Black Cop Warns Black Men of White Cops

It isn’t like we haven’t seen a lot of evidence of some white cops escalating what should be a routine stop to murder. In combination with stacked juries and corrupt state prosecutors who protect bad cops from even murder prosecution, this creates a situation for increased violence instead of de escalation.

The problem here, at least to my view, is in large part the training given to cops to use massive force in response to every situation. This approach, instead of any sort of walking a situation down into a non-violent conflict is exacerbated by white cop prejudices and racism.

This black cop who let the cat out of the bag…Better watch his back.

Louisiana Deputy Gets 40 Years In Prison For Killing Boy

Derrick Stafford was convicted in the 2015 killing of a 6-year-old boy who died in a volley of gunfire after the officer chased his father’s car.

A Louisiana deputy marshal was sentenced on Friday to 40 years in prison for the 2015 killing of a 6-year-old boy who died in a volley of gunfire after the officer chased his father’s car.

Derrick Stafford, 33, was convicted by a jury last week of manslaughter and attempted manslaughter in the death of Jeremy Mardis and wounding of his father, Chris Few.

The incident was a “senseless tragedy,” Judge William Bennett said on Friday at the Avoyelles Parish Courthouse here. “The shooting simply should never have occurred.”

The boy’s grandmother, Cathy Mardis, told the court Jeremy “didn’t just die. He died a brutal, miserable, lonely death filled with pain.”

Prosecutors had charged Stafford with second-degree murder in the boy’s death, but a jury by a 10-2 vote convicted him of the lesser charge.

Bennett also sentenced Stafford to 15 years in prison for wounding Few, but ordered those sentences to run concurrently.

At least four bullets ripped through Jeremy when Stafford and another officer, Norris Greenhouse Jr., opened fire on Few’s car at the end of a chase through the small central Louisiana town of Marksville on Nov. 3, 2015.

Body camera footage of the shooting captured by a third officer shows Few, 26, raising his hands through the window as Stafford and Greenhouse opened fire.

Greenhouse was also charged with second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder and is scheduled to go on trial in June.

Black Officer Charged in Dallas Shooting in 3 Days

Wow! It seems the Officers of the Law can be held accountable…If they are black or Asian.

Only took 3 days for the DA to file charges!

Why does this take so long in other places?

Farmers Branch officer charged with murder in off-duty shooting of Dallas teen

Officer Ken Johnson

In a move rarely seen in shootings involving police, an off-duty Farmers Branch officer has been charged with murder three days after fatally shooting a teenager and wounding another.

Officer Ken Johnson, 35, was arrested Wednesday night in the death of Jose Cruz, the Dallas 16-year-old who was shot after an “altercation” Sunday evening in Addison.

Johnson was also charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the shooting of Cruz’s classmate, Edgar Rodriguez, who is expected to survive.

“We had probable cause to make the arrest this evening,” Addison Police Chief Paul Spencer said in a written statement. “But this is a rapidly evolving situation, and it remains an active investigation.”

Johnson used a semi-automatic pistol to shoot Cruz and Rodriguez, according to an affidavit obtained by WFAA (Channel 8). Officers who were dispatched to the 14300 block of Marsh Lane found Johnson standing in the roadway, the affidavit states.

“It was further determined that Cruz’s death was caused by being intentionally shot by Johnson with a firearm,” the affidavit states.

Dallas County judges, however, sealed many of the warrants that were issued related to the case — including Johnson’s arrest warrants and multiple search warrants.

Cruz’s Dodge Challenger, Johnson’s Chevrolet Tahoe and data recorders from both vehicles were some of the items seized, court records say.

Authorities also obtained search warrants Wednesday — also sealed — for video from a business located near the shooting. It is unclear whether the video shows Johnson shooting the teens.

Spencer, the Addison police chief, said Wednesday that he expects several more weeks of investigation. An internal affairs inquiry by the Farmers Branch Police Department is ongoing.

Johnson’s attorney, Chris Livingston, questioned why the charges were filed without the case being presented to a grand jury. It “can only be explained by the fact that my client is a black police officer.”…Read The Rest Here...
