Question of the Hour…GOP Congressmen Targeted?

Before the white-right screamers come up with the usual hysteria – whether this shooting was connected to anything political, or is nothing more than some domestic dispute.

We can expect the usual outpouring of fake outrage, fake sorrow, and bemoaning of violence.

Bullshit.

Republicans been cruising for this for years.

Hope this gets some attention from the Rethugs about their support of a traitor in the Whites Only House, firing up and enablement of racist and white supremacists, destruction of the healthcare plan in opposition to 66% of the voting public, and complete disregard for anything except Party ideology…

When that ideology over the needs of the country starts coming at a righteous price.

And while I certainly don’t support assassination, I really can’t help hoping in the “evil desires” file in the back of my mind – the next whacked out crazy from the left…Spends a bit more range time to improve his accuracy.

GOP baseball practice shooter identified as 66-year-old James T. Hodgkinson

The man who shot at Republicans at their early morning baseball practice Wednesday has been identified as 66-year-old  James T. Hodgkinson.

The Washington Post reports that Hodgkinson is a resident of Belleville, Illinois and is the owner of a home inspection business. Records in St. Clair County, Illinois show that Hodgkinson in  April 2006 was charged with battery and aiding damage to a motor vehicle.

Per Huffington Post’s Sam Stein, Hodgkinson’s wife told ABC News that Hodgkinson had moved to Alexandria, Virginia two months ago. Hodgkinson’s home inspection license expired at the end of 2016 and had not been renewed.

His Twitter profile shows that Hodgkinson is a left-wing supporter of Bernie Sanders who has also posted several memes on his Facebook page critical of President Donald Trump. He also called Georgia Republican congressional candidate Karen Handel a “b*tch” for saying she didn’t support a living wage during a debate with Democratic rival Jon Ossoff.

Charles Orear, a 50-year-old restaurant manager from St. Louis, tells the Washington Post that he and Hodgkinson met while campaigning for Sanders in Iowa in 2016.

“You’ve got to be kidding me,” Orear told the Post. “I met him on the Bernie trail in Iowa, worked with him in the Quad Cities area.”

More Evidence of GOP Collusion With Russian Spies

It wasn’t just the Chumph colluding with the Russians. This collusion was offered as a package which was taken by over 40 Republican candidates.

This is why the GOP is trying so hard to quash the Chumph Treason trial.

GOP operative asked Russian hacker Guccifer 2.0 for help — and got 2.5 gigabytes of stolen documents: report

The Russian hacker who helped President Donald Trump win the 2016 election also allegedly collaborated with a Republican consultant in Florida.

A Wall Street Journal report published on Thursday revealed that Republican operative Aaron Nevins made a plea last year to Guccifer 2.0, the same hacker who is accused of helping Trump by revealing stolen Democratic National Committee emails.

According to the Journal:

Learning that hacker “Guccifer 2.0” had tapped into a Democratic committee that helps House candidates, Mr. Nevins wrote to the hacker to say: “Feel free to send any Florida based information.”

Ten days later, Mr. Nevins received 2.5 gigabytes of Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee documents, some of which he posted on a blog called HelloFLA.com that he ran using a pseudonym.

The report said that the hacker then sent Trump ally Roger Stone a link to the blog post.

During conversations with the Guccifer 2.0, Nevins observed that the documents were “probably worth millions of dollars.”

“Hmmm,” the hacker replied, “ok u owe me a million :)”

In an interview with the paper, Nevins defended his actions as standard political practice.

“I just threw an arrow in the dark,” Nevins explained, noting that when he analyzed the documents, he “realized it was a lot more than even Guccifer knew that he had.”

“If your interests align,” the operative concluded, “never shut any doors in politics.”

And the Winner of BTx3’s Defensive Driving Award…

Ain’t if funny how Congress gets to keep Obamacare while screwing the American public?

I’d call this “Defensive Driving”. Certainly not a crime.

Woman Allegedly Tries to Run GOP Lawmaker Off Road Over Health Care Vote

screen_shot_20170514_at_4.01.49_pm

Wendy Walsh, BTx3 Defensive Driver of the Year

Feelings are running high over the Obamacare repeal and replace vote. Republicans are getting confronted by angry voters at town halls, and some are even seeing that rage spill over to the streets. In Tennessee, one woman was so angry at a lawmaker’s vote in favor of the health care bill that she tried to run him off the road, according to police.

After Rep. David Kustoff visited the University of Tennessee at Martin on Monday, Wendi Wright started tailing his car. Wright was so aggressive while driving that at one point the lawmaker and those in the car with him were “in fear of being forced off” the road, the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department said. So they decided to change course and go to a friend’s house that was nearby. Wright got out of her car and confronted the lawmaker.

Wright reportedly started screaming, and hit the windows of Kustoff’s vehicle, even reaching inside at one point. She briefly blocked the car from leaving until she got out of there once cops were called. Authorities arrested her later when she wrote about the incident on Facebook. At first authorities tried to get her side of the story but she refused to cooperate. “That left us with no other choice but to issue an arrest warrant for her and take her into custody,” a sheriff’s department official said.

Wright was charged with felony reckless endangerment and freed on a $1,000 bond. She is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday.

Another Russian Owned Republican!

Been saying this for a while too…It’s more than just Putin’s Bitch.

This GOP Clown may get his orange jumpsuit before even getting in office.

BUSTED: Montana GOP candidate Greg Gianforte has financial ties to Russian companies under US sanctionsGreg Gianforte

Only days before absentee ballots will be mailed to Montana voters, the only statewide congressional election of 2017 has been thrown into pandemonium following revelations that GOP nominee Greg Gianforte invests in Russian companies under U.S. sanctions.

“The race to fill Montana’s vacant congressional seat has a huge shakeup,” ABC-Fox anchor David Winter concluded while introducing a story by reporter Kolby Crossley. “ABC Fox Montana has learned that Republican Greg Gianforte has financial ties to two Russian companies that have been sanctioned by the United States.”

“Gianforte owns close to 150 thousand dollars’ worth of shares in Vaneck Vectors Russia ETF and more than 92 thousand dollars in the IShares MSCF Russia ETF fund” which have significant holdings in Gazprom and Rosneft.

With absentee ballots for the May 25 special election going out on Monday, the timing of this Russian investment scandal couldn’t come at a worse time for Gianforte.

“It plays directly into the narrative that Gianforte’s campaign doesn’t want to unfold: that Gianforte is a wealthy person from New Jersey, who moved to Montana to build a trophy home and fence off public land while getting rich by outsourcing and other money schemes like these Russian ties,” explained an analysis at the anonymous Montana Cowgirl Blog.

“And it’s made even worse by the fact that he tried to hide this money,” continued the analysis, while pivoting to similarities with Donald Trump’s scandals. “Just like the current administration’s illegal ties to Russian spies, Russian Money and Russian influence, the cover-up is almost a bigger story.”

Gianforte is facing Democrat Rob Quist, who is an iconic figure in Montana.

Montana’s lone congressional seat was vacated when Ryan Zinke was confirmed as Interior Secretary. Republicans have held the seat since former Democratic Party Congressman Pat Willians announced he would retire after winning his 9th term during the 1994 GOP landslide.

Republicans are nervous about holding the seat and have been, “sounding the alarms” with the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) investing $1.2 million in tv ads with the Congressional Leadership Fund Super PAC investing another $800,000 in ads.

While Republicans are going all-in to hold the seat, Politico reporter Elena Schneider had a bombshell report on national Democrats withholding cash from Montana’s special election. This despite the surge beyond traditional support that Democrats saw with James Thompson in the Kansas special election and Jon Ossoff in the first round of the Georgia special election.

While the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committe (DCCC) may be largely surrendering in Montana, independent Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders has promised to visit Montana to campaign for Quist. Both Sanders and Quist are supporters of Single Payer Health Care reform.

Gianforte’s financial ties to US-sanctioned Russian companies were originally unearthed by Ben Jacobs, a Washington, DC political reporter for the Guardian.

The Quist campaign is hammering Gianforte’s Russia connections.

Quist campaign spokesperson Tina Olechowski told the Guardian, “Montana voters deserve to know why Greg Gianforte held on to his shady Russian investments after Putin invaded Ukraine, and again when Russia was accused of interfering in the presidential election.”

“Instead Gianforte kept his Russian ties secret during his failed run for governor last year,” she continued. Gianforte was the only statewide Republican candidate to lose in Montana last year, when Donald Trump carried Montana by over 100,000 votes.

In fact, when the NRCC attacked Quist for performing at a nudist resort in Idaho, the Quist campaign told USA Today reporter Jessica Estepa, “This is just a naked attempt to distract voters from (Republican rival) Greg Gianforte’s shady Russian investments.”

Not only are absentee ballots being mailed on Monday, but Saturday night Q2 news anchor Jay Kohn, Chief Political Reporter Mike Dennison and Mikenzie Frost will be hosting a candidates debate that will almost certainly focus on Gianforte’s Russian connection. The debate will be broadcast live on KTVQ in Billings, KBZK in Bozeman, KXLF in Butte, KRTV in Great Falls, KTVH in Helena and KPAX in Missoula. The debate will also stream live on all Montana Television Network websites and begins at 7PM local time.

Top GOP Adviser Calls Trump a Traitor!

Wow! Some folks, even in the GOP are sick of covering for Putin’s Bitch and his Treason!

‘The days of pretending that this isn’t serious are over’: GOP adviser calls on media to ‘expose’ Trump’s treason

A GOP consultant who was once asked to head up communications for now-President Donald Trump tweeted out a laundry list of suggestions to the media Saturday morning on how to best push back at a White House administration that continues to threaten them.

According to writer and media consultant Cheri Jacobus, “The days of pretending” what is happening under Trump isn’t “serious” is over and it is time for a concerted push-back.

At the top of her Twitter feed, Jacobus proves her bonafides as a conservative in good standing, providing a screen-shot of a message from former Trump adviser Jim Dornan, asking her to work for the, saying ” We need a top notch communications director.”

As Jacobus’ tweets reveal, she not only is not a part of the Trump team but that she is appalled at what has transpired during the presidential campaign and how the Trump White House has conducted itself.

What she has done is call on those who are under attack by Trump and his advocates, to “unite” with others to stop the bullying.

You can read her tweets below:

1. One of the positive aspects of Trump/Bannon extremism in the first 2 weeks is that it’s harder to deny the trouble we’re in & can act

2. The days of pretending that this isn’t serious are over. It is worse than what was warned about during the campaign. The press must unite

3. When Trump tries to shut down one media outlet, the rest must resist. When Trump tries to bully a judge, the rest must be louder.

4. When Trump/Bannon overreaches, all must call them out. When they lie, all must expose them. When they are treasonous, say so. Loudly.

5. When a Trump family member is in a meeting they should not be in, question it immediately.

6. Interviews with Trump and his people should be pre-taped and fact-checked at the time they are aired.

7. Ignore & block Trump twitter trolls. Don’t engage. They give media & lawmakers false impression of Trump support by viewers & constituents

8. emails & tweets media and Cong get showing massive support for Trump are FAKE. Do not make programming or policy decisions based on these

9. Media should boycott the White House Correspondents Dinner unless Trump agrees to free & open press. This should not be negotiable

Republicans Bail GOP Over the Chumph

It is looking like an increasing number of Republicans can’t stand the stench anymore…

Iowa lawmaker has seen enough, gives up GOP allegiance

It’s exceedingly rare for an elected official to abandon his or her political party, especially during a legislative session and an election year, which made this Des Moines Register story that much more noteworthy.
State Sen. David Johnson, one of the senior members of the Iowa Senate, says he has suspended his Republican Party membership to protest “the racist remarks and judicial jihad” by presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump. […]
“I will not stand silent if the party of Lincoln and the end of slavery buckles under the racial bias of a bigot,” Johnson said, referring to Trump.
It’s worth noting that Johnson, a longtime state lawmaker who has always served as a Republican, did not partner with Democrats, but rather changed his voter registration to “no party.”
His decision does not alter control of the chamber in which he serves: Iowa’s state Senate already has a narrow Democratic majority, and Johnson’s break with the GOP leaves the Dems’ advantage unchanged.
It’s likely that Johnson has grown increasingly frustrated over time, because veteran lawmakers don’t usually walk away from their political party over a single offensive incident. One wonders, though, how many David Johnsons there are nationwide: Americans who’ve long considered themselves Republicans, who remember what the GOP was like before its radicalization, and who may be tempted to give up on the party in light of Trump’s nomination and antics.
In this case, Johnson also told the Des Moines Register he’s been disappointed by the GOP’s timidity in criticizing Trump – and to help prove the point, Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad (R) defended his party’s presidential nominee.

Uncle Ben Again – “The uneducated are easily tricked into wanting education.”

This clown sounds like he is on some sort of hallucinogen. In my college days I saw people who were tripping on LSD who made more sense than Uncle Ben.

Ben Carson: Uneducated people are easily tricked into voting for free education

GOP presidential hopeful Ben Carson on Wednesday seemed to give contradicting statements when he said it was very easy to mislead uneducated people into thinking that providing college education was a good thing.

The remarks, made at Liberty University in Virginia, seemed to be a swipe at Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders, who has said that higher education should be funded by states and the federal government, according to The Hill. Carson said doing so would lead to “the destruction of the nation.”

The model is currently in practice in other highly-developed countries that have yet to be destroyed, like Germany and Finland.

Carson, who believes that the Egyptian pyramids were built by the biblical figure Joseph, cautioned against being ill-informed without addressing the role higher education plays in informing.

“It becomes easy to swallow things,” the retired neurosurgeon told the audience. “If you don’t understand our financial situation and someone comes along and says, ‘free college for everybody,’ they’ll say, ‘oh how wonderful,’ and have no idea they’re talking about hastening the destruction of the nation.”

Some Lives Just Matter More

This guy was the former Attorney General under “Governor Gifty”, our former Governor who is now spending time in jail for corruption. The “Chuch” as he is nicknamed also ran for Governor… He lost.

Ken Cuccinelli Says ‘Black Lives Matter’ Insults White People

A panel discussion on CNN got heated Sunday when former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli (R) argued that “Black Lives Matter” is a poor message because it makes white people feel less valued.

After former South Carolina Rep. Bakari Sellers (D) explained that as a black man, he was “the only person at this table whose next interaction [with law enforcement] may cause them to be a hashtag,” Cuccinelli suggested that the “Black Lives Matter” slogan and hashtag should be amended, according to CNN footage shared by Raw Story.

“Adding t-o-o at the end puts it in a context that makes sense,” he argued. Sellers answered that message is already implicit in the slogan.

“Well, you may say that,” Cuccinelli told Sellers. “And there’s plenty of reason to understand that. But I don’t think every American hears it that way. They hear, ‘Here we are. Yes, we have this political motivation that we’re separating out this one category of Americans and saying they matter more than everybody else.'”

Sellers tried to reframe the message for the former attorney general.

“We’re saying stop killing us,” he said.

“I understand that,” Cuccinelli replied, “but that’s why you have the retort, ‘No, all lives matter.’ We’re not leaving these out.”

The push to adopt the “All Lives Matter” message has been widely criticized as ignoring data that shows black Americans face the greatest risks when confronted by law enforcement. Young black people are 4.5 times more likely to be killed by police than any other age or racial group, according to the Center on Juvenile and Criminal Justice, and while black Americans comprise just 13 percent of the U.S. population, they make up 26 percent of those shot by police.

Ghadaffi Thanks His Supporters in the US Congress… Republicans

Ghadaffi Gives a Shout Out to His Biggest Supporters

Qaddafi Writes to Congress

No surprise here that Quadaffi knows which side his bread is buttered on. The GOP marched in lockstep once again to sell out America for a foreign dictator with oil.

Bend over, America!

Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi has written to members of Congress thanking them for criticizing President Obama last week over his involvement in the NATO-led military campaign in Libya.

“I want to express my sincere gratitude for your thoughtful discussion of the issues,” Colonel Qaddafi wrote in the letter, a copy of which was supplied to The New York Times by a person seeking to defend the administration’s policy. “We are confident that history will see the wisdom of your country in debating these issues.”

Colonel Qaddafi did not refer specifically to a resolution passed by the Housethat rebuked the administration for maintaining an American role in the campaign without the consent of Congress. But he expressed hope that the lawmakers would continue to pressure the administration.

“We are counting on the United States Congress to its continued investigation of military activities of NATO and its allies to confirm what we believe is a clear violation of U.N. Security Council resolution 1973,” Colonel Qaddafi said in the three-page letter, which was not addressed to any particular lawmaker.

A spokesman for Speaker John A. Boehner, Republican of Ohio, who introduced last week’s resolution, said his office had received the letter but was not able to vouch for its authenticity. The letter was received by the administration through the same channels that Colonel Qaddafi has sent other letters, another official said.

“If authentic, this incoherent letter only reinforces that Gaddafi must go. There’s no disagreement about that,” said the spokesman for Mr. Boehner, Brendan Buck. “That’s why so many Americans have questions – which the White House refuses to answer – about the administration committing U.S. resources to an operation that doesn’t make his removal a goal.”

GOP Backstabs Obama, America…Again.

When TF is Obama going to learn? These renegade GOP barstids aren’t in this for anything to do with helping America…

They are in it solely for political power and to satisfy their rich benefactor’s desires.

There quite simply is no “bipartisanship” possible with a rabid dog.

GOP Blindsides Obama, Blocks Russian Arms Treaty

President Obama seems likely to end 2010 with one less feather in his cap than he counted on: The new arms control treaty with Russia that numbered among his top foreign policy goals for the year appears to be dead in the water. The White House was “blindsided and angered” yesterday, reports the New York Times, when Sen. Jon Kyl, the GOP-designated arbiter of the deal who the administration had foisted all its hopes on, moved to block a vote on the treaty—something the White House learned about by way of reporters.

Kyl said he didn’t think enough time remained in the lame-duck session to address “the complex and unresolved issues related to Start and modernization.” The administration had spent many months trying to woo Kyl and his fellow Senate Republicans, committing to spending some $80 billion to modernize our nuclear weapons complex and on Friday throwing another $4.1 billion in the pot. The Times reports that White House officials met with, called, or briefed Kyl and his staff some 29 times regarding the treaty—according to which both countries would reduce their nuclear arsenals and permit mutual inspections—and had been optimistic about sealing the deal this week. Chances of it being ratified now are slim.

Speaking of Dead Elephants in the Room

Dragging the Dick out of his cave, trying to rehabilitate Neut, and having McCain on the talk circuit…

Ain’t workin’!

GOP Tries Beating the Horse Again

GOP Tries Rasing Conservatism Again

Neither is the tired old Republican program of racial animosity, white fright, and FUD.

Fresh on the report that the average demographic for watchers of Faux News is a 65 year old white male, come even more dire news…

There aren’t any young Republicans.

Indeed, the failed conservative programs of the last 15 years have invigorated young folks to the point, I think it’s safe to say the dead horse the Republicans in the picture are beating… Is conservatism.

If the Republican Party thinks it has problems now, just wait. The party’s incredibly poor performance among young voters in the 2008 election raises questions about the long-term competitiveness of the GOP.

The “millennials” — the generation of Americans born between 1982 and 2003 — now identify as Democrats by a ratio of 2-to-1. They are the first in four generations to contain more self-perceived liberals than conservatives.

And a recent Daily Kos tracking poll should send shudders down the spine of any Republican who understands how powerful a voting bloc this generation could become over the next decade.

Only 9 percent of millennials polled expressed a favorable opinion of the Republican Party. Only 7 percent were positive about the GOP’s congressional leaders. By contrast, 65 percent of millennials had a favorable opinion of the Democratic Party, and a majority also approved of congressional Democrats.

The GOP Is a Cult

Saw this picture on the web the other day –

Of Dead Elephants and the GOP

Of Dead Elephants and the GOP

Reminded me of this photo –

Jonestown Cult Mass Murder/Suicide 1978

Jonestown Cult Mass Murder/Suicide 1978

Now those of you who either a) weren’t alive in 1978 or were babies, probably don’t know about Jim Jones and Jonestown – which was the largest mass suicide/murder in modern American history or b) were  brought up incensed by the fake outrage, AKA the Waco Whackos, and as such are probably too stupid to figure out why their elders weren’t up in arms over a cult.
