Days after promising riots Donald Trump vows: ‘We’re going to win with our Second Amendment’
Donald Trump, who has recently predicted riots at the GOP convention in Ohio this summer if he is denied the nomination, issued what could be interpreted as a threat at an Arizona rally on Saturday.
As the GOP front-runner spoke in Phoenix, his rally was beset by protesters, many of whom brought traffic to a halt while police officers used pepper spray to try and control the anti-Trump crowd. Trump has in the past vowed to “ruin” the lives of people protesting against him by having them arrested.
On Saturday, Trump launched into promises that “we are going to win,” but took it a step further.
“We’re going to win with our Second Amendment,” he said as the crowd cheered. “We’re gonna win big league with our Second Amendment!”

Maybe when people start dying, that will be enough to cost him the presidency? But I no longer have any faith that his followers have any sense. It’s up to the rest of us to save this country from disgruntled whites, willing to watch it all burn, because they’re unhappy.

My bet is that if he continues down the path he is going down – he is going to wind up doing a George Wallace, where one of his own right wing nutjobs shoots him.
And no – I don’t see any chance of him actually winning the election against Hillary or Bernie.

Remember the saying “Don’t encourage what you can’t discourage.” What surprises me is how long Americans were quite comfortable watching baby Godzilla grow. Some secretly fed it. Remember, Col. Allen West (R) House Representative and TeaParty cuddlee. He made more incendiary, hateful statements that Trump could only dream of. Check out Thinkprogress.org for the 15 most outrageous statements this Colonel made as a sitting member of government. He stated that liberals were a threat to the gene pool. Espoused disobedience to Commander in Chief. So Trump had good schooling from the often armed TeaParty that police never arrested for anything, even as they arrested and abused peaceful protesters.
