Rules of the Illuminati Noir

I have no idea whether once finishing this site, whether anyone, or even very many people will find it’s content interesting enough to come back, or to stay and engage in a few comments.

Did I mention I collect Black Americana?

Did I mention I collect Black Americana?

However, with that said – I’d like to establish a few Rules of the Illluminati Noir –

Unlike notoriously thin skinned black conservatives, being a progressive means having a pretty thick skin. Mild cuss words if you feel the need. The “f” bomb, the “b” bomb – I’ll delete. And no,  I don’t want to hear about what position you wish you had sex in last night or which you’d like someone who disagrees with you to take.

SPAMjamming – I have been around the blogsphere long enough to have seen a few posters who throw up mass volumes of totally inane crud over multiple posts in an attempt to flood the discussion.  Say what you have to say.. But don’t stink up the joint.

Trolls – Black blogsphere- trolls… Enough said.

And if you say it…

You probably should be able to back it up with references.

Other than that, spirited discussion is welcome.

BT: This is Dragon Horse. I”m starting a new BBS about genetics/DNA/ and historic and contemporary group based politics. You are welcome to join, comment, re-post articles from your own site, etc. As long as you follow the rules of the site (which are not complex). I would appreciate your input. Most sites like this on the net are dominated by white supremacist or radical mulatto types. I want to find a median.

I realize you have a “agenda” as with everyone else, that’ s fine, but you can’t “advocate” for a group. That does not mean you can’t break someone down who is lying on, lying about, or lying to black folks, etc. I called that “teaching”. 🙂 My site is about learning/teaching. 🙂

Thanks for inviting me. I tend to listen for a while before I jump in. So I’ll cruise by and see what’s going on.

Wander the antiques shops – and you will find those all over the place, Brian. Leftovers from another time.

    BT:

This is your girl Bindersoff; I have taken my activism to a new level here in my Southern Town. I am still blogging about livingwithms, but for the moment most of my time has been taken up by blogging about living in Millington. I am hitting a nerve and I know it. As long as they do not take my birthday away, I am going to keep doing what I am doing. It is time to grasp the moment; the good ole boys are falling by the waist side six feet under.

The next election is an opportunity to seize the moment and seat someone in the Mayor’s chair that will change the dynamic in Millington. If you are a praying man pray for me otherwise wish me luck.

    p.s.

I am new blogging using wordpress; it is a lot different from blogosphere. However, it has only been since November, I am sure I will get my page together as it is here 🙂

Is it okay for me to use some sections of your Rules of Illuminati Noir?

Cool. Will do. Several companies working for me on a large construction project are based in Memphis. This last one was a wine and dine trip for clients – and showing them what we are building there locally. Got to drive a runway paving machine at the airport! Was big fun!

I will be back and forth on a regular basis as our project moves from the design to the construction phase.

I tried to post via the iPad site. The dialog allows me enter my email, user name and website in their respective boxes, but not the comment box. In fact, the box is grayed out, can’t click in. If I click the post comment button, the systems tells me I need to enter a comment in the comment field.

so take a look at it and see what you think

Btx3, sorry if my comment here on the Beer Shutdown pushed the envelope language-wise. I appreciate the work you’re doing here and didn’t mean any disrespect.

Tom – That is no problem. This is a fairly open board. Mild cussing sin’t going to upset my mostly adult audience.
