Right-Wingette Brietbart Racist Pedophile Milo Booted from CPAC

ANOTHER white-wing racist pedophile.

Here, white-wing darling Milo Yiannopoulos defends men having sex with children.

Even he great white herd has had enough –

Simon & Schuster Cancels Milo Book Deal

Publishing company Simon & Schuster has cancelled a book deal for alt-right personality Milo Yiannopoulos, following the circulation of a video in which he condoned pedophilia. “After careful consideration @simonschuster and its @threshold_books have cancelled publication of Dangerous by Milo Yiannopoulos,” the company’s spokesperson Adam Rothberg tweeted on Monday. Yiannopoulos confirmed the cancellation on Facebook, writing “they cancelled my book.”

The company had previously defended its decision to offer Yiannopoulos a $250,000 book deal, saying that the book would not contain the hate speech for which Yiannopoulos is famous. But after a video of Yiannopoulos condoning sexual relationships between boys and older men went viral Sunday night, the publishing company faced renewed pressure to drop the deal.

CPAC disinvites Milo Yiannopoulos from conservative conference

Organizers of the Conservative Political Action Conference have disinvited professional provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos after a video interview emerged of him appearing to condone pedophilia emerged.

“Due to the revelation of an offensive video in the past 24 hours condoning pedophilia, the American Conservative Union has decided to rescind the invitation of Milo Yiannopoulos to speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference,” ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp said in a statement Monday.

Yiannopoulos, an editor at Breitbart News, said in a Facebook post on Sunday that selective editing resulted in his words being taken out of context and that he does not support pedophilia, according to Mediate.

Well-known on the political fringes, the 32-year old writer has gained more prominence with the ascension of Donald Trump and former Breitbart News executive Steve Bannon into the White House.

It was Yiannopoulos’ appearance at the University of California – Berkeley and the ensuing protests that resulted in his cancellation that drew national attention and a presidential tweet.

“If U.C. Berkeley does not allow free speech and practices violence on innocent people with a different point of view – NO FEDERAL FUNDS?” Trump tweeted after Yiannopoulos’ speech was cancelled after violent protests broke out on the campus.

The reaction was one of the reasons for this appearance at CPAC.

NAACP Sues North Carolina

Hmmmmmmm….At Last! North Carolina has been arbitrarily cancelling voter registrations. You can guess in one of whose registrations are being cancelled.

North Carolina NAACP Sues State Over Voter Suppression

Thousands of voter registrations have been canceled with barely a week to go to Election Day.

The North Carolina NAACP has filed a federal lawsuit to stop county election boards in the state from canceling voter registrations ― in what the group argues is an effort by the state Republican Party to suppress the black vote.

Thousands of voter registrations have already been canceled by election boards in Beaufort, Moore and Cumberland counties because a mailing to the voters’ addresses was returned as undeliverable.

“The Tar Heel state is ground zero in the intentional surgical efforts by Republicans — or extremists who have hijacked the Republican Party — to suppress the vote of voters,” said Rev. William Barber, the North Carolina NAACP president, on Monday. “The NAACP is defending the rights of all North Carolinians to participate in this election.”

The NAACP is also seeking to have the canceled registrations restored.

Many of the voters still live at the addresses listed on their voter registrations or have moved to other residences within the same county, meaning they can still vote in that county, according to the NAACP lawsuit. The complaint argues that canceling those registrations was a violation of the National Voting Registration Act.

Under the NVRA, states may cancel registrations only if a voter provides written notice of a change in address or if a voter does not respond to a notice for two election cycles and fails to vote for two federal election cycles. The act also bars states from removing voters from the rolls 90 days or less before a federal election.

“Voter fraud is not the issue. But voter suppression is real, it’s planned, it’s intentional, and it’s ongoing against the African-American community,” Barber said Monday.

African-Americans have been disproportionately affected by the cancellations. Black voters account for 91 of the 138 canceled registrations (or over 65 percent) in Beaufort County, according to the North Carolina NAACP, even though black people are only 25.9 percent of that county’s population.

At least 3,951 registrations were canceled in Cumberland County, and around 400 were canceled in Moore County.  …Read the Rest Here

Rapper Concert Cancelled for… “Unforeseen Incarceration”

“I’m sorry, but the concert has been cancelled due to unforseen incarceration. However, your tickets will be honored at a make-up concert as soon as we can schedule it.”

“Great! When can  I expect that to be?”

“10-20 years…”

In yet another case of Trump white boy justice being different for “some” folks…the black rapper got a 3 times longer sentence than a white child rapist.

Rapper’s concert performance cancelled due to ‘unforeseen incarceration’

kevin gates mugshot

Publicists for a festival in Louisiana say rapper Kevin Gates has cancelled his performance due to “an unforeseen incarceration.”

The Baton Rouge singer was sentenced Wednesday to 180 days in jail after being convicted of kicking a female fan at a Florida concert last year.

Organizers of the 2016 Voodoo Fest said in a tweet that the artist scratched his performance “due to an unforeseen incarceration.”

News outlets report a Polk County jury found Gates guilty of battery after he was captured on cellphone video kicking 19-year-old Miranda Dixon at Lakeland’s Rumors Nightclub, where he performed last August.

Dixon, who was in the crowd, testified that she tugged on Gates’ pants twice to get his attention for her friend. After the second time, she says Gates kicked her so hard that she fell back and passed out.

Gates’ attorney, Jose Baez, argued his client was battered by the woman before he kicked her and that Dixon has a financial motive in the case, saying that she had a civil lawyer.

The New Orleans Advocate reports Gates was slated to perform on Voodoo’s Pepsi Stage at 8:45 p.m. on Friday. No word yet on who, if anyone, will replace him. He has presumably also scrapped his post-fest show at the House of Blues, which was slated for later Friday night.

Larry Wilmore…Canceled

I guess Larry wasn’t “Fact Free” enough…Or white enough after his praise of President Obama.

Comedy Central Cancels Larry Wilmore’s Show

Comedy Central announced Monday it is canceling Larry Wilmore’s The Nightly Show, and the last episode will air Thursday. Comedy Central President Kent Alterman said the show has not been resonating with the cable channel’s audience. “Even though we’ve given it a year and a half, we’ve been hoping against hope that it would start to click with our audience, but it hasn’t happened and we haven’t seen evidence of it happening,” Alterman said. Wilmore recently headlined the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, where he was roundly criticized for using the n-word. Rory Albanese, a comedian who works on the show, tweeted Monday morning: “I’m very proud to have been a part of a show that has been funny, diverse & extremely necessary.”

PGA Dumps Tournament at Trump Course and Goes to Mexico

Mexico Birdie…Trump double Bogey…

The Trump “brand” is taking a whipping from the reactions to his racist comments. His Hotel bookings are down as much as 62%. His Casino is bankrupt, Major corporations have pulled support for the Republican Convention…

And now in a double slap, the PGA is not only yanking their major Spring event from Trump’s Doral Golf Course after 54 years – but they are moving it “across the wall” to Mexico. And did I mention, Cadillac has dropped sponsorship?

Not to mention the first of several cases against Trump’s fraudulent business practices (Trump University) are getting hot. Next in line is his fake drug supplements.

Golf tournament leaving Trump’s Doral course for Mexico, chairman says

The annual event, in Doral since 1962, is moving to Mexico City

The PGA gave Doral no indication if it will ever return to South Florida

This comes six months after the PGA said it reevaluate the future of the tournament because of Trump’s controversial comments about Muslims

The annual PGA golf tournament at Doral, a staple of South Florida sports for 54 years, is relocating to Mexico City, the tournament’s outgoing chairman said Wednesday.

Butch Buchholz, who ran the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship at Trump National Doral, said the PGA informed him on Tuesday night that it made the decision to leave South Florida because it couldn’t find a title sponsor to replace Cadillac.

“I believe they are sincere when they said they didn’t want to leave an event with a 54-year history,” Buchholz said. “They’ve got an obligation to their board and they couldn’t find a sponsor so they had to move. They don’t have a choice. The PGA Tour didn’t have a choice, If you don’t have a sponsor what can you do?”

Donald Trump foreshadowed the news on an interview with Fox’s Sean Hannity on Tuesday night.

“I mean, I just heard that the PGA Tour is taking their tournament out of Miami and moving it to Mexico as an example,” Trump said. “They’re taking it — it’s at Doral, it’s at — they used one of my places. They’re moving their tournament, it’s the Cadillac World Golf Championship. And Cadillac’s been a great sponsor, but they’re moving it to Mexico. They’re moving it to Mexico City which, by the way, I hope they have kidnapping insurance. But they’re moving it to Mexico City. And I’m saying, you know, what’s going on here? It is so sad when you look at what’s going on with our country.”

The PGA said in December that it would “explore all options regarding the event’s future” in the wake of Trump’s controversial proposal last year to ban Muslim immigrants from entering the United States.

Buchholz said he did not know whether Trump’s comments were the primary reason why the PGA was unable to find a sponsor to replace Cadillac, which informed the tour a year ago that it would not renew.

PGA Tour officials could not immediately be reached.

Trump Cancels Cincinnati Rally

The pushback against Trumps racism and encouragement of KKK tactics against protesters at his rallies is gaining steam. Two days before the Primary in Ohio, Drumph has to cancel another rally, this time in Cincinnati.

Cincinnati Trump rally cancelled after clashes in Chicago

Donald Trump has cancelled a planned rally in Cincinnati, a day after a postponed Chicago rally descended into chaotic clashes between supporters and anti-Trump protesters .

The rally in Cincinnati was due to take place on Sunday afternoon , two days ahead of Tuesday’s Ohio primary, in which the Republican frontrunner will seek to knock Ohio governor John Kasich from the presidential race.

Political leaders on both sides of the party divide, meanwhile, tried to dress wounds that were opened in Chicago. Hillary Clinton said “violence has no place in our politics”, and Republicans John Kasich and Ted Cruz pinned blamed on Trump for the inflammatory rhetoric.

Friday’s Trump event saw myriad protesters, including students and people affiliated with the black lives matter movement, demonstrate against Trump’s policies on immigration and racially tinged rhetoric.

The protest, which produced scuffles and arrests, including that of an Indian American CBS reporter who was charged with resisting arrest, came after days of escalating political rhetoric and violent incidents at Trump events.

Last week a Trump supporter sucker-punched a black protester leaving an event with security. An allegation of assault against a reporter by Trump’s campaign manager is investigated by Florida police.

Trump himself has suggested in recent months that protesters at his events should be “ taken out on stretchers ”, and said he would like to punch a demonstrator in the face.

On Saturday, Trump took to Twitter to say : “The organized group of people, many of them thugs, who shut down our first amendment rights in Chicago, have totally energized America!”

He also told a crowd in Vandalia, Ohio, that his supporters in Chicago “were so nice” and “caused no problem”. He instead blamed “these other people”, naming Bernie Sanders supporters specifically, as the culprits who “taunted” and “harrassed” his fans.

Trump’s Republican rivals were quick to condemn his speech. On Saturday, Marco Rubio, whose last presidential hopes rest with his home state, which also votes on Tuesday, hedged on whether he would support Trump as the Republican nominee.

Addressing reporters ahead of a rally in Largo, Florida , the senator offered a blistering critique of frontrunner’s incitement of violence.

“It’s called chaos, anarchy and that’s what we’re careening toward,” Rubio said. “We are being ripped apart at the seams now, and it’s disturbing. I am sad for this country. This country is supposed to be an example to the world.”

Asked if he would still support Trump if he were the party’s nominee, as he pledged to do at a debate in Detroit a week ago, the senator responded: “I don’t know. I intend to support the Republican nominee, but [it’s] getting harder every day.”

Kasich also appeared to waver on the question of backing Trump, according to reporters with the governor in Sharonville, Ohio, on Saturday. “It makes it extremely difficult,” he said, of the violence in Chicago.

On Friday night, the Texas senator Ted Cruz, Trump’s nearest rival for the nomination, accused the billionaire developer of whipping up tensions.

“When you have a campaign that is accused of physical violence against members of the press,” Cruz said, “you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discord.”

Melissa Harris-Perry and Bad Career Moves

I am beginning to think Melissa Harris Perry (MHP) is living in an alternate universe. I mean, MSNBC isn’t exactly known for standing behind their people. Indeed the Network’s history as at deserting their staff at the least whiff of controversy is well established… I’ve long suggested they got the wrong bird as their logo. It should have been a chicken.

So why would our girl start a public spat with the cowardly peacock? Definitely a career limiting move.

Melissa Harris-Perry is out at MSNBC

Melissa Harris-Perry will not be back on MSNBC.

On Sunday morning, two days after the host’s private fight with management went public, an MSNBC spokesman confirmed that the channel is “parting ways” with her.

Earlier in the morning, Harris-Perry posted a photo on Twitter and said “Farewell #Nerdland,” a nickname for her weekend show, “Melissa Harris-Perry.”

“Inviting diverse new voices to table was a privilege,” she tweeted. “Grateful for years of support and criticism.”

Harris-Perry confirmed to CNNMoney that her representatives are in talks with MSNBC about an exit deal.

Harris-Perry had felt for months like MSNBC was trying to squeeze her off the air and take away her editorial point of view.

On Friday, she spoke out about the treatment, saying she had been “silenced” by MSNBC and placed in a form of cable news purgatory, having been pre-empted for two weekends in a row.

“Our show was taken — without comment or discussion or notice — in the midst of an election season,” she wrote in a letter to staff that was shared with her fans.

MSNBC and its rivals are all trying to squeeze higher ratings out of the chaotic primary season. The channel pre-empted her for campaign coverage with a “Place for Politics” title.

The same thing has happened to other shows, too, MSNBC said in a statement responding to her letter on Friday. The channel called her reaction “surprising, confusing and disappointing.”

But Harris-Perry said the February pre-emptions were merely the most visible manifestation of the channel’s marginalization of her show.

In the letter, she said “no one on the third floor,” where MSNBC’s executives work at 30 Rockefeller Center, “has even returned an email, called me, or initiated or responded to any communication of any kind from me for nearly a month.”
