The War Next Time – Armed antifa and White Wing Demonstrators

Loose gun laws are enabling escalating violence – the NRA is getting what it wants to sell more guns.

White wing provocateurs started showing up to campaign events and rallies back in the 2012 election cycle to threaten left wing protesters and demonstrators… The left armed up in response.

Geez…I wonder why?

Antifa, white supremacists exploit loose gun laws

Authorities gird for explosive clashes between heavily armed extremists in American cities.

Domestic extremist groups ranging from white supremacists to their rival “antifa” anarchists are increasingly exploiting loose gun control laws to show up at emotionally charged rallies with assault rifles and other high-powered weapons, increasing the likelihood of an explosive clash in an American city, according to law enforcement officials.

What makes the current threat environment especially combustible are open carry laws in many states that allow civilians to display virtually any gun in public that they want, often with no permit, training or background check required, according to federal and state law enforcement officials who are closely monitoring extremist groups.

“Why would you let someone bring an AR-15 to a hate rally?” former FBI supervisory special agent James Gagliano asked. “It’s absolute insanity.”

Except in Charlottesville, Virginia, and other recent protest events, it wasn’t just one person. It was dozens or even hundreds of people who showed up heavily armed and primed for a fight. More than 1,500 people attended the “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, with one Baltimore man suspected of membership in the Ku Klux Klan later arrested for firing his gun at a crowd of protesters. In Texas, swarms of gun-toting antifa members and white nationalists assaulted each other at several events near the Austin statehouse over the past year. And in Pikeville, Kentucky, more than 150 heavily armed neo-Nazis and white supremacists engaged in a tense standoff with about 100 anti-fascists in April, but the sides were separated by police and dozens of militia members before violence ensued.

Often, they came dressed in camouflage fatigues, tactical armor and Kevlar vests looking like Navy SEAL commandos, so much so that even the local police have mistaken them for U.S. law enforcement or military officers.

Now, authorities are bracing for what they fear could be lethal confrontations at rallies and other public events being planned in cities and towns across the country in the coming months. They say clashes over any number of hotly contested “flashpoint” issues could spark it, including Confederate monuments, immigration, the Trump administration’s so-called Muslim ban and gun control measures.

“The next incident is right around the corner,” said Captain Michael Rinaldi, counterterrorism chief for the New Jersey State Police. “Someone will run someone over, or someone will get shot and there will be a melee and it will gain momentum. There is definitely concern for what you saw in Charlottesville, that you’ll get a group and then counterprotesters and then you’ll have casualties.”

Gagliano, a former senior FBI SWAT team leader and crisis management coordinator in New York, said many of the protesters at recent public events appeared to be better equipped than he was as an FBI tactical agent deployed to Afghanistan after the 9/11 attacks.

“Allowing openly carried weapons at an assembly, where tensions oft run high and counterprotesters now proliferate, is a recipe for disaster,” Gagliano said.

But when the people assembling are from warring factions of domestic extremist groups, he said, “We are simply passing time until the proverbial ‘Hatfield and McCoy’ incident occurs.”

Gagliano was one of several current and former law enforcement officials who said most of their colleagues “support the Second Amendment, but feel that common-sense regulations and restrictions are necessary and sensible,” especially when it comes to laws allowing for open carry and the purchase of guns once limited to police and military officers.

At least 45 states currently now allow some form of open carry, often for long guns that can include assault weapons. A smaller number of states also allow open carry of handguns and concealed carry of guns of various kinds and sizes.

The National Rifle Association, which has aggressively lobbied for open carry laws and against restrictions on gun purchases, did not return numerous phone calls and emails seeking comment.

Armed White Nationalist “Protest” at Houston NAACP Offices

I don’t recall at any time the NAACP holding a protest march with the marchers armed.

Despite being set upon by fire hoses, dogs, police with night sticks, and violent whites.

Kinda tells you the mentality (or lack of) of the white supremacist crowd when they have to carry their “metal manhood” to a protest march,

“Brave” white supremacist types need their metal manhood to protest…

Armed white-supremacists surround Texas NAACP with ‘white lives matter’ signs and Confederate flags

White supremacists surrounded the Houston, Texas NAACP chapter Sunday afternoon while holding a “white lives matter” banner, CW39 Houston reports.

The protesters said that they wanted to voice their concerns amid popularity of the black lives matter movement. They insisted that NAACP leaders and the organization denounce the movement, which they said is responsible for riots and violence in certain cities.

One protester was holding the sign 14 Words, which is a white supremacist slogan meaning, “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.” It comes from the late white supremacist David Lane, who was a member of pro-white terrorist group called The Order.

Those that live in Houston’s 3rd Ward were shocked by the protest and uncomfortable with the use of the Confederate flag. Police were on the scene to prevent any violence but Twitter users still managed to mock the protesters with disgust.

Of course the local Po-Po arrested none of the white protesters threatening with guns.

Y’allQaeda Whimpers About Black Lives Matter

The Whiteisis Cow trumpeters in Oregon seem to be upset about the fact that everyone who isn’t making fun of them…

Is ignoring them.

“Worse treatment” in this case being disowned by the Mormon Church, other Militia Groups, and even the Hammond family who ostensibly were the reason for kicking off their terrorist invasion of a Park Visitor Center.

Oregon Militants Say They’re Getting Worse Treatment Than Black Lives Matter Movement

“They don’t get any backlash, not on the level that we’re getting.”

Members of the armed anti-government group occupying a remote federal building near Burns, Oregon, have some shaky ideas about how they compare to the Black Lives Matter movement, saying that they are suffering far worse treatment.

In the parking lot of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge — which the militants stormed and took over on Saturday in the name of grazing privileges — a man who claimed to be a body guard for the group’s leaders said they are facing worse resistance than Black Lives Matter, a nationwide campaign to end police brutality against people of color.

“The Black Lives Matter movement, they can go and protest, close freeways down and all that stuff, and they don’t get any backlash, not on the level that we’re getting,” said the man, who identified himself as “Fluffy Unicorn.”

“Fluffy Unicorn”?

While acknowledging that police have used force against Black Lives Matter protesters, he also said “their level of protesting is different; we’re not obstructing schools.” (In fact, an Oregon school district has canceled classes this week because of the federal building’s occupation.)

So far, backlash to the occupation has included hashtags like #YallQaeda and #YeeHawd on social media to describe the group’s attempts to defy the federal government.

But many say that authorities are responding with far less urgency to the Oregon occupation than to Black Lives Matter protests. In Ferguson, Missouri, for example, marches condemning police violence against African-Americans prompted aresponse by the National Guard.

Federal authorities said they do not want to escalate the situation in Oregon and have no immediate plans to rush in to retake the building due to its remote location and the fact that the occupation doesn’t appear to be a life-or-death situation.

Critics say that temperate response highlights a double standard in how authorities respond to threats from white people versus black people. Salon highlighted both 12-year-old Tamir Rice and Eric Garner’s deaths as examples:

A black 12-year-old boy who was guilty of the “crime” of playing with a toy gun in an “open carry” state was summarily executed by local police.

A black man who was selling loose cigarettes on a street corner in order to help support his family was choked to death by police while he screamed “I can’t breathe.”

White folks can brandish real weapons, steal public resources, engage in acts of terrorism and insurrection, and threaten to kill the police and other State authorities with little if any consequences.

Meanwhile, on Monday, occupation leader Ammon Bundy — a son of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, who led a rebellion against federal law enforcement officers in 2014 — likened his group’s objective to that of the Black Lives Matter movement.

I hope Ammon and Fluffy have a great time camping out together and presumably “bonding” as “true Patriots” in the Visitor’s center – but I don’t recall BLM Protesters coming armed to the teeth to any protest march – or even asking those protesting to “bring their guns”.

What this whole issue is about is white folks Welfare. The Federal government allows these miscreants and Western Welfare Queens to farm, log, and graze cattle, as well as hunt on Federal owned land for free, or at ridiculously low rates. As seen in the Cliven Bundy case, these lollygagging nitwits won’t even pay nominal fees after utilizing Federal Land (our land) to raise thousands of cattle over decades, which they would not have been able to do otherwise.

Is the mass of paperwork and bureaucracy of the Federal Government a pain in the ass to deal with? Absolutely. But that doesn’t call for whipping out you Glock substitute manhood to take possession of a facility which belongs to all Americans.

And if Armed Black Folks Occupied a Building?

Answer –

SO…Now we have armed white guys, who are part of a Militia “occupying” a Federal Building in Eastern Oregon.

You think they are going to drop a bomb to get them out?

The motivating factor here is greed, not race. The group, many of the same people who came out to support Cliven Bundy last year who owed more than $1 million in lease fees for grazing his cattle on our Federal Land want to farm or graze Federal Land for free. In other words they want to be able to use the land, while the rest of us who pay the upkeep, pay for the Fire Department to go out to put out fires they have started, an they hunt illegally – all in the cause of their “freedom”.

The Malheur is a nesting and migratory area for hundreds of bird species, including these whooping cranes.

Gunmen Seize Federal Building In Oregon

The men include at least two sons of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and have said they’ll stay for “years.”

A group of gunmen seized control of an empty federal building in remote Burns, Oregon, on Saturday, announced they planned to occupy the facility for “years” and called for “patriots” to join them — and bring more guns. The men now occupying the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge building include at least two sons of Cliven Bundy, the rancher whose legal battle with the government over grazing rights culminated in an armed standoff with federal authorities near Bunkerville, Nevada, in 2014.

“We’re planning on staying here for several years,” Ammon Bundy said in a videoposted to Facebook Saturday. “We’re calling people to come out here and stand…. We have a place for you to stay warm. We have food planned and prepared. We need you to bring your arms. And we need you to come to the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.” His brother Ryan Bundy told The Oregonian’s Ian Kullgren the militiamen are “willing to kill and be killed if necessary,” Kullgren tweeted Saturday.

The Bundys and other militia members have gathered in Burns in recent weeks to protest the return to prison of Dwight Hammond Jr. and his son Steven, two local ranchers who were convicted in 2012 of arson, imprisoned, released and given new, harsher sentences last year. But there’s no evidence the Hammonds are involved in the occupation of the federal building, and they told The Oregonian through their attorneys on Sunday that they plan to return to prison on Monday as ordered. “Neither Ammon Bundy nor anyone within his group/organization speak for the Hammond Family,” W. Alan Schroeder, a lawyer for the family, wrote to Burns Sheriff David Ward, CBS News reported Sunday.

The Malheur is a high mountain valley, with plenty of water and marshland. There isn’t anything there in the High Desert for Logging

Nor does the local community support the militia’s actions. “The majority of Burns does not want him here,” Sarah Spurlock, a Burns resident who interviewed Ammon Bundy on Saturday, told The Huffington Post via Facebook message. “There are a handful that do, but they are few compared to those that don’t.” At a community meeting Friday night, Burns residents told militia members who had traveled there to support the Hammonds they worried confrontation with the government could lead to violence. “We are not coming into your town to shoot it up,” Brandon Curtiss, an Idaho militia leader, promised, according to The Oregonian’s Les Zaitz. “We won’t fire anything unless we’re fired upon.” Curtiss told The Oregonian Sunday he “knew nothing” about the occupation of the federal facility.

In recent statements, the Bundys have de-emphasized the Hammonds, instead focusing on their plan to restore eastern Oregon’s economy by forcing the federal government to hand over federal lands to local ranchers, miners and loggers.

The federal lands that the Bundys and their compatriots argue should be “returned” to the local, overwhelmingly white population were once part of a reservationestablished by President Ulysses S. Grant for the Northern Paiute, an American Indian tribe. The Northern Paiute still live on a now much-smaller reservation north of Burns.

This is the unused Park Headquarters Building seized by the terrorist militia

This most recent incident is only the latest confrontation between the federal government and the militia movement, which gained popularity among conservative ideologues in the aftermath of the 1992 Ruby Ridge incident and the 1993 Waco siege, two of the most infamous and deadly standoffs involving federal agents in U.S. history. During the tense Ruby Ridge standoff in northern Idaho, three people died, including a deputy U.S. marshal, as authorities attempted to apprehend a white separatist for failing to appear in court for selling illegal sawed-off shotguns. In Waco, Texas, 76 people died during a 51-day siege after federal officials stormed a fortified religious compound led by David Koresh and his group of Branch Davidian Seventh Day Adventists in an attempt to apprehend Koresh for stockpiling weapons. Both incidents prompted congressional inquiries into use of force by federal officials.

Who’s occupying the building?

We don’t know much about who’s occupying the building. The Bundys initially claimed they had around 150 people there, but a reporter who managed to get close spotted about a dozen. Videos from the scene have depicted Ammon Bundy. Ryan Bundy has spoken to reporters about the occupation. Militia leader Blaine Cooper and Ryan Payne, an Iraq war vet, are both involved in the occupation, according to The Oregonian. Both men have said they were involved in the 2014 Bundy ranch standoff. Last year, the Missoula Independent published an extensive profile of Payne.

Jon Ritzheimer, another militia member, posted a video to YouTube calling people to come to Burns and “take a stand.”

A Bobcat Kitten photographed at Malheur.

“I am 100 percent willing to lay my life down to defend against tyranny in this country,” Ritzheimer said. “We need real men here… Americans who have the intestinal fortitude to come here and take a stand and say enough is enough…. To my family, just know that I stood for something. Don’t let it be in vain. I love you.”

How are local, state, and federal authorities responding?

The building the gunmen seized is closed for the holiday weekend. So far, law enforcement is staying away. One Oregon State Police car was spotted idling outside Burns, according to Oregon Public Broadcasting. An FBI spokeswoman told HuffPost the agency was aware of the situation. A U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service spokesperson told CNN that federal officials, including the Bureau of Land Management, are monitoring the situation….More Here
