Former Congressional Black Caucus Cabaret Queen’s New Stylish Orange Jumpsuit

Former CBC Cabaret Queen Corrine Brown has been convicted of fraud and larceny in the stealing of hundreds of thousands of dollars from a fake charity she set up supposedly to provide scholarships to underprivileged black kids. She used the money to (what else) throw big parties.

Her next party attire will be the ever so stylish… Orange Jumpsuit.

Former U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown Convicted Of Stealing From Phony Charity

Former U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown has been found guilty of siphoning hundreds of thousands of dollars from a charity that she and her chief of staff had passed off as a scholarship service for students. The Florida Democrat had faced 22 counts ranging from conspiracy to tax fraud; she was convicted of 18.

Of the more than $800,000 she and Elias “Ronnie” Simmons raised for One Door for Education, member station WJCT reports that just $1,200 actually went where they told donors it would: students’ education. In roughly five years, prosecutors say, the charity distributed just two scholarships.

Prosecutors alleged — and on Thursday, the jury agreed — that Brown and Simmons pocketed the rest of the funds, using them for lavish events such as a golf tournament and luxury boxes for an NFL game and a Beyonce concert.

WJCT has more from the courtroom:

“Assistant U.S. Attorneys Tysen Duva and Eric Olshan painted Brown as an egotistical politician who lived beyond her means. Using bank records, checks, letters, emails and hundreds of other documents, prosecutors made the case Brown directed the deposit of $37,000 of One Door cash into her account. They also claimed she was instrumental in planning nine events that cost the sham charity $330,000.”

Brown had argued that the fraud was entirely the doing of Simmons, who earlier pleaded guilty and testified against her. Brown didn’t speak after the verdict was rendered, but her attorney James Smith told reporters, “I still have a lot of work to do on this case,” referring to the sentencing phase and the motion he plans to file for a new trial.

WJCT’s Ryan Michael Benk reports the sentencing phase could take 90 days or longer for Brown, who left office earlier this year after losing her re-election bid in the district she had represented for nearly a quarter-century.

Kamala Harris Calls for Grand Dragon Sessions Resignation

Former California Attorney General, now Senator Kamala Harris want Sessions’ head on a pike…Sessions is a criminal, having committed perjury at his Senate confirmation hearings.

Having Sessions as the head of the DOJ, is no different than appointing Al Capone as Sheriff. Second, Sessions is actively involved in covering up the Chumph’s criminal activity. And as such is a criminal co-conspirator.

Charge him, arrest him, try him, convict him…And hang him for treason with Putin’s Bitch and the rest of the Chumph scum/

Kamala Harris: Jeff Sessions must resign

Speaking to CNN”s Jake Tapper on Thursday afternoon, Senator Kamala Harris of California renewed Democratic calls for Attorney General Jeff Sessions to resign over the firing of FBI director James Comey.

“There is good reason to believe that he was not truthful when he testified before Congress,” Harris said, in reference to Sessions’s confirmation hearing, during which he said under oath that he had no communications with Russian officials during the 2016 presidential campaign.

It was subsequently reported that Sessions met on two occasions with Russian ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak. Sessions had recused himself in March from the inquiry into improper contacts between Donald Trump’s campaign and the Kremlin. Yet it was Sessions, along with deputy Rod Rosenstein, who recommended that Trump fire Comey—who was investigating the Trump-Russia ties. (Kislyak met with Trump on Wednesday, just hours after Comey was fired.)

The public nature of the Russia investigation infuriated Trump, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal:

The more James Comey showed up on television discussing the FBI’s investigation into possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia, the more the White House bristled, according to aides to President Donald Trump.

Harris, who has been an outspoken critic of Trump and is rumored to have presidential ambitions, told Tapper that Sessions’s complicity in the Comey firing “calls into question his objectivity, and his ability to keep his word.”

Her calls for Sessions to resign were seconded by her Democratic colleague Ron Wyden of Oregon.

Another Trumpazoid Busted for Election Fraud

Seems every few days another Republican gets busted for election fraud…

BUSTED: Former Colorado Republican Party chairman charged with voter fraud in 2016 election

The former chairman of the Colorado Republican Party has been charged with forgery and voter fraud for forging and using his wife’s mail-in ballot from last year’s election, reports FOX31.

Steven Curtis served as chairman of the state GOP between 1997 to 1999 was initially charged Feb. 1 with one count of forgery of a public record, a fifth-degree felony, and an elections mail-in ballot offense, a misdemeanor. He appeared in court Tuesday morning.

According to the criminal complaint,  Curtis tampered with a 2016 General Election mail-in ballot, signing his wife’s name which led to the forgery charge.

Curtis currently works as a radio talk show host and is notable for telling local station KLZ 560 before last year’s election, “It seems to be, and correct me if I’m wrong here, but virtually every case of voter fraud I can remember in my lifetime was committed by Democrats.”

If convicted, Curtis faces a maximum of between 1 and 3 years in jail on the forgery charge and up to 18 months and a $5,000 fine on the misdemeanor fraud charge.

Communications Between Chumph Camp and Russian Spies Confirmed!

Confirming Putin’s Bitch was in communication with his master! Confirming the Chumph’s Treason.

Even better, one of Putin’s agents was caught, and is in jail in Spain.

Report: Investigators Intercepted Russian Communications With Trump Associates

Late tonight, the New York Times reported that anonymous intelligence sources are confirming they’ve intercepted communications and financial transactions from Russia which may link Trump associates to Russian officials.

Paul Manafort is a focus, as is Carter Page and Roger Stone.

The counterintelligence investigation centers at least in part on the business dealings that some of the president-elect’s past and present advisers have had with Russia. Mr. Manafort has done business in Ukraine and Russia. Some of his contacts there were under surveillance by the National Security Agency for suspected links to Russia’s Federal Security Service, one of the officials said.

Mr. Manafort is among at least three Trump campaign advisers whose possible links to Russia are under scrutiny. Two others are Carter Page, a businessman and former foreign policy adviser to the campaign, and Roger Stone, a longtime Republican operative.

This may be the most chilling part of the entire report — the reasons why they’re leaking it now:

Representatives of the agencies involved declined to comment. Of the half-dozen current and former officials who confirmed the existence of the investigations, some said they were providing information because they feared the new administration would obstruct their efforts. All spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the cases.

Update: AP is also reporting that one of the hackers wanted in connection with the DNC hack has been arrested in Spain.

Spanish officials say a Russian computer programmer wanted by the United States on hacking allegations has been jailed while a decision is made on whether to extradite him.

The National Court said Thursday that Stanislav Lisov, 31, was jailed Jan. 13 after Civil Guard police arrested him at Barcelona airport on an FBI warrant issued though Interpol.

The court said a Madrid judge questioned him by videoconference over charges of criminal conspiracy in connection with electronic and computer fraud for which he is wanted by the U.S. It said he was ordered jailed because of the seriousness of the offenses and the risk of him fleeing justice as he had done previously in the United States.

Chaka Fattah…Ten Years in the Pokey

Depressing to see Chaka Fattah get 10 years, for what a white Republican would get 5 years, with all but 2 weeks suspended…and a hand slap.

Doesn’t mean I am unhappy to see him convicted, and sentenced for a long term, as his fraud hurt the community he represented, and amateurish even by the pathetic standard of the US House. Enjoy your next few years in Club Fed!

Rep. Chaka Fattah, D-Pa., walks after leaving the federal courthouse in Philadelphia, Tuesday, June 21.

Former Democratic Rep. Chaka Fattah (Pa.) was sentenced to 10 years in prison Monday by a federal judge in Philadelphia.

Fattah, 60, served 22 years in Congress before losing a Democratic primary in April.

Fattah was convicted in June on a number of federal corruption charges, including bribery, racketeering, money laundering, bank fraud, mail and wire fraud, and filing false statements. The long-running criminal scheme was related to paying back a loan from Fattah’s unsuccessful run for Philadelphia mayor in 2007.

The Pennsylvania Democrat’s son, Chaka Fattah Jr., is already in prison on bank and tax fraud charges. The younger Fattah is serving a five-year sentence.

“Those in high places will certainly know what happens in this courtroom today,” said U.S. District Judge Harvery Bartle, III, as he sentenced Fattah, according to WPVI, a Philadelphia TV station.

Bartle noted that Fattah and his wife, a TV news anchor, made more than $500,000 in combined income, placing them in the top 1 percent of Americans.

“While you have done much good, you also engaged in grave and widespread criminal activity,” Bartle added. “You abused your trust, time and time again.”

Fattah told Bartle that he had helped “tens of millions of people” during his time in office, despite the crimes he’d been convicted of committing.

“I’ve helped tens of millions of people,” Fattah said. “[That] has nothing to do with the fact that I’ve been found on the wrong side of these questions by a jury.”

While it was one the harshest sentences ever handed out to a one-time member of Congress, federal prosecutors had asked for a longer term behind bars. The Justice Department wanted Fattah incarcerated for 17 to 21 years.

Fattah was a former state lawmaker and Philadelphia official who was elected to Congress in 1994. He won a seat on the powerful Appropriations Committee, where he was able to steer millions of dollars in earmarks back home.

Yet despite his safe congressional seat, Fattah always wanted to be a power player back home in Philadelphia, where he was born, and it was this desire that ultimately led to his downfall and federal conviction.

Fattah’s criminal acts were part of a years-long scheme related to his unsuccessful bid to become mayor of Philadelphia. Fattah and several of his co-defendants, who include former campaign and congressional aides, obtained an illegal $1 million loan for him during the 2007 mayor’s race. Once he lost that race and faced a large debt, Fattah and his inner circle illegally used federal and charitable funds to help repay the loan. Fattah and the other co-conspirators submitted false billing statements to his mayoral campaign in order to keep the loan secret.

In addition, Fattah received bribes from Herbert Vederman, a former deputy mayor of Philadelphia who served as an aide to his mayoral campaign. Fattah used the money to pay personal expenses, including his taxes.

In return, Fattah reportedly pushed for an ambassadorial position for Vederman or for appointment to the U.S. Trade Commission, including hand-delivering a letter to President Barack Obama on the issue. Fattah also hired Vederman’s girlfriend in his Capitol Hill office.

The FBI spent years investigating Fattah, and it long looked as if he would escape federal indictment. But he was charged in 2015, and then convicted on all counts the following year.

BLM Protest Growing as HS Kids Follow Kaepernick

This is beginning to spread like wildfire…

Entire High School Football Team Kneels During National Anthem

“We haven’t seen this level of athlete activism in nearly half a century. This is a movement,” one expert said.

A San Francisco high school football team took a knee during the national anthem on Saturday to protest racial injustice, following in the footsteps of 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

All players ― Latino, white, Asian and black ― knelt before the game, the San Francisco Chronicle reported Thursday.

“This is for helping everybody else in the world to understand that black people and people of color are going though difficulties and they need help,” 17-year-old Mission High School quarterback Niamey Harris reportedly told his teammates prior to kickoff. “It’s not going to take care of itself.”

Harris said his team would also kneel for a game on Friday.

Though some are trying to dilute and silence the protest Kaepernick started, it’s refreshing to see how people across the sports world ― including high schoolers ― have joined him.

On Monday, Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) accused Kaepernick of “activism sympathetic to ISIS.” It’s unclear whether the lawmaker also thinks the students at Mission High School are terrorists.

In any case, Harris and the boys at Mission have a slew of local and national athletes behind them. NFL teams from the Seattle Seahawks to the Miami Dolphins have knelt, stood arm-in-arm or raised their fists in solidarity. Three black volleyball players from West Virginia University Tech knelt before a game. Professional soccer player Megan Rapinoe joined in (though U.S. Soccer has aired its frustrationwith her protest). The list goes on.

These athletes haven’t just started a discussion ― they’ve inspired action. The 49ers announced plans to donate $1 million to charities focused on racial issues after Kaepernick pledged $1 million of his own money to underserved communities. Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall pledged $300 for every tackle he makes to local organizations “that benefit the Denver community and others through the services, awareness and funds they provide for these critical social issues.”

And their advocacy shows no signs of stopping.

“Throughout the nation, athletes on different levels are finding their voice and recognizing that they have a platform,” Jeremi Duru, a professor of sports law at American University’s law school in Washington, told the Chronicle. “We haven’t seen this level of athlete activism in nearly half a century. This is a movement.”

Republicans and Kiddies

Think the States with the “Bathroom Bills” would be better off banning Republicans from being around small children. For real cases of molesation, it takes the right wing fanatics.

Former Georgia GOP county chairman arrested for molesting children as young as 4-years-old

Joseph Russell Dendy via Cobb County Sheriff's Dept.

The former chairman of the Cobb County Republican Party was taken into custody on Friday after being accused of molesting a several children, including one boy who was only 4-years-old at the time.

Joseph Russell Dendy, 71, was arrested at his home and charged with aggravated child molestation and child molestation, both felonies, for incidents dating back to 2007, reports AJC.com.

According to police, Dendy is also wanted by the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office in Michigan, as well as the Laurens Police Department in South Carolina based upon sexual abuse accusations in those states.

Police documents state that Dendy allegedly molested two boys, ages 4 and 12, in  separate incidents at his home. One of Dendy’s accusers, now 20, went to the authorities and stated that  he was molested in 2007 or 2008, when he was 12 or 13 years old. The second victim said Dendy molested him in December 2011.

Dendy served two, two-year terms as leader of the Cobb GOP before stepping down last year.

The former Republican leader is currently being held in the

Two Tennessee ministers caught seeking underage girls for sex in sting operation

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announced that two of the men caught in a sting operation to catch people seeking underage prostitutes were ministers of local churches.

Knoxville’s Jason Kennedy, 46, was a minister at Grace Baptist Church in Karns, but he wasn’t fired until after the charges were revealed by the TBI, according to WBIR.

“Jason was a guy that talked so much about his wife and how much he loved her, and she talked about how she loved him and their three children. I mean, they were a great family,” Senior Pastor Ron Stewart said about the alleged child pedophile.

“The actions of the children’s pastor for which he has been arrested were part of his life outside the church,” the church said in a statement. “We have received no questions or concerns related to his conduct within the church or its ministries.”

Kennedy was one of 32 people arrested in a Knoxville human trafficking operation. He responded to ads soliciting sex for an hour with two prostitutes under the age of 18. One of the girls was 15-years-old.

“We are praying for his family and will continue to provide the services of our ministry to them,” the church said.

Zubin Parakh, 32, is the pastor at LifeHouse Church, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel. The church lists him as the “creative pastor.” He was arrested along with Kennedy at the Best Western in Knoxville.
