Why There is Going to be A Civil War in the US Next Year

27 Dec

President Obama could, if not prevent this, slow it down by using a recess appointment of Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court. Indeed, what he should do is recess appoint at least 50 Judges.

Ironic justice: Donald Trump could completely overhaul the judiciary, thanks to Republican obstructionism

President-elect Donald Trump could replace more than 100 federal judges, with help from Republicans

Without question, one of the areas in which President-elect Donald Trump will most transform America is in its judiciary.

When he takes office, Trump will have to fill 103 judicial vacancies, nearly twice as many as the 54 that President Obama had to fill at the start of his presidency in 2009, according to The Washington Post on Sunday.

The unusually large number of vacancies can be attributed to Republican obstructionism. After the GOP took over the Senate in 2015, they established a policy of not confirming many of President Obama’s nominees, most notably by refusing to even conduct a hearing for Merrick Garland after Obama chose him to replace Justice Antonin Scalia earlier this year.

Aides to the Trump transition team also told The Washington Post that remaking the federal judiciary is a priority for both Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence, who is expected to be a major adviser on judicial appointments. Incoming White House Counsel Don McGahn is also expected to be a crucial voice when it comes to filling the judiciary, with conservative think tanks like the Federalist Society and the Heritage Foundation planning on coming up with lists of names.

Currently Republicans only hold 34 percent of America’s 673 district judgeships, according to judicial nominations expert Russell Wheeler in an interview with The Washington Post, but that number could increase to roughly half by mid-2020 because of Trump. Similarly, Democratic judges on the circuit court could be expected to fall from the current 51 percent to as low as 43 percent. The one silver lining for Democrats, Wheeler noted, is that many of the judges expected to step down over the next years were appointed by Republican presidents.

When it comes to the Supreme Court, Trump has already committed to pick from a list of 21 names that he released in September. Whereas all of the current Supreme Court judges attended Ivy League schools and served on one of the coasts, Trump’s list makes a point of focusing on judges from America’s heartland (the one exception being military judge Margaret A. Ryan in Washington). At the same time, the list only contains judicial conservatives, with Trump giving credit to the Heritage Foundation and Federalist Society for helping him draw it up.

Been practicing for the obvious, C. Been spending a bit of range time, to get back to my previous skill level. As I think I have said before, when it comes – it isn’t going to be by the folks whom the white right believes…And hardly amateurs. Leaving us common citizenry to defend ourselves from the white right general racist morons during the chaos. More like shooting mad bovines …Than itty-bitty Bullfrogs.

As I think I have said before, when it comes

        Wishful thinking.

The military industrial interventionist parasites and the vampire squid (Team America World Police) have had a good run. Run up the national debt to levels previously unimagined, acted an insufferable and disreputable fool worldwide – making it hard for pretty Americans to travel and enjoy ourselves absent their taint.

But that long and ghastly warsocialist run is nearing its end.

The masses are now thoroughly inoculated against the propaganda machine – so even with C3I and gear, your wished-for avengers can’t false-flag their way into controllable chaos. And that is the crux of the matter after all, whether the chaos they might engender can be controlled and channeled toward a desirable end-state.

        Plainly and simply, it cannot.

Hell, with every conceivable advantage in the world, Team America World Police couldn’t even pull off a simple presidential election. When I started subrealism a decade ago, a big part of its motivation was recognition of the profound governance challenges posed by the information and biotechnology revolutions.

It was conspicuously obvious to the casual observer (my own perspective most fundamentally informed by the effect on old-line technology business of open-source software) – that then prevailing mechanisms and institutions of governance were about to get rocked.

Time to stop crying over spilt milk, accept the fact that the ball has changed hands, big changes are pending at DoD, DoE, Langley and Foggy Bottom, and that there isn’t a damned thing that the establishment can do about it – without risking breaking everything into unrecoverable bits and pieces.

Shedding dead weight across the entire civil service might even result in being able to update 50 year old software running IRS and Social Security. Shedding the useless veterans preference GS-11-15 and SES cadres is a VERY GOOD THING.

GSA/SBA getting a new roster of preferred token service providers and enrolled vendors is not an intrinsically bad thing. People who’ve gotten too comfortable will simply have to get back on their hustle and actually add a little value for a change.

The Military Industrial Complex will be doing a box office business under the Chumph. Creating and building a new generation of nuclear warheads, a combat satellite system to match the Russians and Chinese – and grafting such warheads to hyper-sonic delivery systems…Ain’t cheap.

The only possible benefit the Chumph-hole brings may be in trying to cut the graft. That ain’t gonna happen because most of said Military complex is located in…Red Zone states – subsidizing the red state welfare.

But that long and ghastly warsocialist run is nearing its end.

Oh – that is really easy. Takes about 15 seconds to take away televised Viagra, and Valium from the greater population. No TV, no phone, no Amazon…and most critical…no Porn. Takes another 15 seconds to take out what the dumb-fuck Al Quaeda 911 types missed by 2 blocks, functionally isolating the country. Obviously you have never considered that such “Desired end State” can only be considered by removing the trash – AKA the entire red zone from the “United States ‘R Us” keeping 80% of the economy, and losing 90% of the financial liability. Think of it as a divestment of unprofitable and continuously contentious assets in the corporate world.

while Obama has done an outstanding job of keeping us out of ground wars and eradicating individual terrorist pests by the thousands – what he hasn’t been able to do is make continuing conflict too expensive for said scumbags to want to continue. Resolving said conflict the Red Army way by converting Damascus and certain other parts of said troublesome locations to molten glass does have it’s attraction, though. Doubt the CHumph will live that long to execute that.

My personal disengagement has nothing to do with said locations or folks. Nor does my opinion on how such resistance to fascism have correlation to anything other than identifying disenfranchised elements which may have a say in the matter. 40% of the country isn’t going to run 60%, nor is it going to survive disenfranchising the near 50% Minority populations, my personal stake an reason to clean my collection and continue to arm up principally having to do with the last specifically in such period as some rather over enthused Trumpazoids try and operate outside societal norms and the law pursuing precipitous actions – and making sure such actions are deleterious to their continued existence..

The problem being…Other than massively importing foreign slaves – where you going to get folks to rewrite same?

Why specifically do you have the errant belief that SBA will continue to exist or said 8a programs?

You need to revisit that old Manhattan Project grid and refresh your recollection of where exactly all the national nuclear security assets sit. It’s all red state, including the rare earth resources and chemistry so crucial to contemporary technology. Hell, I live within a stone’s throw of the physical hub of the Internet, as well as where piece of the national nuclear arsenal comes for routine maintenance. Like the Koch Bros would have you understand, you city slickers don’t produce anything real except a lot of human waste, while the real productive assets – including most crucially the breadbasket – are out here in flyover.

Nobody in their right mind believes that the Neocon Deep State is or has been fighting the good fight. The majority of right-thinking folks understand that the current Deep State is the source of all the terrorist mischief, whether through its so-called “color revolutions” or its failing alliance with Israel and the House of Saud. Bitter Lake is winding down now, and with it, the world order that bred the nest of snakes at Langley and Foggy Bottom.

As for threats on Trump, with Exxon security and his iron generals, I think Trump’ll be just fine.

40% of the country sitting on 90% of the agriculture, extractive resource assets, and other constituent parts of the productive economy – are not going to be controlled by food-powered, make-work phuctards in the cities – You sir can now be officially declared to be tripping. Disenfranchising low-information, badly behaving mexicans and negroes in the urban cores is no loss whatsoever. Those folks were disenfranchised by their own years ago. What Spence was talking about in his last book http://hub.jhu.edu/magazine/2015/winter/lester-spence-african-americans-neoliberalism/

Know exactly where said assets sit – been there, and short of a small, well eqipped army, you aren’t getting in there.

No, the MAE near your location is only one of 5 in the US. Further the clock that used to sit in Rolla Rolla isn’t there anymore, nor is it really necessary. About 80% of the world’s traffic is dependent on something located within 20 miles of Washington, DC in a nuke resistant facility underground. The OC-768 / STM-256 main DWM termination and possibly only working OC-1920 / STM-640 are also local. You forget what I do.

Most of the food produced in the eastern US is produced right here where I live, in a swath along the coast from NJ to NC. Ditto for the left coast. Given the choice of being single supporter and financial provider for 3rd world America “the great”, I’m not even sure Texas wouldn’t bolt. So we even have the beef. California alone produces nearly 14% of the total US crops. California, Texas, Illinois, Minnesota, North Carolina, and Florida produce over 40%. Only one major shipping port is in the “Red Zone” so you ain’t getting anything from Asia. And with Third World America needing to import damn near everything else except wheat and corn…I’d say you are properly cornholed.
