Charles Blow Unloads on Trumpazoid – ‘Don’t try to force me to fall in line behind an unrepentant bigot’

An illegitimate unrepentant bigot in my view. And insofar as “respecting the presidency” – fuck that. Republicans first – when that happens, I will think about it.

Let him fail. Push him off a cliff. cut the string, fight him, protest him, block him, and don’t participate or support any element of his illegitimate government.

Charles Blow unloads on Trump advocate: ‘Don’t try to force me to fall in line behind an unrepentant bigot’

Appearing on CNN, New York Times columnist Charles Blow took a Trump advocate to task for complaining the discussion about race in America is a media creation, before leaving no doubt about how he feels about the new President-elect.

After former Apprentice contestant, and current Trump sycophant, Andy Dean complained about Van Jones’ appearance Tuesday night talking about the Trump “whitelash” — with Dean calling Jones’ words “offensive’ — he claimed the race issue is a “media fascination.”

Blow set him straight.

“I don’t know what walk of life you have to be in to think that race is a media fascination,” Blow began as Dean tried to interrupt him. “I’m sorry. no I’m sorry. I happen to live in this skin, been doing it for 46 years and I’ll tell you something, this has nothing to do with media, my job, any of that. It has everything to do with the fact that I know my history, I know my family’s history and investigated that and have written a whole book about it. Everything about that history has everything to do with race. Every moment along the way when they worked really hard, and they were prevented from the transference of intergenerational wealth, and that had everything to do with race. Nothing with media, they didn’t even have TVs then.”

“So this concept that we are creating, or somehow living in a past, luxuriating in a race obsession that is great for us because we feel good about is the most insulting thing I could ever hear.”

When panelist Margaret Hoover changed the conversation to giving President-elect Trump the benefit of the doubt and encouraged everyone to be gracious towards him despite his hateful rhetoric and equally horrible behavior during the campaign, Blow drew a line in the sand.

“I don’t want the president to fail,” Blow made very clear. “I respect the presidency, but I do not respect this president.”

“I don’t respect this man about to be the president and don’t want that confused,” he repeated. “I don’t want America to fail but don’t try to force me to fall in line behind an unrepentant bigot — I won’t do that.”

CNN – Charles Blow Destroys Chumph’s Lawn Ornament “Diversity Chair”

This one indeed is going to leave a mark. Charles Blow slices, dices, and eviscerates Trump’s Lawn Jockey.

WATCH: Charles Blow humiliates Trump’s ‘diversity’ chair — ‘You are part of the bigotry’

On Monday night, columnist Charles Blow got heated when discussing Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s condescending outreach to black Americans.

“Donald Trump is a bigot,” Blow said to Trump’s National Diversity Coalition chairman Bruce Lavell during CNN Tonight with Don Lemon.

“Name one statement that you’ve heard Donald Trump say about African-Americans,” challenged Lavell.

“First of all, be quiet,” said Blow, “the way I was quiet when you were talking. That’s how this works. It’s a dialogue.”

“Name one,” pressed Lavell. “Name one.”

After a moment of cross-talking and host Don Lemon urging Lavell to hold his tongue, Blow said in exasperation, “Who is this person? And why is he on TV?”

“Here’s the deal,” he said. “Donald Trump is a bigot. There’s no other way to get around it.”

“Wow,” Lavell said.

“Anybody who accepts that,” he said, “supports it. Anybody who supports it is promoting it — and that makes you part of the bigotry itself. Now you have to decide whether or not you want to be part of the bigotry that is Donald Trump.”

He went on, “You have to decide whether you want to be part of the sexism and misogyny that is Donald Trump. You have to decide whether you want to be part of the bullying that would allow him to make fun of one of my disabled colleagues at theNew York Times. You have to decide that. There is no other space for you. There is no place for you to say, ‘I’m going to put that to the side because I believe in conservative principles.’”

“Your party has now decided that this is your person,” Blow said. “This con man is your front man. And you have to decide whether you’re going to follow that.”

Lavell said, “Well, Charles, I’m sorry that you can’t answer the question.”

“I don’t know you. And I don’t want to talk to you,” Blow responded. “And I don’t want to answer your questions.”

Lavell went on to accuse the Clinton campaign by way of Blow of distorting the public’s perception of Donald Trump.

“I’m not part of the Clinton campaign,” said Blow. “I’m a black man in America. And I know a bigot when I see a bigot. And you are supporting a bigot. And that makes you part of the bigotry that is Donald Trump.”

Charles Blow Eviscerates conservative Bigotry

A teachable moment. Trump continues his racist based attack on President Obama…

To conservative bigots it isn’t about the 100 lives destroyed, because those lives were “others”, and to conservatives less than fully human. It is to conservatives about advancing their hatred of another group of “others” – in this case Muslims. There is little difference between evangelical or fundamentalist christian hatred of Gays, whether it is “Praying away the Gay” or beating it out of them – and the fundamentalist and radical Islamic. They are both rotten fruit from the same diseased tree. You don’t have to be Gay to respect human life. There is no morality or respect for shared humanity in the Chump’s vein of the right wing…Only evil. Hatred and bigotry against one – is hatred against all.

“Like an unchecked cancer, hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity. Hate destroys a man’s sense of values and his objectivity. It causes him to describe the beautiful as ugly and the ugly as beautiful, and to confuse the true with the false and the false with the true.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.

Watch Charles Blow teach Donald Trump a life lesson on spreading hatred in 30 seconds

CNN commentator Charles Blow asserted on Tuesday that Republicans were allowing hate to spread by downplaying the idea that homophobia contributed to the terrorist attack on the Pulse nightclub in Orlando.

On Monday, presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump suggested that President Barack Obama was complicit in the attack on Pulse nightclub in Orlando, saying, “Look, we’re led by a man that either is not tough, not smart, or he’s got something else in mind,”

Speaking on CNN’s New Day, Blow pointed out that Donald Trump had always questioned President Barack Obama’s “identity, his religion, his kind of fealty to this country.”

“If you put it into that sort of context, it is very clear that he means to question his loyalty, his patriotism, whether he has some sort of intimate knowledge of Islamic terror,” Blow said. “And that is outrageous.”

The commentator argued that it was “not sufficient” for Trump supporters to condemn the billionaire’s words while continuing to support him.

“This is a zero sum game, either you fight against hatred or you advance it,” Blow insisted. “Is it correct to say people are distorting a particularly religion, Islam, the Muslim faith? Absolutely. Is it correct to say there is a strand in the faith of people exploiting it to turn people into weapons? Absolutely.”

Blow observed that Americans who hate Muslims contribute to the radicalization of Muslim Americans. He also noted that the people who were criticizing Obama for not saying the words “radical Islam” were same people who refused to bring themselves to say that the attack occurred at a “gay” nightclub.

And then in only 30 seconds, Blow delivered a lesson on how hatred spreads:

We cannot downplay the idea of homophobia being linked to other phobias and other hatreds and other isms, that all of these things are connected, that once you allow yourself to hate one person, once you allow that into your spirit, once you allow that to become part of your and normalized in you, it allows you to hate anyone, to hate everyone, to be able to hurt anyone.”
