New Poll Shows Chumph Approval Slip Slidin’ Away

Ain’t nobody happy with the Chumph right now but racists, fools, syncopates, and his dozen or so porch Negroes.

New poll shows Trump slipping further, even among Republicans

The latest Quinnipiac poll, released yesterday, includes all kinds of bad news for Donald Trump. His overall approval rating, for example, has fallen to just 37%, his lowest to date, and a depth of support with no modern precedent for a president just two months into his first term.

But just as interesting as the topline results are some of the specific details. From the pollster’s report:

President Trump is losing support among key elements of his base:

* Men disapprove 43 – 52 percent, compared to a 49 – 45 percent approval March 7;
* Republicans approve 81 – 14 percent, compared to 91 – 5 percent two weeks ago;
* White voters disapprove 44 – 50 percent, compared to a narrow 49 – 45 percent approval March 7.

To be sure, when a president enjoys 81% approval from voters in his own party, that may sound pretty good. It’s not. Note that Trump’s support from the GOP has fallen 10 points since the last Quinnipiac poll.

When a beleaguered president’s overall approval rating is just 37%, he’s even more dependent on die-hard loyalists. When that same president is shedding support from his own base, it’s evidence of a leader with a problem.

Making matters just a little worse, the American electorate doesn’t just disapprove of how Trump is governing, voters also disapprove of the president’s personal qualities. Among the discouraging results for the White House:

* 60 – 35 percent that he is not honest, compared to 55 – 39 not honest March 7;
* 55 – 40 percent that he does not have good leadership skills;
* 57 – 40 percent that he does not care about average Americans;
* 66 – 30 percent that he is not level-headed;
* 61 – 35 percent that he does not share their values.
The president’s overall favorability rating is 36% – which is just a little bit lower than his approval rating.

It’s against this backdrop that Trump is effectively telling Republican members of Congress, “Follow my lead and take health care benefits away from 24 million Americans. It’ll all work out great.” Good luck with that, GOP lawmakers.

Jewish Man Arrested in Israel for Bomb Threats Against Jewish Synagogues In US and Austrailia

The FBI got the Mossad on the case…Suspect arrested.

To be honest I suspected the alt-right, white right

Israel Arrests Man Suspected In Wave Of Bomb Threats Against Jewish Centers

A man in his late teens has been arrested in Israel as the “primary suspect” behind a string of phoned-in bomb threats to Jewish community centers across the U.S. and elsewhere.

The arrest was the result of an investigation by Israeli police and the FBI, a police spokesman says.

The suspect is Jewish and holds both Israeli and U.S. citizenship, according to multiple news outlets citing a police spokesman. His age has been variously reported as 18 or 19.

sraeli police say he was using masking technology to disguise the fact that he was making threatening calls to Jewish centers in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand.

Authorities have not identified a motive.

U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions says the arrest “is the culmination of a large-scale investigation spanning multiple continents for hate crimes against Jewish communities across our country.”

As NPR has reported, multiple waves of bomb threats targeted Jewish community centers across America over the past three months. Each wave consisted of threats made by telephone, with multiple states and centers targeted at once. Day care centers were evacuated, and no actual bombs were ever located.

The Anti-Defamation League says there have been more than 160 bomb threats at 120 institutions in the U.S. and Canada.

A former journalist in St. Louis accused of making at least eight of the threats, allegedly as part of a cyberstalking campaign against an ex-girlfriend, was arrested March 3. NBC reports suggested that the St. Louis man was believed to have made “copycat” threats and was not suspected of carrying out the broader wave of threats.

The American-Israeli suspect, in contrast, is being identified as the “primary” suspect.

The Associated Press has more on the arrest:

“Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld described the suspect as a hacker but said his motives were still unclear. Police banned publication of his name but said he was an American-Israeli dual citizen and that he would remain in custody until at least March 30.

” ‘He’s the guy who was behind the JCC threats,’ Rosenfeld said, referring to the dozens of anonymous threats phoned in to Jewish community centers in the U.S. over the past two months. Israeli media said the man had been found unfit for compulsory military service.

“Israel’s Channel 10 TV showed footage of the suspect appearing in court in the central Israeli city of Rishon Letzion. He wore … a blue sweater that he used to cover his face as he walked past reporters.

“The channel said the young man had lived in the U.S. for a period of time and had been home-schooled. It showed images of a large antenna outside his house and said his father was also arrested.”

The FBI confirmed that “the individual suspected” of the threats had been arrested early Thursday in Israel but provided no other details.

Haaretz reports the arrest was carried out by an Israeli cyberattack police unit and that the suspect is not cooperating with police. Officers seized “computers and other items … including antennas he used to access other people’s networks” to mask his trail, the Israeli newspaper reports.

The president and CEO of the JCC Association of North America said he was “gratified” by the progress of the investigation.

“We are troubled to learn that the individual suspected of making these threats against Jewish Community Centers, which play a central role in the Jewish community, as well as serve as inclusive and welcoming places for all — is reportedly Jewish,” Doron Krakow said in a statement.

White Texas Woman Guilty of Rape Hoax Against Black Males

Geez…Hoping for a lynching?

At least some things are improving if the Cops in Texas figure that shidt out without rounding up 3 totally innocent black male suspects to prosecute. Shout out to the Denison Police Department!

Cops: White teen who accused 3 black men of kidnap, rape, confesses to hoax

Police say that a white teenager who said three black men kidnapped and raped her confessed to making up the story.

According to the Denison Police Department, Breana Harmon Talbott, 18, orchestrated an elaborate hoax that began when a man identifying himself as her fiance called police on March 8 and said she was missing. He told police her car had been found in the parking lot of an apartment complex with the driver’s side door open, with her phone, keys and a shoe nearby.

Police began a search and later that night, police say Talbott walked into a local church wearing just a shirt, bra and underwear, and with scratches and cuts on her body. She told people there she had been kidnapped and sexually assaulted in the woods behind the church.

When she spoke to police, Talbott described her attackers as “three black males” wearing ski masks. She said the men took her in a black SUV to a wooded area where two men raped her while one held her down.

But police say, “almost immediately, Talbott’s story and allegations began to unravel.” Police told Crimesider that investigators are still unclear about Talbot’s motivation.

Now, police say that Talbott admitted to investigators that the crime scene was staged and her injuries self-inflicted.

“We’ve had false reports before,” Lt. Mike Eppler told Crimesider, “but none to this extent.”

Talbott has been charged with false reporting, a Class B misdemeanor, and police say they plan to seek restitution for the costs of their search and investigation. As of Thursday morning, she was incarcerated in the Grayson County Jail on a $1,500 bond.

FBI Gets in Steve Bannon’s Shorts Investigating Brietbart and Alex Jones

Oh My!

The President’s puppeteer may lose his grip! Steve Bannon, not only a senior member of the Chumph’s campaign, and now National Security Adviser was the Editor of Brietbart. It appears that Brietbart was one of the major conduits for Russian hacking and release of mal-information about Hillary Clinton, along with Alex Jones’ “Infowars” site. There is now substantial evidence that both outfits were Russian puppets, whether willingly or not.

In any even, Bannon’s connection to both Brietbart and the Campaign provides a back channel for discussions between the Russians and the Putin’s Bitch’s Campaign.

The “bots” story is just a cover, and just describes the methodology the Russians utilized to implement the hacking once directed by Bannon.

Wonder if Amazon or EBay will provide a quantity discount on hanging ropes for traitors?

FBI’s Russian-influence probe includes a look at Breitbart, InfoWars news sites

Federal investigators are examining whether far-right news sites played any role last year in a Russian cyber operation that dramatically widened the reach of news stories — some fictional — that favored Donald Trump’s presidential bid, two people familiar with the inquiry say.

Operatives for Russia appear to have strategically timed the computer commands, known as “bots,” to blitz social media with links to the pro-Trump stories at times when the billionaire businessman was on the defensive in his race against Democrat Hillary Clinton, these sources said.

The bots’ end products were largely millions of Twitter and Facebook posts carrying links to stories on conservative internet sites such as Breitbart News and InfoWars, as well as on the Kremlin-backed RT News and Sputnik News, the sources said. Some of the stories were false or mixed fact and fiction, said the sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the bot attacks are part of an FBI-led investigation into a multifaceted Russian operation to influence last year’s elections.

Investigators examining the bot attacks are exploring whether the far-right news operations took any actions to assist Russia’s operatives. Their participation, however, wasn’t necessary for the bots to amplify their news through Twitter and Facebook.

The investigation of the bot-engineered traffic, which appears to be in its early stages, is being driven by the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division, whose inquiries rarely result in criminal charges and whose main task has been to reconstruct the nature of the Kremlin’s cyber attack and determine ways to prevent another.

An FBI spokesman declined to comment on the inquiry into the use of bots.

Russia-generated bots are one piece of a cyber puzzle that counterintelligence agents have sought to solve for nearly a year to determine the extent of the Moscow government’s electronic broadside.

“This may be one of the most highly impactful information operations in the history of intelligence,” said one former U.S. intelligence official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter.

Bureau director James Comey confirmed Monday at a House Intelligence Committee hearing what long has been reported: that the FBI is investigating possible links between individuals in the Trump presidential campaign and the Russian campaign to influence the election and whether there was any coordination between the two.

As for the bots, they carried links not only to news stories but also to Democratic emails posted on WikiLeaks, especially those hacked from Podesta and made public in October, said Philip Howard, a professor at the Oxford University Internet Institute who has researched the bot attacks.

Howard said that, as an example, bots had spread links to fictional stories that accused Clinton of involvement in running a child-sex ring in the basement of a Washington pizza parlor. The posts inspired a North Carolina man to drive to Washington and fire an assault weapon in the restaurant, according to police reports.

Howard’s study of bot-generated Twitter traffic during last fall’s Trump-Clinton campaign debates showed that bot messages favorable to Trump significantly outnumbered those sympathetic to Clinton.

He said his research showed that Americans who call themselves “patriotic programmers” also activated bots to aid Trump. In interviews, they described coding the computer commands in their spare time, Howard said.

Unlike counterintelligence investigators with more cyber-sleuthing capabilities, Howard has not established that Russia was the source of the bot attacks he studied.

Russia also used “trolls,” hundreds of computer operatives who pretended to be Trump supporters and posted stories or comments on the internet complimentary to Trump or disparaging to Clinton. Sources close to the inquiry said those operatives likely worked from a facility in St. Petersburg, Russia, dedicated to that tactic.

“Russian bots and internet trolls sought to propagate stories underground,” said Mike Carpenter, a former senior Pentagon official during the Obama administration whose jobfocused on Russia. “Those stories got amplified by fringe elements of our media like Breitbart.”

Yet Another Republican Says the “T” Word About the Chumph

Whispers are getting louder!

‘There is no other word for it’: Former Bush ethics czar says FBI uncovering evidence of ‘treason’

The former ethics lawyer for George W. Bush believes the FBI investigation into the Trump campaign’s alleged ties to Russia has uncovered evidence of treason.

Richard Painter, who joined a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of President Donald Trump’s foreign business ties, tweeted a link late Wednesday to a McClatchy report on a federal investigation into whether U.S. right-wing websites coordinated with Russian operatives to attack Hillary Clinton.

“(The) FBI uncovering evidence of treason,” Painter said. “There is no other word for it.”

Painter also agreed with Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) that an independent commission or select committee was needed to investigate possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign.

“Senator McCain is right – Congress has no credibility in undertaking the Trump-Russia investigation,” Painter tweeted.
