.

In 1918, Garvey established the Negro World newspaper and a year later bought an auditorium in Harlem. He called it Liberty Hall, where thousands flocked to hear him speak.

“Black people are subjects of ostracism,” Garvey said in 1921 to thunderous applause. “It is sad that our humanity has shown us no more love — no greater sympathy than we are experiencing. Wheresoever you go throughout the world, the black man is discarded as ostracized, as relegated to the lowest of things — social, political and economical.”

Garvey preached that the problem could be solved only through black pride and self-reliance.

In 1921, the UNIA elected Garvey “President of Africa.” In an iconic photo, Garvey and UNIA members marched through the streets of Harlem in military uniforms, carrying banners that read “We Want a Black Civilization.”

To ferry black people and cargo to Africa, Garvey launched a steamship line, which he called the Black Star Line. The company sold stock for $5 a share, allowing black people to own a piece of the steamship.

This sale, along with Garvey’s rhetoric and following, attracted government attention. Soon after World War I, Garvey was targeted by future FBI director J. Edgar Hoover — as part of a “lifelong obsession to neutralize the rise of a black liberator,” Julius Garvey said.

In documents released later, the FBI acknowledged that it began investigating Garvey to find reasons to “deport him as an undesirable alien.”…Read the Rest Here

Tough Baltimore Mom Who Snatched Son From Riots Is Losing Her Home

The tough Baltimore Mom caught on video last year giving her 16 year old son a few whacks and a talking to, and taking him home when she caught his participating the the post-Freddy Gray riot last year has hit a rough spot. Looks like she and her 6 kid may be out on the street due to a house fire.

Mom praised for pulling son from Freddie Gray protests may lose her home

Toya Graham is no stranger to fighting battles, most notably, the one involving her 17-year-old son, Michael Singleton, more than a year ago in April 2015, CBS Baltimore affiliate WJZ reported.

In the midst of the unrest in Baltimore after the death of Freddie Gray, Graham spotted her then-16-year-old son and forced him out of the chaos between police and dozens of teens. Video of the encounter went viral, and Graham received national attention and even support from the president.

This time around, Graham’s battle is finding a place for her and her family to live.

The kitchen to the home where Graham and her family of six have lived since April caught fire Saturday afternoon while her son, who is now home from the program Job Corps, was cooking.

The son, Michael Singleton, says he was warming up a pot of cooking oil when he left for just a few minutes to go to the bathroom just off the kitchen. When he returned, he said, “The pot is smoking, it was like smoking, so I went to go reach for it and then it burst out into flames.”

Singleton says he first alerted the neighbors that there was a fire.

“My sister was actually coming through the door. So I was telling her, ‘It’s a fire right now,’” he said.

“My daughter started calling me on FaceTime and I can see her actually coming into the house and she was screaming, ‘Ma, your house is on fire, your house is on fire,’” Graham said.

Graham says she came home to find no one was hurt, but now the family can’t stay in their home.

After four days staying in a hotel provided by the Red Cross, those funds are running out, and this time, Graham says she needs help.

“It’s a lot to have to put your personal out there for the world to see,” she said.

With no electricity to the home and no insurance, Graham says she wonders if her landlord, who recently renovated the kitchen, will kick her and her family out.

“So if he tells me, ‘Ms. Graham, I need you to leave my premises,’ I don’t know what we’re going to do,” she said.

Graham and her family have set up a GoFundMe page to help with housing and the loss of food and household items during the fire.

Update: The GoFundMe page set up for Graham’s family has raised $34,600 by midday. The aftermath of the kitchen fire is shown in this photo:

Adrian Peterson’s Son Murdered

Most times in professional sports when you see a player’s name in the headlines for something other than the game they play – it is bad news of the player’s own making.

This brutal tragedy, isn’t.

I don’t know how Peterson is dealing with this, or how anyone in the same situation could, but I think it is fair to say everyone’s heart goes out to him and his family in this tragedy.

Adrian Peterson’s Son Dies After Allegedly Being Assaulted

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson mourned the death of his young son Friday, while words of support poured in from all corners of the sports world.

Authorities said a 2-year-old boy died Friday of injuries suffered in an alleged child abuse case in South Dakota, and a person with knowledge of the situation told The Associated Press the boy was Peterson’s son.

Lincoln County State’s Attorney Tom Wollman confirmed the death of the child, who had been in critical condition in a hospital with severe head injuries since Wednesday. The boy died at 11:43 a.m. at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls after being removed from life support, Wollman said.

Wollman said he’ll review police and medical reports before making further decisions about criminal charges, possibly by early next week. Joseph Patterson, 27, was charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery in the child’s death. He had a court appearance Friday and was ordered held on $750,000 cash bond.

Peterson declined to talk about the case after practice Friday, and prosecutors and police in South Dakota declined to confirm the boy was his son. However, a person with knowledge of the situation confirmed the connection to the AP on condition of anonymity because Peterson had requested privacy.

Speaking to reporters about an hour after the time of death, Peterson said he was certain he’ll play Sunday against Carolina.

He smiled politely and spoke softly while taking questions at his locker.
“I’ll be ready to roll, focused,” Peterson said. “I will be playing Sunday, without a doubt.”

Peterson is second in the NFL with 421 yards rushing and first in the league with five touchdowns. He came back from reconstructive knee surgery to rush for 2,097 yards and win the league MVP award last season.

“Football is something I will always fall back on,” Peterson said. “It gets me through tough times. Just being around the guys in here, that’s what I need in my life, guys supporting me. … Things that I go through, I’ve said a thousand times, it helps me play this game to a different level. I’m able to kind of release a lot of my stress through this sport, so that’s what I plan on doing.”

Later Friday, after news of the boy’s death spread, Peterson thanked his family, fans and even fans of other NFL teams for their support.

Joseph Patterson, the accused has a history of domestic abuse and battery charges. Patterson was indicted in June 2012 on several counts of simple assault involving an ex-girlfriend and her 3-year-old son, according to the Argus Leader. Patterson was later charged for violating a no-contact order. He was sentenced to one year in jail for both cases but that time was suspended on the condition he attend domestic violence counseling. The victim in that case said in a request for a protection order that Patterson had spanked her 3-year-old so hard for misbehaving in church that he needed ice for welts on his buttocks, according to the Argus Leader.

He tweeted: “The NFL is a fraternity of brothers and I am thankful for the tweets, phone calls and text messages from my fellow players.”

Dozens of current and former professional athletes wished Peterson well on Twitter, expressing support, offering prayers and voicing disgust about the alleged abuse.

“Sick for my friend. Strong guy but this one will bring the strongest down,” tweeted NBA star LeBron James.

The Panthers, this week’s opponent, were sympathetic.

“It’s absolutely terrible. Our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family, and hopefully things work out,” coach Ron Rivera said.

Vikings coach Leslie Frazier said he thought Peterson practiced as well as he could Friday considering the circumstance.

“He seems like he was into it, engaged in what he had to get done,” Frazier said. “Obviously, tough. He’s human. But he was into it mentally, best as he could be.”

Fellow running back Toby Gerhart said: “It’s hard for any man to admit that he’s hurting or he needs help or anything like that. For us to be around him and tell him we’ve got his back, if there’s anything he needs that we’re there for him, I think that goes a long way.”
