Faux News Goes Ballistic on Failed Lynching of Mexican – Not Guilty Verdict in Kate Steinle Murder Trial

Wow! The White Supremacist Right is whimpering in outrage that a brown guy escaped their planned lynching.

As to Faux News and other racist white right outlets…Major meltdown. Even the Chumph had a few more racist comments to add.

And of course Michelle Malkin, the white wing’s favorite brown meat hole.

These Former Faux News Execs…Going to Jail

As if sexual assault and racism wasn’t enough – now former Fox News execs are going down for fraud. No big surprise from an organization built to promote lying to the American public, as well as to promote racism, sexism, and other conservative “ideals” of the elderly white American male and sexual molesters of the Fox Cable News Management team.

Looks like that toilet is finally getting a long overdue flush.

Fox business expert indicted on 8 counts then caught berating employees before crying and firing them

Perp Shots of the charged

Former Fox Business News expert and CEO Ryan Tate and his father Richard have been indicted by the Oklahoma Attorney General’s office on eight felony charges and one misdemeanor count for their shady Tate Publishing company. The charges include a misdemeanor embezzlement, three felony attempted extortion by threat and each for felony racketeering.

The company was started more than 20 years ago, according to NewsOK and worked with thousands to publish their books and music. Suddenly, however, Tate Publishing was being sued by printing services for millions. They abruptly closed in Jan. 2017 and lost additional suits brought by Xerox and Lighting Source when Tate failed to comply with subpoenas.

The attorney general’s office received over 800 requests to investigate the publishing company for complaints by people who felt they were scammed by the company.

“A review of bank records shows that monies derived from the sale of publishing or music production services were deposited into business checking accounts and then transferred to Ryan Tate and Christy Tate and/or Richard Tate and Rita Tate’s personal checking accounts,” Agent Elizabeth Fullbright said during a press conference.

“Bank records also show that the $50 processing fee checks from authors, made payable to Tate Publishing, were deposited directly into both Tate Publishing checking accounts and the personal bank account of Richard and Rita Tate. Richard and Rita Tate’s account appears to be used for personal transactions, including dining and entertainment at casinos in Oklahoma,” she revealed.

The situation got even worse when snarky political blog The Lost Ogle released an audio recording of company President Ryan Tate

“The righteous will prevail. I’ve spent a lot of time this weekend in tears with my family,” Tate told workers. “Good people are going to lose their jobs. It’s not fair, it’s not right, but that’s the reality of the situation. Any good organization — Jesus himself is the perfect mix of mercy, grace and justice. And I’ve probably failed you that I’ve been a little too lenient and a little too on the side of mercy and grace and not enough justice.”

He went on to say that he’s looked the other way and let a lot of things go.

“I tried to be nice. I trusted you. Good God!” Tate exclaimed. He then accused them of being on Facebook or watching Netflix while at work. “I trust you. But all I get is bellyaching, moaning, groaning, the grass is greener on the other side. How stupid do you have to be, in this day in age, in this economy to even play with fire like that?”

If convicted the elder Tate will likely die in prison while his son “plays with fire” behind bars for quite a while. Additional charges might be added as the investigation continues as they sift through the hundreds of complaints. The attorney general’s office isn’t clear on how much money was “wrongfully obtained” by the Tates.

Who Made the Debt, Again?

At last – a clear answer to “Who made this mess.”

It was Bush, and the Bush Tax cuts for the wealthy. Republicans trashed America’s economy, and conservative policies have been a disaster since Raygun.

How the Deficit Got This Big

With President Obama and Republican leaders calling for cutting the budget by trillions over the next 10 years, it is worth asking how we got here — from healthy surpluses at the end of the Clinton era, and the promise of future surpluses, to nine straight years of deficits, including the $1.3 trillion shortfall in 2010. The answer is largely the Bush-era tax cuts, war spending in Iraq and Afghanistan, and recessions.

Despite what antigovernment conservatives say, non-defense discretionary spending on areas like foreign aid, education and food safety was not a driving factor in creating the deficits. In fact, such spending, accounting for only 15 percent of the budget, has been basically flat as a share of the economy for decades. Cutting it simply will not fill the deficit hole….

First, the Bush tax cuts have had a huge damaging effect. If all of them expired as scheduled at the end of 2012, future deficits would be cut by about half, to sustainable levels. Second, a healthy budget requires a healthy economy; recessions wreak havoc by reducing tax revenue. Government has to spur demand and create jobs in a deep downturn, even though doing so worsens the deficit in the short run. Third, spending cuts alone will not close the gap. The chronic revenue shortfalls from serial tax cuts are simply too deep to fill with spending cuts alone. Taxes have to go up.

Third Reactor at Fukuchima Dai-ichi Goes Into Meltdown

There has been another explosion at the stricken Japanese Nuclear Power Plant in the last hour or two. This is the third explosion in the reactor complex since the earthquake. The complex is made up of 8 reactors. By some reports, this one is by far the most serious explosion – with the fuel rods exposed, releasing highly radioactive material.

This video is from the second explosion –

New Explosion Rocks Japanese Nuclear Plant

An explosion that released radioactive material occurred in reactor No. 2 at the nuclear center at Fukushima, in northeastern Japan, on Monday.

The blast damaged part of the primary container surrounding the reactor’s core and caused an escape of an undetermined quantity of radioactive material, the Nuclear Security Agency said.

The Kyodo news agency reported that radiation levels in the vicinity “exceeded the legal limit” after the explosion, which occurred at 6:10 a.m. on Tuesday local time (2110 GMT on Monday), shortly after the Japanese government admitted that the reactor continued to be unstable after it suffered damage in Friday’s magnitude-9.0 earthquake.

The operating crew at the plant worked all night to inject seawater into the secondary containment structure in an attempt to cool down the core and prevent a meltdown that could emit radioactive material, but that did not have the desired effect and the reactor was not able to be stabilized.

If the nuclear fuel in the core begins to melt down, that would constitute an emergency situation of the highest order because of the potential for a severe radioactive leak that could contaminate the area.

Reactor No. 2 at Fukushima on Monday suffered a failure of one of the 10 valves associated with its cooling system, something similar to what occurred before reactors 1 and 3 at the same center exploded after the quake.

Japanese Reactor Goes Into Meltdown in Japan After Quake

This one is going to meltdown. The big question is whether they can cool the core off fast enough to prevent any (additional) major release of radiation… Hopefully, they can prevent another Chernobyl. Apparently, they have already lost some workers, either badly injured or killed courageously trying to get this back under control.

This is despite the best building codes and system in the world to prevent just the sort of damage we are seeing from an earthquake or natural disaster. Because earthquakes are so common in Japan, major structures and buildings are designed to extremely high standards – higher than the US California Standards, which are the best in the US and generally accepted in much of the world. The fact that (possibly) only a few thousand people have been killed in an earthquake an order of magnitude stronger than that which hit Haiti is due to that. Most of the victims are likely from the Tsunami, despite the fact that a number of the towns and villages in the area have 10-30′ seawalls designed to protect them from just such an occurance.

To understand how violent this earthquake was, geographic sources are now reporting that the coastline of Japan was actually moved 8 feet! And shifted the entire planet on it’s axis by 4 inhces!

25 Years ago, a reactor outside of Detroit, Michigan had an “incident”…

Bernice King Rejects SCLC Leadership Job

Bernice King

In another meltdown, MLK daughter Bernice King has refused the leadership position at the Southern Christian Leadership Council her father founded. The organization has recently been riven by infighting and scandal.

MLK daughter’s exit leaves SCLC’s future in doubt

The Southern Christian Leadership Conference is facing an uncertain future following the decision of Martin Luther King Jr.’s daughter to walk away from the embattled civil rights organization.

The Rev. Bernice King said this week that she would not take the helm of the group that her father founded in 1957 and that elected her president in 2009.

The once-proud organization has split into two factions, had its finances scrutinized and saw its former chairman indicted last week on theft charges.

Former United Nations Ambassador Andrew Young says the group might have run its course and that Bernice King made a wise decision. He says “we should’ve closed it down years ago.”

Young was a close adviser to Martin Luther King Jr., as the group led nonviolent protests for equality for African-Americans and social justice.

Republican Victory in 2010? I Don’t Think So!

Republicans are hyped about the typical minority party gaining seats in a mid-term election. They believe if they shout and squeal enough, the base will get energized enough to gain some seats…

Two problems with that:

That extremism thing, the most recent evidence of which was threatening letters sent to 30 Governors

And the loss of Mainstream Republicans.

What we got here is a major meltdown.

Off the Reservation: Republican Party (1856 – 2010)

Republicans are shouting and spitting like a bunch of fucking hyenas as they clamor for face time in the media. They’re filling our inboxes, vandalizing our social networking profiles and polluting the airwaves with venomous messages rebuking the Obama Administration over health care. HEALTH CARE! My fellow Republicans are tearing this nation apart over providing medical care for those less fortunate. Not bank bailouts, war, or wasteful pork spending— Health care. Really?

The behavior among elected Republicans and the dimwitted TV pundits who are whipping America into an absolute frenzy is the worst thing about this bill and has led me to question my long-standing affiliation with the Republican Party. For a moment, I thought it was me; that maybe I had changed and lost touch with Republicanism. So, in seeking to refresh my recollection of what this party stands for, I logged onto the GOP home page.

What I found was as pathetic as it was cartoonish. A complete embarrassment. The site opens to a fiery red screen with Nancy Pelosi, fists and teeth clenched in a fit of rage against a backdrop of flames, with the words “Fire Pelosi” in bold letters emblazoned on the screen. This buffoonery doesn’t torch Nancy Pelosi—it’s Theodore Roosevelt, Dwight D. Eisenhower and Abraham Lincoln who are torched by the flames of dissent and hatred that now embody this once-great party.

Going deeper in the site only serves to highlight the confusion within the GOP. It lists the accomplishments of the Republican Party since its inception and its own core values of today. It proudly claims responsibility for freeing the slaves, establishing Howard University and outlawing the Ku Klux Klan. It touts Republican leadership in writing the 19th Amendment, passing two civil rights acts and ending racial segregation in Little Rock. The list spans two centuries of achievements such as these and others that today seem more in alignment with the Democratic Party, like establishing Yellowstone National Park, building the federal highway system and authoring welfare reform.

This is the party I belong to.

But the current “platform”—if you can call it that—lists only six ideals. The power of the individual, voluntary giving, limited government, low taxes, less regulation and national strength. That’s what it says, but what it practices is hate, because hate sells when the chips are down. Well, here’s the newsflash: The strong Republican individual who enjoyed low taxes, limited government and less regulation didn’t voluntarily give a hand to the 32 million people under eight years of Bush Jr., four under Bush Sr. and eight under Reagan. And the eight under Clinton? We Republicans killed health care then too. So, no. The “voluntary giving” portion of the agenda hasn’t worked.

This bill is what we get for not doing something sooner. Now the Republican Party is calling for true health care reform and vowing to still kill this bill? NOW? Too bad, so sad. Too little, too late. Everything that is wrong with this bill is the fault of every loser in office with an (R) next to his or her name.

From the realm of beyond ridiculous comes the conservative movement. The growing number of so-called “Tea Party” activists are hunting their own, outing those they call Republicans In Name Only, or “RINOs.” They have taken their vituperative agenda to the streets, hurling racial epithets at democratic lawmakers and preaching angry messages to Fox’s ravenous cameras. Television ratings and voter ire are feeding off one another and creating a vortex of hatred that has gone viral and beyond.

There is nothing grand about this old party that preys only on the enmity of the populous. There is nothing admirable or principled about fear mongering. Where are the inspired solutions that made this party great?

I’m calling it. I hereby officially pronounce the Republican Party dead. The GOP died suddenly on March 23, 2010 from a diseased mind and heart. It was 154 years old. The son of Ronald Reagan, grandson of Theodore Roosevelt and great-grandson of Abraham Lincoln is survived only by bastard stepchildren who have squandered the family fortune and sullied its good name.

A plague on all of your tents, I say. I renounce my allegiance to those who cloak themselves in the shroud of Republicanism without understanding what it means to be so. I stand firmly by the glorious list of accomplishments from which these whores have divorced themselves and await the day a new breed of Republicans rediscovers the true meaning behind the core values of this party. Until then you have lost my vote of confidence and, more importantly, my vote. When you do return to your collective senses and stand for something other than hatred and dissent, I will be there, because a real elephant never forgets.
