Uncle Ben’s Fall

It appears that, for one candidate at least…Things have caught up.

Carson

Ben Carson tumbles in national poll

The retired neurosurgeon plummets 7 points from last month, while Trump solidifies his dominating lead.

Ben Carson took a tumble in the latest national poll, falling 7 points from last month in the Quinnipiac University survey, after weathering heavy criticism for his lack of foreign policy expertise and scrutiny about his personal tale of redemption.

After pulling a virtual tie with Donald Trump in the previous poll, the retired neurosurgeon dropped to third place with 16 percent support among Republican respondents. Trump moved up 3 percentage points to dominate the field at 27 percent.

Also enjoying a bump — Sen. Marco Rubio, who moved up 3 percentage points and into second place with 17 percent support, and Sen. Ted Cruz, who also gained 3 percentage points and tied with Carson at 16 percent. The 3-point hikes for Trump, Rubio and Cruz are all within the poll’s margin of error.

Behind Trump and the triumvirate vying for position behind the Manhattan businessman, no other candidate finished in the double digits.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush earned 5 percent, followed by former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina at 3 percent. No other candidate received more than 2 percent support, and 8 percent of respondents were undecided.

Carson’s dip follows a series of unforced errors, including a flap over his assertion that China is involved in the Syrian conflict and his struggle to answer what nations he would call first to form a coalition against the Islamic State. He also has come under increased scrutiny for the stories he has often retold about his violent childhood and his religious redemption that helped him to become a highly successful pediatric neurosurgeon.

After surging in the early fall, nipping at the heels of Trump and even surpassing him in some polls, Carson appears to be settling back down in some surveys.

Spin Those Numbers – Rove and “White Flight”

KKKarl Rove, the architect of our national disaster the last 8 years, not surprisingly is a fixture on Faux News. Republicans suddenly believe approval numbers are the gold standard, which is interesting since the same polls gave Rove’s boss the lowest approval ratings ever recorded for an American President.

One would assume in the face of approval ratings in the upper 20’s, Rove was standing steadily behind the Bushit, sword in hand …

Ready to serve as second, in the most noble, and belated act of political seppuku.

Sure he was.

If the polls are to be believed, President Obama is now down to the numbers which won him the Presidency – about 35% of white voters, 95% of black voters and 85% of other minority voters…

Ergo the mix that won the election for him.

Conversely – there isn’t any indication that a drop in Obama popularity has resulted in an upswing in Republican popularity.

What is interesting about this is the blatant attempt to play the race card by Faux News and KKKarl…

“white flight”?

Indeed.

About Those Obama Poll Numbers

To hear conservatives tell it, President Obama’s poll numbers are dropping faster than some of our more published black conservatives to their knees…

When confronted with a white conservative with his pants unzipped.

obama2012

Unfortunately for conservatives and Republicans, between the self inflicted political suicide by bimbos (conservative toast), and the general lackluster talent available in the conservative sphere…

That still doesn’t mean a Republican can win an election.

According to the latest Poll of potential candidates for the 2012 Presidential race – Obama led:

Mitt Romney, former governor of Massachusetts, by nine points: 47 percent to 38 percent, with 15 percent undecided

Mike Huckabee, former governor of Arkansas, by 10 points: 48 percent to 38 percent, with 15 percent undecided.

Newt Gingrich, former speaker of the House, by 18 points: 52 percent to 34 percent, with 15 percent undecided.

Sarah Palin, former governor of Alaska, by 19 points: 53 percent to 34 percent, with 13 percent undecided

Meaning the Neutered One, and the Sno’ Ho’ don’t stand a Sno’ Ho’s chance in Hell .

As for Romney, non conservatives like him more than conservatives – who won’t vote for him because he’s a Mormon. Which in their view is “non-christian” and “Satan’s religion”.

Huckabee, at this point has to be the odd’s on favorite to be the Republican candidate sans another “Bimbo eruption” so seemingly common to the sanctimonious. This anti-conservative actually likes Huckabee (not enough to vote for him against Obama at this point), not the least because unlike many of his fellow conservatives…

He isn’t a racist asshat.
