The Tea Begins to Crumble in the US…

It has taken a while, but there has been a dramatic change of public opinion about the Tea Party, and it’s sugar daddies – not the least driven by folks experiencing exactly what having these folks in power means.

After successfully buying a movement, and election, and even judges, the Koch brothers juggernaut hit a brick wall. That brick wall is when average Americans actually had to face, and pay for the bigotry and insane policies of the Republican Party.

The G.O.P.’s Post-Tucson Traumatic Stress Disorder

…Glenn Beck’s ratings at Fox News continued their steady decline, falling to an all-time low last month. He has lost 39 percent of his viewers in a year and 48 percent of the prime 25-to-54 age demographic. His strenuous recent efforts to portray the Egyptian revolution as an apocalyptic leftist-jihadist conspiracy have inspired more laughs than adherents.

Sarah Palin’s tailspin is also pronounced. It can be seen in polls, certainly: the ABC News-Washington Post survey found that 30 percent of Americans approved of her response to the Tucson massacre and 46 percent did not. (Obama’s numbers in the same poll were 78 percent favorable, 12 percent negative.) But equally telling was the fate of a Palin speech scheduled for May at a so-called Patriots & Warriors Gala in Glendale, Colo.

Tickets to see Palin, announced at $185 on Jan. 16, eight days after Tucson, were slashed to half-price in early February. Then the speech was canceled altogether, with the organizers blaming “safety concerns resulting from an onslaught of negative feedback.” But when The Denver Post sought out the Glendale police chief, he reported there had been no threats or other causes for alarm. The real “negative feedback” may have been anemic ticket sales, particularly if they were to cover Palin’s standard $100,000 fee.

What may at long last be dawning on some Republican grandees is that a provocateur who puts her political adversaries in the cross hairs and then instructs her acolytes to “RELOAD” frightens most voters. Read the rest of this entry »

Former Florida GOP Head Arrested, Charged With Embezzleing Republican Party

So, with the recent 5-4 Surpeme Court Ruling – I wonder if he had to read his Miranda Rights to the Police?

What is interesting about this is that Jim Greer was forced to resign from his Party Chairmanship when information about his high-spending lifestyle and extravagant spending utilizing the Party’s credit cards surfaced. Also ensnared in that scandal was Tea Party darling, and current Republican nominee for US Senate, Marco Rubio.

Does Jim turn “states evidence” to avoid spending the next 30 years of his life behind bars?

Hmmmmmmm… I’m beginning to believe Representative Meeks may have a shot after all!

Jim Grier - Former Florida GOP Head, Candidate For Illuminati Noir Orange Jumpsuit Award

WDBO Local News – Former GOP head jailed, charged with stealing from party

Jim Greer is facing several felony charges. He was arrested around 9:00 Wednesday morning by the FDLE at his home in Oviedo.

Greer is charged with one count of organized fraud, one count of money laundering and four counts of grand theft.

“Mr. Greer developed a scheme to take money from the Republican Party of Florida through a shell company that he created called Victory Strategies,” said Florida Statewide Prosecutor Bill Shepherd.

Greer is accused of entering into a vendor contract with the company.

“Victory Strategies then was paid 10 percent of major donor funding that came in to the party through contributions,” said Shepherd.

He says the company also received more than $60,000 dollars that was simply paid at Greer’s request. In all, he’s accused of stealing more than $100,000 from the state GOP.

If convicted of all counts, Greer could spend the rest of his life in prison. He’s being held under $105,000 bond at the Seminole County Jail.

KKKarl Rove’s Upbringing

My last post was about a Republican closet queen who had been outed by his own drunken actions. KKKarl Rove is on the road shilling his book, one portion of which deals with his difficult upbringing. One part of that is his parent’s divorce, and mother’s subsequent suicide –

“I just wanted to set the record straight, because I mean, again, this was a political attack on me,” Rove told Lauer. “In order to get to me, people had to say ugly things about my parents. I don’t know whether my father was, at the end of his life, gay or not. I just don’t. I don’t think so, but I don’t know … My mother never said to us that their marriage fell apart because my father was gay.”

In his new book, “Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight,” Rove writes:

“I have become an adjective. There is something called a Rovian-style of campaigning and it’s meant as an insult. One columnist said it consists mainly of throwing mud until it sticks. One prominent blogger described the elements of a textbook Rovian race as fear-based, smear-based and anything goes.”

Others, including fellow Republicans, don’t buy Rove’s denials. As Lauer reported, “Roy Fletcher, McCain’s deputy campaign manager, said of the South Carolina smear, quote, ‘This whole thing, it was orchestrated by Rove.’ ”

And Cindy McCain, the senator’s wife, said she would not stab Rove in the back if he walked by her. “I would stab him in the front,” she reportedly said.

Lauer also read a quote from Matt Latimer, a former Bush speechwriter, who wrote of Rove: “He was what all the liberals said he was, the villain. And to make matters worse, a clumsy one at that. He turned out to be less a Voldemort than a Boris Badenov chasing Rocky and Bullwinkle.”

Rove has quite possibly been the most destructive force in American politics since George McDuffie fabricated the “40 Bales of Cotton” fiction supported by John Calhoon which directly led to the Civil War.

Calhoun, a brilliant orator and writer, was a proponent of Republicanism, which he saw as implying slavery, states’ rights, limited government, and nullification.

Were justice really applicable to all people in this country…

Karl Rove would be sitting in a prison somewhere, convicted of treason for his role in outing a CIA Agent, along with a few of his closest co-conspirators.

The Sno’ Ho’ Doubles Down

Here she goes again!

Former Alaska GOP Gov. Sarah Palin defended her claim that the Democratic health care proposal would create “death panels” in a statement Wednesday night slamming President Barack Obama.

“Yesterday President Obama responded to my statement that Democratic health care proposals would lead to rationed care; that the sick, the elderly and the disabled would suffer the most under such rationing; and that under such a system, these ‘unproductive’ members of society could face the prospect of government bureaucrats determining whether they deserve health care,” Palin wrote in a note on her Facebook page.

“The provision that President Obama refers to is Section 1233 of HR 3200, entitled ‘Advance Care Planning Consultation.’ With all due respect, it’s misleading for the president to describe this section as an entirely voluntary provision that simply increases the information offered to Medicare recipients,” she continued. Brick Wall - Fabio Gramazio and Matthias Kohler of ETH Zurich, who used real brick for an installation at the Venice Biennale

Following the course of the Obama Administration for conservatives must be like picturing running beside a brick wall. Just when they think they are going straight…

They smack into a brick wall like the one above.

President Obama wants to create a new consumer financial protection agency to protect consumers from the massive fraud and abuse that has brought our economy low.

Special Justice for Rethuglys?

This one is beginning to give me a lot of heartburn. Why is Attorney General Holder focusing on cases of prosecutorial misconduct and improper conviction of guilty as hell Rethuglys who got wrist slap sentences from Rethugly judges?

Jails - Great Places for White Collar Criminals

Jails - Great Places for White Collar Criminals

Especially when there are tens of thousands of innocent people sitting behind bars who got bad trials due to overzealous prosecutions, prosecutorial misconduct, racially biased juries, or racist Republican Judges. Folks who, got the book thrown at them because they are the wrong ethnic background or color. People sitting in those prisons for decades…

Instead of just a few months. Read the rest of this entry »
