It’s official: Top psychiatrists at Yale conference warn that Trump has a ‘dangerous mental illness’

35 psychiatrists this week gathered at a conference at Yale to sound the alarm on what they believe is President Donald Trump’s “dangerous mental illness.”

Per The Independent, the psychiatrists met at Yale’s School of Medicine on Thursday to talk about Donald Trump’s mental health, which they warned was frighteningly unstable.

“We have an ethical responsibility to warn the public about Donald Trump’s dangerous mental illness,” said Dr. John Gartner, a practicing psychotherapist who advised psychiatric residents at Johns Hopkins University Medical School and who has in the past warned Trump is a “psychiatric Frankenstein monster.”

Gartner and other psychiatrists at the conference argued that Trump suffers from a particularly malignant case of pathological narcissism, which makes him a danger to the country and the world.

“Worse than just being a liar or a narcissist, in addition he is paranoid, delusional and grandiose thinking and he proved that to the country the first day he was president,” Gartner explained. “If Donald Trump really believes he had the largest crowd size in history, that’s delusional.”

Dr. James Gilligan, a psychiatrist and professor at New York University, said that Trump’s erratic behavior has similarly disturbed him — despite the fact that he has lots of experience working with violent convicted criminals.

“I’ve worked with murderers and rapists, I can recognize dangerousness from a mile away,” he said. “You don’t have to be an expert on dangerousness or spend fifty years studying it like I have in order to know how dangerous this man is.”

Typically, psychology professionals refrain from diagnosing public figures whom they haven’t personally interviewed, but Dr. Bandy Lee, an assistant clinical professor at the Yale School of Medicine, told the conference that the dangers Trump’s mental health present are simply too great to stay silent.

“As some prominent psychiatrists have noted, [Trump’s mental health] is the elephant in the room,” Lee explained. “I think the public is really starting to catch on and widely talk about this now.”

Yet Another Bad Cop Beats Unresistant and Unarmed Mental Patient in Vallejo, Ca

Not sure why this dipshit (hopefully soon to be ex-Cop) thought is wiser to manhandle and beat an obviously mentally troubled, non-dangerous man as a first approach…

You ever stop to think about how many times crap like this doesn’t get caught on camera? The Cop is white, and the victim appears to be Hispanic or black.

Cop Filmed Beating Unarmed Man, Pulling Gun And Ordering Crowd ‘The F**k Back’

“The cop … dove on the kid and started whaling on him,” a witness said.

A Vallejo, California, police officer was caught on video repeatedly punching a man with his fists and flashlight before threatening a group of bystanders with his service weapon on Friday.

The officer was responding to a report of a man behaving erratically at a Valero gas station, according to San Francisco’s KRON-TV.

A brief struggle ensues, during which the man can be heard screaming, “I am God, I am God,” as the officer repeatedly strikes him with his fist and a flashlight. In the video clips below, the officer and others can be heard yelling profanities as a crowd gathers to witness the scene.

“The kid surrendered,” one witness told San Francisco’s KPIX 5 News. “The cop, on the other hand, came right up behind him. He immediately dove on the kid and started whaling on him.”

At one point in the video, someone can be heard yelling “Police brutality!” The officer continues beating the man as a second officer arrives on the scene.

Pregnant Woman Shot and Killed By Police in Washington

Purportedly while sitting beside her two small children…

Native American single mom Renee Davis was five months pregnant when she was killed by deputies on Friday (Facebook.com)

Pregnant Washington woman shot and killed by deputies during ‘wellness check’ on tribal land

A Washington woman who was five months pregnant was shot and killed by King County Sheriff’s deputies Friday night on Muckleshoot tribal lands. Now her loved ones want to know why.

The dead woman’s former foster sister Danielle Bargala told the Seattle Times that Renee Davis, 23, had struggled with depression and mental illness before her fatal run-in with police on Friday.

“It’s really upsetting because it was a wellness check,” said Bargala, who is a Seattle University law student. “Obviously, she didn’t come out of it well.”

A relative of Davis called the sheriff’s department on Friday after receiving an alarming text from the mother of three. Police records show that officers responding to a call about a potential suicide encountered a woman with a handgun and two small children in the house when they arrived at 6:30 in the evening.

What happened next, Bargala said, is still in question, but at the end, Davis — who was an avid outdoorswoman of Native American heritage — lay dead of gunshot wounds. The children, 2 and 3 years old, were unharmed. Davis’ third child, a 5-year-old boy, was at a neighbor’s house.

Bargala said she didn’t know that Davis owned a handgun, but she did own a hunting rifle.

“She loved hunting,” she said.

Davis loved working outdoors. She participated in a fisheries training program and recently had been working as a teacher’s aide.

“She was such a soft person,” said Bargala. The two grew up in a family of seven children. Bargala’s parents had three children of their own and took in four foster children.

Seattle lawyer Ryan Dreveskracht told the Times that unfortunately, these scenarios are all too common when police interact with people struggling with mental illness.

Dreveskracht is currently representing the family of a mentally ill man who was killed by police. He said that while Seattle Police are being trained in de-escalation techniques, most police forces in the state are not.

Another Prison Murder by Guards…And Coverup

Darren Rainey was an inmate in the Dade Correctional Institution in Miami, Florida. Like a number of inmates he suffered from mental illness, in his case schizophrenia, a severe disease which can cause episodes of hallucinations and erratic and irrational actions by the victim. He apparently had an episode while lock in his cell, where he stripped himself naked and defecated on himself. The guards decided to teach him a lesson by locking him in a shower located in a different part of the prison bypassing the showers in the unit where he was held, and turning the hot water on – where he was left for the better part of a day. He was scalded to death by the hot water.

There are a couple of issues here – including the fact that there are regulations on the hot water temperature when working with patients (or prisoners) who have mental issues, just as the doctors and government tells you when having a baby – you should turn the hot water heater in your house down to 10-20 degrees below the standard setting of 135 to prevent accidental scalding. Testimony by other prisoners at Dade claim that the other showers (the ones they didn’t put Rainey in) were the ones where the temperatures had been set to safe levels – and the one he was locked in was particularly hot.

Then there is the coverup.

Guards Cooked This Inmate to Death, Then Rushed to Burn the Evidence

Darren Rainey was locked in a scalding jail shower and when he came out, his skin melted off. The wait for an autopsy took years. The wait for justice continues.

For a man who died in a shower, officials were in a hurry to cremate his body.

Miami cops showed up at the doorstep of Andre Chapman in 2012 with news: his younger brother Darren Rainey died after “he collapsed in the shower” inside Dade Correctional Institution in Miami, Florida.

Chapman didn’t even know his schizophrenia-stricken brother had been moved to Miami.

And while he was forced to come to grips with the sudden loss, Chapman said he was already being pushed by a Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner’s officer to cremate his brother’s remains.

“I asked the man ‘What does his body look like?’ He says, ‘It looks fine,’” Chapman told The Daily Beast.

“This was before I found out he was put in the shower and scalded to death.”

After getting that news, Chapman called the same official who had prodded him to quickly cremate his brother—in other words, destroy the evidence.

The window to exhume Rainey’s body and perform an independent autopsy was closed once his corpse was cremated.

Chapman could only go off the officer’s word.

“After I found out I called him again: ‘Do you remember what I asked you?’

“And this time he had amnesia or something. He didn’t remember,” Chapman said.

According to a preliminary medical report, his brother’s 50-year-old body was far from “fine.” The report noted that Rainey’s body temperature when it was pulled without a pulse from the correctional facility’s shower was a volcanic 104.9 degrees Fahrenheit.

“Mr. Rainey was burned over 90% of his body, skin was hot/warm to touch and skin comes off when touched,” a note from the medical report included in Chapman’s federal lawsuit filed on Nov. 5, 2014 against the Florida Department of Corrections said.

he Miami Herald, whose years-long work by Julie K. Brown uncovered Rainey’s suspicious death, reported Friday he apparently suffered no “thermal” injuries, or burns, on his body, according to law-enforcement sources. Instead, the medical examiner ruled the cause of death as “accidental” as a result of “complications” from schizophrenia, heart disease, and “confinement” in the shower back on June 23, 2012.

That’s all that Chapman knows about what happened to his brother, medically speaking, because it’s taken an unbelievable three years for the medical examiner’s office to complete their report on Rainey’s death. Now that it’s finally finished, Chapman has been barred from learning about the results.

“I’m deeply bothered, man,” Chapman said. “They’re playing a game here. I’m just in the dark with this now. They don’t want to come clean.”

When the death certificate came it might as well have been written in wingdings.

“I have never gotten an autopsy; and on his death certificate it’s ‘death unknown.’”…Read The Rest Here

Accused Killer of Texas Deputy Had Long History of Violent Mental Illness

The man currently accused of killing the Deputy in Harris County, Texas, not only had a rap sheet, but in 2012 was considered non competent to stand trial due to mental illness and sent to a mental health center of 6 months before being released. No motive has been established in the case yet – despite the blubbering of the County Sheriff on National TV. Texas has some of the loosest gun laws in the world, so it is no surprise a guy with felony convictions and being incarcerated in a mental health institution could easily get a gun.

Shannon Miles, Man Suspected Of Killing Texas Deputy, Had History Of Mental Illness

A man charged with murder in the ambush of a suburban Houston sheriff’s deputy had a history of mental illness and was once declared mentally incompetent, according to authorities and his former attorney.

Shannon J. Miles, 30, was being held without bond after an initial court hearing Monday. Prosecutors accuse him of opening fire from behind on Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy Darren Goforth on Friday night in what the sheriff called a “cold-blooded assassination.”

Goforth was shot 15 times, Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson said in court.

Anderson would not comment on a motive, saying investigators were still trying to figure that out. When asked if it might be connected to heightened tensions around the country between law enforcement and civilians, Anderson said, “I have no idea whether it does or not.” This weekend, Sheriff Ron Hickman said the attack was “clearly unprovoked,” that authorities believe the 47-year-old deputy was targeted because he was in uniform and there is no evidence Goforth knew Miles.

Anthony Osso, one of Miles’ two court-appointed attorneys, told The Associated Press that his client intends to plead not guilty.

Miles’ criminal history dates back to 2005 and includes an arrest in Austin in 2012 that led to Miles being sent to a state mental hospital for several months.

In 2012, the Travis County District Attorney’s Office charged Miles with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after he got into a fight at a homeless shelter over a remote control, prosecutor Joe Frederick said. Miles was found to be mentally incompetent in October 2012 and he was sent to North Texas State Hospital in Vernon, Texas.

“From this case, you could never tell what would happen” in the future, Frederick said, adding prosecutors treated the case as a “very serious offense” and had offered Miles a plea agreement of seven years in prison. Miles was declared mentally competent in February 2013, but the charge was dropped after the victim could not be located, Frederick said.

Jon Evans, Miles’ attorney in the Austin case, said medical privacy laws prevent him from offering any details about Miles’ mental illness history. But he was told by Miles’ mother that her son had a lifelong history of mental illness.

At the time of the case in 2012, Miles “suffered from severe mental illness,” Evans said.

Miles also has three convictions for resisting or evading arrest, as well as convictions for disorderly conduct with a firearm, criminal mischief and giving false information to police. Records show he was sentenced to several short stints in jail, anywhere from six to 10 days.

Attack of the Crazy Looking White Dudes!

Was just checking the news today when I came across this story…

Mother of 5 dies after knife attack at southern Maine supermarket; suspect charged with murder

Maine?

There are like 3 black folks in Maine – which kinda limits the suspect list. Ten the mug shot of the purported criminal…

I mean…If this dude (whatever) was standing behind you, wouldn’t you be headed over to the long line? I mean this white person definitely looks a few teacups short of a full kettle.

Authorities have identified the woman who was killed in a knife attack at a supermarket in southern Maine as a 59-year-old mother of five.

State police spokesman Stephen McCausland says Wendy Boudreau was stabbed Wednesday at a Shaw’s supermarket in Saco (SAY’-koh).

The Saco woman was taken to Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford, where she later died.

Police say 31-year-old Connor MacCalister of Saco was arrested and charged with murder Wednesday night. Police are still working on determining a possible motive and say there’s no indication the women knew each other.

What? An argument over the last pack of Gillette blades?

But, I mean…Look at the mugs of recent (and one old) mass killers…

Adam Lanza – Sandy Hook

Notice anything?

Now…Tell me about this part where you local gun shop owner don’t want to sell to a brother with baggy pants…Or got a “Muslim Free Zone”…

But rolls out the AKs for these guys…

Sick Puppy – Crystal Magnum, Duke Rape Case Accuser Arrested for Attempted Murder

Fairly obvious this woman never received the psychological help she needed as a result of the outcome of the Duke case. This was a predictable train wreck – the only good news being no one was killed.

Vodpod videos no longer available.
