Proof Treason an Collusion With Russia Runs Deeper in the Republican Party Than Trump

Yet another Republican …Yet another Putin’s Bitch.

The reason Republicans won’t move to impeach the Chumph is a lot of them are involved in Treason as well. More than just the Chumph are sold out to the Russians.

GOP Lawmaker Got Direction From Moscow, Took It Back to D.C.

After being given a secret document by officials in Moscow, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher sought to alter sanctions legislation and tried to set up a virtual show trial on Capitol Hill.

Members of the team of Russians who secured a June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Donald Trump Jr. and Jared Kushner also attempted to stage a show trial of anti-Putin campaigner Bill Browder on Capitol Hill.

The trial, which would have come in the form of a congressional hearing, was scheduled for mid-June 2016 by Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA), a long-standing Russia ally who chairs the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Europe. During the hearing, Rohrabacher had planned to confront Browder with a feature-length pro-Kremlin propaganda movie that viciously attacks him—as well as at least two witnesses linked to the Russian authorities, including lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.

Ultimately, the hearing was canceled when senior Republicans intervened and agreed to allow a hearing on Russia at the full committee level with a Moscow-sympathetic witness, according to multiple congressional aides.

An email reviewed by The Daily Beast shows that before that June 14 hearing, Rohrabacher’s staff received pro-Kremlin briefings against Browder, once Russia’s biggest foreign investor, and his tax attorney Sergei Magnitsky from a lawyer who was working with Veselnitskaya.

Although House Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Ed Royce (R-CA) had prohibited Rohrabacher from showing the Russian propaganda film in Congress, Rohrabacher’s Capitol Hill office still actively promoted a screening of the movie that was held at the Newseum in Washington, D.C., on June 13, 2016. Veselnitskaya was one of those handling the movie’s worldwide promotion.

Invitations to attend the movie screening were sent from the subcommittee office by Catharine O’Neill, a Republican intern on Rohrabacher’s committee. Her email promised that the movie would convince viewers that Magnitsky, who was murdered in a Russian prison cell, was no hero.

The invite, reviewed by The Daily Beast, claimed that the film “explodes the common view that Mr. Magnitsky was a whistleblower” and lavishes praise on the “rebel director” Andrei Nekrasov.

“That invitation was not from our office. O’Neill was an unpaid intern on the committee staff. Paul denies asking her to send the invitations,” said Ken Grubbs, Rohrabacher’s press secretary, referring to the congressman’s staff director, Paul Behrends.

O’Neill went on to secure a job on the Trump transition team and then in the State Department’s Office of the Under Secretary for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights. She did not return a call for comment.

Rohrabacher’s office was given the film by the Prosecutor General’s office in Moscow, which is run by Yuri Chaika, a close associate of President Vladimir Putin who is accused of widespread corruption, and Viktor Grin, the deputy general prosecutor who has been sanctioned by the United States as part of the Magnitsky Act.

That same Prosecutor General’s office also was listed as being behind the “very high level and sensitive information” that was offered to Donald Trump Jr. in an email prior to his now infamous meeting with Russian officials at Trump Tower on June 9—just days before the congressional hearing. Veselnitskaya attended that meeting with Trump Jr. She also happens to have worked as a prosecutor in the Moscow region and is a close personal friend of Chaika.

The Daily Beast reviewed a copy of a document that was passed to Rohrabacher in Moscow in April 2016. The document, marked “confidential,” was given to Rohrabacher and Behrends. It lays out an alternate reality in which the U.S.—and the rest of the world—has been duped by a fake $230 million scandal that resulted in sanctions being imposed on 44 Russians linked to murder, corruption, or cover-ups.

The document, which was handed over by an official from the Prosecutor General’s office to Rohrabacher along with means of viewing the Russian propaganda movie, suggested that U.S. “political situation may change the current climate” and claimed that it was the ideal moment to foment a challenge to the Western narrative on Putin’s kleptocracy. A subcommittee hearing that would re-examine the sanctions placed on Russia, the paper claimed, would be appreciated in Moscow.

“Changing attitudes to the Magnitsky story in the Congress… could have a very favorable response from the Russian side,” the document said.

What the U.S. would get in exchange for holding a subcommittee hearing was not laid out in detail. But the document promised to help iron out “key controversial issues and disagreements with the United States.”

Grubbs said Rohrabacher had accepted the document but said the conversation with officials from the Prosecutor General’s office during the congressman’s April 2016 Moscow visit was “brief and formal.”

When Rohrabacher returned to the United States, he delayed the passage of the Global Magnitsky Act by holding it up in committee and tabled an amendment to remove Magnitsky’s name from its title, citing several of the claims found in the Russian document.

Next, Rohrabacher and Behrends, with the help of Rinat Akhmetshin, a Soviet army veteran and lobbyist who was also present at the June 9 Trump Tower meeting, put together a subcommittee event with witnesses including Veselnitskaya and Nekrasov, the director of the movie.

When Royce, the chair of the foreign relations committee, got wind of the hearing, he nixed Rohrabacher’s plan and offered instead to hold a full committee hearing on Russia relations. House aides conceded that he did so, in part, to avoid Rohrabacher staging an event that could have embarrassed the Republican Party—and Congress.

Rohrabacher was apparently still allowed to propose a witness for the full committee hearing who shared some of his pro-Russia views. Jack Matlock, the former U.S. ambassador to the Soviet Union who appeared, confirmed to The Daily Beast that he had been first approached by Rohrabacher.

A spokesman for Royce said that while Matlock and Rohrabacher did know each other from their days in the Ronald Reagan administration, his appearance at the hearing was ultimately cleared by the full committee’s Republican staff.

During Royce’s hearing, Rohrabacher approvingly compared Donald Trump to Vladimir Putin. The congressman also submitted, for the congressional record, testimony that claimed Russia had not been behind the radioactive poisoning of former FSB officer Alexander Litvinenko in London.

Rohrabacher, Behrends, Akhmetshin, Veselnitskaya, and Matlock had dinner together later that night at the Capitol Hill Club, a private members’ establishment for Republicans. The evening was organized by Lanny Wiles, a veteran GOP operative.

The following day, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy was caught on tape telling Republican colleagues: “There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump.” When some of the lawmakers laughed, he replied: “Swear to God.”…More

CPAC Attendees Waive Russian Flags to Celebrate Trump Treason, and America’s New Satellite State Status

Trump Chumps wave flags to celebrate their new masters..the Russians.

Someone at CPAC handed out Russian flags with "Trump" written in bold

President Donald Trump’s extensive connections to Russian political and business interests became noticable Friday at CPAC, right as the president was speaking to the crowd.

During his speech in front of the Conservative Political Conference on Friday, members of the crowd could be seen waiving Russian flags with Trump’s name on them.

The flags were quickly spotted and confiscated by CPAC staffers, although not before the unfortunate visual found its way all over Twitter. There are also reports that some CPAC audience members were warned they would be thrown out if they were seen waving the flag.

It is unclear who gave out the flag, although it seems unlikely that it was perpetrated by a Trump supporter. In addition to his numerous ties to Russia, Trump has had two powerful staffers resign due to their inappropriate connections with the authoritarian state: Former campaign manager Paul Manafort stepped down when it was revealed that he had worked for a Ukrainian president (and Russian puppet) Victor Yanukovych, while former national security adviser Michael Flynn resigned after it was revealed that he had inappropriate communications with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak about the sanctions imposed by President Barack Obama.

And, of course, there is the intelligence community consensus that Russia engaged in a widespread hacking campaign in order to help elect Donald Trump over his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, during the 2016 presidential election.

The Chumph and Steve Harvey – Two Sides of the Same Bad Penny?

Looks like old Steve has made hisself an “Uncle”, Tom that is – and slinks form to suffer the approbations…

Thinking on it…It certainly is true about the cheap suits.

Donald Trump and Steve Harvey: Two Peas in a Tacky, Misogynistic Pod

The president-elect and his latest ring-kisser are thrice-married TV hosts who share an affinity for backwards views on women and ill-fitting suits.

“They’re kind of beating me up on the internet right now for no reason, but that’s life, isn’t it?”

Steve Harvey, the stand-up comedian turned TV host, gave that statement to reporters following the intense backlash he received online for a series of racist jokes on his talk show targeting Asian men. Harvey has been at the center of two separate controversies this week: one stemming from the unfortunate segment, where he joked about Asian men’s supposed lack of desirability, and the other erupting after the Family Feud MC kissed the ring of President-elect Donald Trump at Trump Tower.

But Harvey is no stranger to controversy, and his shortcomings usually stem from his refusal to evolve past toxic beliefs regarding women and relationships. Harvey’s chauvinistic mindset represents that of an unfortunate cadre of American men—one that promotes female subservience, tasteless jokes about minority groups, and a willingness to meet a certified bigot halfway. It is the very essence of Donald Trump, a boorish, myopic man who wants to “make America great again” by returning it to the “good ol’ days” when “men were men” and you didn’t have to worry about “PC culture.”

In 2015, Harvey hosted a TV special called “What Men Really Think.” It featured 100 women earnestly asking for relationship advice while over 2,000 men in the audience loudly berated them, raining down boos and insulting the women’s looks. The comedian was forced to halt the proceedings for being “too rapey.” The Act Like a Lady author’s entire raison d’être concerns how women should make themselves more desirable to men, molding their looks and personalities to fit men’s needs. If that weren’t enough, he’s said that gay men are not “real men” and has taken it upon himself to refer to Caitlyn Jenner as a “he,” saying of her transition, “I have no concept of what that means.” Harvey’s transition from comedian to commentator has been marked by tons of these clumsy and contemptible moments that indicate he has serious issues with women and the LGBTQ community—issues he chalks up to good ol’ fashioned “values.

So when Steve Harvey walked into Trump Tower on Friday morning, what may have seemed like an odd pairing actually made more sense than most would like to admit. These two guys have similar histories, and because of that, Harvey believed they could work together.

“We’re going to team up and see if we can bring about some positive change in the inner cities which I felt was my only agenda and he agreed. And he wants to do something,” Harvey said. “He realizes he needs some allies in that department, he seemed really sincere about it.”

It’s been an ongoing theme since Trump won the 2016 presidential election: let’s work together. But that sense of collaborative recuperation appears wholly one-sided; there doesn’t seem to be very many members of the president-elect’s incoming cabinet—or high-profile supporters—who plan on walking back their rhetoric, let alone their troubling political records. But many people who were dismissing Trump a year ago are now eager to pretend that he plans to meet them halfway. Even Harvey dismissed Trump during campaign season.

“How do you let a dude who was on the cover of Playboy magazine and has been married 18 times be your president?” Harvey told The Daily Beast in February. “Now come on. Hell, then I qualify.”

But he also said this: “He’s very entertaining to me. I’ve got to tell you, I can’t take my eyes off of the man when he’s talking—mostly because I can’t believe he’s saying what he’s saying out loud.”

“But I like him, personally. I do! I think he’s exciting for politics,” he continued. “Politics haven’t been this exciting in a long time—or as confusing, ever, in the history of it. I think Donald Trump not being a politician is making a lot of people nervous who are politicians.”

After receiving scathing criticism on social media for his meeting with Donald “look at my African-American over here” Trump, Harvey explained how it happened.

“Our president [Obama] asked that all of us sit down and talk to one another in order to move our country forward,” Harvey wrote in a note shared on Twitter. “The transition teams on both sides asked me to meet and I’m glad I did.”

“Trump wants to help with the situations in the inner cities so he immediately got [HUD secretary nominee] Dr. Ben Carson on the phone to begin dialog in looking for programs and housing to help our inner cities and he’s very open to my mentoring efforts across the country.”

“I walked away feeling like I had just talked with a man who genuinely wants to make a difference in this area. I feel that something really great could come out of this. I would sit with him anytime.”

It’s a stretch to suggest that Trump meeting with Black entertainers will do much to heal any wounds suffered by Black Americans collectively, and it’s sad and disgusting that a growing number of Black entertainers seem willing to serve as these superficial signposts for an administration that has not presented itself as one that will work to prioritize the concerns of Black people. Trump just likes hanging out with famous folks.

It’s also especially frustrating because this door only swings one way. It seems highly unlikely that a Ted Nugent or Stacey Dash would’ve met with President Obama in an earnest attempt to “address issues” or “build bridges.”

Harvey’s fellow Kings of Comedy star, D.L. Hughley, took a much different path in addressing the incoming president. Hughley unleashed an angry harangue at the president-elect, citing his birtherism and history of discrimination as factors for why he will never respect Donald Trump.

“It amazes me that to convince Black people that Donald Trump cares about them, he takes pictures with celebrities,” Hughley said in a video posted on Instagram. “If Donald Trump cared about Black people, he would not have denigrated the President with those claims of ‘birtherism.’ He would not have stoked fears and racist fears, saying that this man is less than, or not one of us to become President.”

… The Rest Here…

American Flag…Take It Down

As a small act of resistance against the illicit residency of Putin’s bitch, I refuse to fly the American Flag, or allow it to be flown on my properties.

I’m sorry veterans, but this ain’t America anymore, Your service and sacrifice has been sold.

Veterans protest Hampshire College decision to stop flying U.S. flag

I’m sorry vets – but our flag, Constitution, and country have been disgraced by the traitor Trump in selling out to the Russians. Take it down until the POS is gone.

Veterans protested Sunday at a western Massachusetts college facing criticism from around the country for its decision to stop flying U.S. flags after students allegedly burned a flag in protest of Donald Trump’s presidential election.

Dozens of veterans and other demonstrators held American flags and chanted “U.S.A.” at Hampshire College in Amherst on Sunday, in what organizers called a “peaceful demonstration of freedom.”

Local veterans and others intended to place hundreds of U.S. flags on the streets around the college.

College officials decided to indefinitely stop flying flags earlier this month after the main flag in the center of campus was burned after students lowered the banner to half-staff. Officials replaced the flag, but it was lowered again.

School officials say they welcome peaceful discussions about the flag decision.

In a statement about their decision to remove the flag, college officials said: “This decision is not and was never a commentary on the presidential election.”

Clarifying the statement, Hampshire College President Jonathan Lash told CBS Boston he knows it’s a controversial decision to remove the flag, but he wanted to create a dialogue among those with differing opinions about the symbol.

“There were a range of views on campus, including people whose experience growing up have made the flag a symbol of fear, which was strengthened by the toxic language during the campaign, and people for whom the flag is the symbol of all that’s best throughout the country,” said Lash.

He said the trouble started with a gesture meant to help provoke “meaningful and respectful dialogue” on campus–a stance he outlined in a post on the college’s Facebook page. In that post, he said the Board of Trustees decided to fly the flag at half-staff due to the “environment of escalating hate-based violence” in the wake of the election.

Lash said the gesture was also meant to be an “expression of grief” over deaths around the world, including those of U.S. service members.

But, the move didn’t work as planned and many–especially veterans and families of veterans in the Hampshire College family–saw it as being disrespectful of the tradition of expressing mourning on a national level.

“Frankly, doing that, it didn’t help,” he said. “Flying the flag at half-mast just created more controversy.”

On Veterans Day, someone removed the flag and burned it.

“In the middle of the night, we have no idea who did it or even why,” said Lash.

So that’s why they decided to take down the U.S. flag–and all flags–on campus.

“The flag had become a heated symbol that was making that more difficult,” Lash said. “We really feel our community needs a conversation in which both sides listen to each other, and we wish the nation would have that kind of dialogue. We felt that if we could stop arguing about the symbol, we could get to the underlying issues.”

Of course, that decision has created even more backlash, and Lash said there “certainly is” a lot of anger about the decision.

Is Marco Rubio the Hispanic Herman Cain? Tio Thomas… Indeed.

Not sure whose headlights Marco Rubio stepped in front of today, but fresh on the heels of a Washington Post story about Rubio lying about his parent’s immigration to the US, and the possibility he my not be Constitutionally eligible to serve as as Senator or VP…

Comes this story about the loss of love for him in the Hispanic community, for what us black folks would call inveterate Tomming.

A light skinned version of Herman Cain or Alan West.

Has Marco Rubio sold out?

Poor Marco Rubio. Florida’s junior senator could have been a contender. Instead, he’s become a caricature.

In parts of the Hispanic community, Rubio is thought of as just another ambitious politician who is willing to sell out Latinos to curry favor with Anglo colleagues. That’s what you hear from Internet chatter, letters to the editor, Latino listservs and comments on Spanish-language media.

Just seven months after taking office, the Republicans’ great Latino hope has squandered the one thing that made him unique, interesting and valuable to his party: the potential that he could help mend fences with disaffected Latino voters alienated by the GOP’s simplistic and mean-spirited approach to the immigration issue. Ghadaffi Thanks His Supporters in the US Congress… Republicans

Ghadaffi Gives a Shout Out to His Biggest Supporters

Qaddafi Writes to Congress

No surprise here that Quadaffi knows which side his bread is buttered on. The GOP marched in lockstep once again to sell out America for a foreign dictator with oil.

Bend over, America!

Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi has written to members of Congress thanking them for criticizing President Obama last week over his involvement in the NATO-led military campaign in Libya.

“I want to express my sincere gratitude for your thoughtful discussion of the issues,” Colonel Qaddafi wrote in the letter, a copy of which was supplied to The New York Times by a person seeking to defend the administration’s policy. “We are confident that history will see the wisdom of your country in debating these issues.”

Colonel Qaddafi did not refer specifically to a resolution passed by the Housethat rebuked the administration for maintaining an American role in the campaign without the consent of Congress. But he expressed hope that the lawmakers would continue to pressure the administration.

“We are counting on the United States Congress to its continued investigation of military activities of NATO and its allies to confirm what we believe is a clear violation of U.N. Security Council resolution 1973,” Colonel Qaddafi said in the three-page letter, which was not addressed to any particular lawmaker.

A spokesman for Speaker John A. Boehner, Republican of Ohio, who introduced last week’s resolution, said his office had received the letter but was not able to vouch for its authenticity. The letter was received by the administration through the same channels that Colonel Qaddafi has sent other letters, another official said.

“If authentic, this incoherent letter only reinforces that Gaddafi must go. There’s no disagreement about that,” said the spokesman for Mr. Boehner, Brendan Buck. “That’s why so many Americans have questions – which the White House refuses to answer – about the administration committing U.S. resources to an operation that doesn’t make his removal a goal.”
