The CHUMPh Trots Out Racist Meme of “Lazy Brown Folks” About Puerto Rico Disaster

Yep…He went there. “The disaster is those lazy Spanish speaking brown folks fault.”

Never mind the disaster in Houston was largely the very white corrupt Republican’s fault.

We got to get rid of this racist POS – soonest. Mueller – it is time to start prosecuting this traitorous POS and his cronies, convicting them…

And sending the off to jail or hanging them.

The Mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico – Carmen Yulin Cruz, wades through the flood waters in an attempt to locate those who are trapped.

‘Unfit for office’: Trump’s latest ‘racist victim blaming’ tantrum blaming ‘lazy’ Puerto Ricans shocks the Internet

On Saturday morning, President Donald Trump rose early at his New Jersey golf resort and tweeted insults at San Juan, Puerto Rico Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz, as well as insults to citizens on the American territory at large.

“Such poor leadership ability by the Mayor of San Juan, and others in Puerto Rico, who are not able to get their workers to help,” the president tweeted. “They want everything to be done for them when it should be a community effort.”

He went on to say that “the military and first responders, despite no electric, roads, phones etc., have done an amazing job. Puerto Rico was totally destroyed,” doubling down on rhetoric that many believe blames Puerto Rico for their own devastation in the wake of Hurricane Maria.

In response to the president, many pointed out the apparent bigotry in Trump’s comments.

“This is one of the most horrible, racist, despicable things Trump has ever said,” journalist Shaun King wrote of Trump’s comments alluding to the laziness of the Puerto Rican people.

Others pointed out that Trump’s criticism of Puerto Ricans amid their suffering was an example of victim blaming.

“Trump is victim blaming Puerto Rico via twitter (they have no power so can’t see) at his golf course,” artist Bryan Brinkman commented.

AF Academy General Unloads on Racist Students

Ain’t gonna have this shit here. Air Force Academy head makes perfectly clear white-wing racist bullshit will not be tolerated.

Now if only a few of our corporate leaders had this sort of titanium balls.

‘You Should Be Outraged,’ Air Force Academy Head Tells Cadets About Racism On Campus

After racial slurs were scrawled outside black students’ doors at the U.S. Air Force Academy’s preparatory school, Superintendent Lt. Gen. Jay Silveria gathered all 4,000 cadets in a hall Thursday so they could hear one message: Treat people with dignity and respect — or get out.

“That kind of behavior has no place at the prep school, it has no place at USAFA, and it has no place in the United States Air Force,” Silveria said, in a speech that has found an enthusiastic reception after it was recorded and published online. “You should be outraged not only as an airman, but as a human being.”

Speaking to a crowd of some 5,500 people that included faculty, coaches, airstrip personnel, and senior officers and staff of the 10th Air Base Wing that includes the academy, Silveria urged them not to let their institution be taken away from them.

“The appropriate response for horrible language and horrible ideas — the appropriate response is a better idea,” Silveria said. “So that’s why I’m here. That’s why all these people are here.”

Both the academy and the Air Force amplified Silveria’s message through videos and tweets drawing on his speech.

The academy is investigating an incident involving the N-word from earlier this week, when, as local newspaper The Gazette reports, “five black students woke up Tuesday to find ‘Go Home’ followed by the epithet scrawled on message boards outside their rooms.”

The Gazette, based in Colorado Springs, Colo., south of the school’s base, adds, “Sources at the academy said there appeared to be a single vandal involved, judging by the handwriting.”

While acknowledging that the academy isn’t a perfect institution, Silveria said it would be naïve not to speak about racism — and that it would be tone-deaf not to do so in the current climate in America, including racist demonstrations in Charlottesville, Va., and elsewhere.

The Air Force Academy draws people from all races, the superintendent said, and from all walks of life, all parts of the country, all genders and upbringings.

“The power of that diversity comes together and makes us that much more powerful,” Silveria said. “That’s a much better idea than small thinking and horrible ideas.”

Toward the end of his address, Silveria said:

“Just in case you’re unclear on where I stand on this topic, I’m going to leave you my most important thought today: If you can’t treat someone with dignity and respect, then you need to get out. If you can’t treat someone from another gender, whether that’s a man or a woman, with dignity and respect, then you need to get out. If you demean someone in any way, then you need to get out. And if you can’t treat someone from another race, or different color skin, with dignity and respect, then you need to get out.”

Those in the room listened in silence. To make sure his message was received and taken away, Silveria told cadets and others present to get out their phones and record it. Citing the need for the group to have moral courage and protect their institution’s values, he then repeated his message: “If you can’t treat someone with dignity and respect, then get out.”

Kareem Cuts Loose

This IS – the Second American Revolution. Hopefully we can get rid of the hater in the white’s only house peacefully.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar compares NFL fight to American Revolution

Weighing in on the simmering debate over football players kneeling during the national anthem, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar slammed President Trump and those who have criticized high-paid players for their apparent lack of gratitude.

“That’s pretty much what the British said about the leaders of the American Revolution — the wealthy were making money by colluding with the British, so they should just be grateful. Fortunately, those leaders couldn’t be bought off,” Abdul-Jabbar said.

“The implication here is that black athletes should be grateful that they’ve been invited to dine with the white elites and if they want to keep their place at the table, they should keep dancing and smiling and keep their mouths shut. The myth of the Happy Negro needs to be dispelled once and for all.”

In two interviews with International Business Times, the NBA legend said that he is encouraged that athletes are unifying in protest against racism that is “getting worse under the current administration” and against “the attempt to curtail the First Amendment by a rich, entitled white man who thinks only he should be allowed to speak freely.”

Responding to IBT questions on Sept. 26, after a weekend in which the NFL protests had accelerated, Abdul-Jabbar praised the now-unemployed quarterback who started the “Take the Knee” movement a year ago.

“It’s to Colin Kaepernick’s credit that he was willing to protest institutional racism when he was almost alone and without much power,” Abdul-Jabbar said. “His goal was to make America aware that there is an underlying racism present and that we need to address it. President Trump’s statements at Charlottesville and about the NFL proved to many Americans that Colin was right. It’s a testament to the bravery and commitment of all those other players, coaches, and owners across all sports who have joined in the protest.”

The former Lakers center — who remains the league’s all-time leading scorer — is no stranger to protest. He attended the famous “Ali Summit,” in which he and other high-profile athletes stood in solidarity with Muhammed Ali as the boxer refused to be drafted into the Vietnam War. He also boycotted the 1968 Olympics. In recent years, he has written books and columns about political issues — and has publicly tangled with Trump. During the presidential campaign, Trump sent Abdul-Jabbar a handwritten noteslamming a column he wrote in the Washington Post.

Abdul-Jabbar denounced Trump for saying protesting athletes should be fired.

“I can think of instances when a president’s opinion could be worthwhile, especially when trying to uphold principles of the Constitution or the well-being of the players,” Abdul-Jabbar told IBT. “However, Trump’s comments are direct attacks on the constitutional principles of free speech. For someone who has sworn to uphold the Constitution, this is either an example of immense ignorance or willful treason.”

But asked whether sports team owners should be allowed to fire players for speaking out on political issues, Abdul-Jabbar acknowledged owners’ potential concerns.

“Sports teams are a business and business owners have the right to punish players who the owners think might be harming their business,” Abdul-Jabbar told IBT. “There is a risk when a player chooses to protest. Hopefully, the owners will take into consideration what is being protested and the passive, non-violent method of protest.

“Two things are being protested right now. The original issue of systemic racism is still around and getting worse under the current administration. But the second issue that has brought so many athletes together is the attempt to curtail the First Amendment by a rich, entitled white man who thinks only he should be allowed to speak freely.”

Abdul-Jabbar also addressed the issue of white privilege, responding to a quote from Spurs coach Gregg Popovich, who recently said: “Race is the elephant in the room, and we all understand that unless it is talked about constantly, it is not going to get better. … People have to be made to feel uncomfortable; especially white people. We still have no clue of what being born white means.”

“Coach Popovich is absolutely right and he stated it eloquently,” Abdul-Jabbar told IBT. “Many white Americans are aware that white privilege is embedded in American society and are eager to fix this disparity. Others have been affected negatively by the economy so it’s hard to see how they have any privilege when they are struggling so much. Naturally, it angers them to be told they have an advantage yet still are fighting for survival. It’s like blaming them for not being more successful.

Republican Blasts Chumph Racism!

Steve Schmidt, Republican strategist for a number of Republicans, including the Hoh McCain Presidential campaign lets loose on the Chumph bigot!

To Yellowbelly Republicans, and Yellowback Democrats, here is a reminder –

He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it. Martin Luther King, Jr.
