Another Republican Accused of Doing the Trump

Damn! When it rains it pours Republican sexual predators…The Party of “Gram ’em by their private parts” seems to be real busy at that slogan.

Sending picture of his private parts online…Isn’t that an Anthony Weiner?

Minnesota Republican accused of trapping lobbyist in office and demanding sex

A Minnesota Republican lawmaker is under fire for sending abusive texts to a female colleague and reportedly sexually assaulting a female lobbyist in his office while insisting she help him with his “raging b*ner.”

According to the City Paper, state Rep. Tony Cornish under attack after he was accused of sending unwanted sexual comments to Rep. Erin Maye Quade (DFL), who provided text messages to a local paper.

Late Thursday night, Cornish had his chairmanship of the House Public Safety Committee suspended by House Speaker Kurt Daudt (R) while the allegations are being investigated.

More damning, however, are charges from a female lobbyist, who wished to remain anonymous, who claimed Cornish stalked her and solicited her for sex for over a year, once physically grabbing her in his office while trying to kiss her.

According to the woman, Cornish once blocked her from leaving his office, repeatedly telling her, “I have a raging boner. You can’t leave.”

Confronted with the accusations, Cornish denied the assaults,  but did admit to inappropriately texting women, explaining: “I’m an adult. I’m not a saint.”

The accusations against Cornish come at a time when DFL Sen. Dan Schoen is facing demands from his own party’s leaders to resign after he was accused of sexual harassment by multiple women.

The accusations against Schoen include physically grabbing women as well as sending pictures of his genitalia via Snapchat.

Minnesota Cop Encourages Public to Run Over BLM Protesters

Amazing!

“Don’t slow down for any of these idiots who try and block the street.”

A St. Paul, Minnesota police officer has been placed on administrative leave after allegedly telling drivers to run over Black Lives Matter protesters who planned to block traffic as part of a march on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Around 1 a.m. on Saturday, a Facebook user named “JM Roth” posted a comment on a Pioneer Press article about the scheduled protest that said: “Run them over. Keep traffic flowing and don’t slow down for any of these idiots who try and block the street.” The comment then suggested how drivers could legally justify hitting protesters with their cars:

Andrew Henderson, a local activist who maintains the Minnesota Cop Block Facebook page, first noted and reported the comment, which has since been deleted, to the St. Paul Police Department. In phone conversations he recorded anduploaded to YouTube, Henderson told Saint Paul Police Department officials that the “JM Roth” account belonged to Sergeant Jeffrey M. Rothecker. Henderson said Rothecker had admitted in previous comments that he was “JM Roth.”

St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman and Police Chief Thomas Smith have denounced the comment and announced that an investigation into the matter is underway. Senior Commander Shari Gray, the head of the department’s internal affairs unit, also met with Henderson on Sunday, according to the Pioneer Press.

“There is no room in the Saint Paul Police Department for employees who threaten members of the public,” Coleman said in a statement released on Monday. “If the allegation is true, we will take the strongest possible action allowed under law.”

The St. Paul Police Federation, the union for officers, is representing Rothecker, according to the Star Tribune.

The news comes one year after motorist Jeffrey P. Rice struck a teenage girl who was protesting outside a Minneapolis police station. The girl was part of a November 2014 demonstration that took place after a Ferguson, Missouri grand jury declined to indict the officer who shot and killed Michael Brown. The girl suffered a minor leg injury. Last October, Rice, who is from St. Paul, pleaded guilty to a charge for failing to yield to a pedestrian. He was fined $575 and ordered to attend a driver’s education course….More Here

Black Woman Smashed in Face WIth Beer Mug for Speaking Swahili

Another sickening attack on a woman, sitting with her 4 children in an Applebee’s in Wisconsin… Another Trump supporter undoubtedly was the perpetrator of this violent attack for no reason.

This is what happens when politicians use the news, and the news itself stirs up hate.

Applebee’s Customer Allegedly Attacked For Speaking Foreign Language

Asma Mohamed Jama before and after attack

She says she was speaking to a relative in Swahili when a stranger smashed a beer mug in her face.

A woman who was attacked by another woman in a suburban Minneapolis restaurant, allegedly because she was speaking a foreign language, said she feels traumatized and may move out of Minnesota.

Asma Jama told Minnesota Public Radio News (http://bit.ly/1S7gWxE ) that she was chatting with her family in Swahili, one of three languages she speaks, at an Applebee’s in Coon Rapids on Oct. 30 when a woman in a nearby booth smashed a beer mug in her face. The attack left cuts on her face and a deep gash on her lip that required stiches.

“Somebody hit me because I was speaking a different language,” said Jama, an ethnic Somali who came to Minnesota in 2000 from Kenya. Jama said she couldn’t “believe after all these years somebody hit me because I’m different.”

The woman accused in the attack, Jodie Burchard-Risch, was arrested shortly after the incident and charged with third-degree assault. The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations has called for hate crime charges.

The Accused – Jodie Burchard-Risch

Additional charges are possible, said Paul Young, criminal division chief in the Anoka County Attorney’s Office. He noted that prosecutors are still investigating and waiting for medical reports.

A criminal complaint alleges that Burchard-Risch was upset that the victim was speaking in a foreign language and yelled at her, then refused to leave when restaurant managers tried to intervene. Burchard-Risch continued to yell and threw a drink on the victim, then smashed a beer mug in her face before fleeing, according to the complaint.

No working phone numbers for Burchard-Risch could be found Saturday by The Associated Press. Burchard-Risch is scheduled to return to court on Dec. 7. It wasn’t immediately known if she had an attorney.

Jama said she feels “traumatized” and doesn’t feel safe leaving her house alone. When she needed to have the 17 stitches removed from her lip on Thursday, she asked her cousin to join her.

“I’m actually thinking about moving out of Minnesota,” she said. “I’m scared for my life. I don’t feel comfortable here anymore.”

Threat of Beer Shortage Forces Republicans to Capitulate in Minnesota

President Obama – I have a solution for you!

Since the debt crisis will force a government shutdown – perhaps what needs to happen is to shut down beer production and delivery…

As the Olympic Beer riot showed, white folks in this country will go crazy with no beer! It would be National Tar and Feather a Rethugly Day…

In about 2 weeks.

One by one, bars get tapped out

Hundreds of bars, restaurants and stores across Minnesota are running out of beer and alcohol and others may soon run out of cigarettes — a subtle and largely unforeseen consequence of a state government shutdown.

In the days leading up to the shutdown, thousands of outlets scrambled to renew their state-issued liquor purchasing cards. Many of them did not make it.

Now, with no end in sight to the shutdown, they face a summer of fast-dwindling alcohol supplies and a bottom line that looks increasingly bleak…

Dayton, GOP reach a budget deal to end the two-week government shutdown

DFL Gov. Mark Dayton and GOP legislative leaders announced Thursday evening they have reached a budget deal to end a two week government shutdown.

After a three-hour meeting with GOP leaders, Dayton said the shutdown will be done “very soon, within days.”

Dayton agreed to drop his insistence on a tax hike and accept the Republican offer to borrow money to balance the budget.

But the governor said the deal must include a $500 million bonding package for new building projects around the state, withdrawal of the divisive social issue proposals now threaded through Republican spending bills, and elimination of the GOP proposal to reduce the state workforce by 15 percent.

House Speaker Kurt Zellers, R-Maple Grove, said he will have the votes in the House to pass the agreement.

Senate Majority Leader Amy Koch, R-Buffalo, agreed. “We believe the caucus will ultimately support this.”

60! Six Zero! Al Franken Finally “Elected”

Senator Al Franken

Senator Al Franken

Un-freakin- believable that this has been held up for so long, leaving the folks in Minnesota without representation from their elected Senator.

Well – the good news is that the Senate now has a 60 Seat Democrat majority which could stymie Republican efforts to derail progress. Let’s hope they use it soon to correct some of the politically motivated decision of the SCUMUS 5, get the Health Care Bill Moving…

And finally get the country back on the right track.

After 8 Months, Franken Wins Senate Seat in Minnesota

Nearly eight months after Election Day, Al Franken, a former comedian and an author, appeared certain on Tuesday to become the next United States senator from Minnesota, giving the Democratic Party at least symbolic control over Senate filibusters. Read the rest of this entry »
