With the SCUMUS 5 decision today to override the rights of State and Local Governments and allow anyone, anywhere to pack heat…
It’s time for the designer gun show, such that your gun matches your accessories.
I mean, if we are to descend into mayhem – then let’s at least go in style…
Too stock? Get y’er Ak here!
More Ladylike?
Something from the “Cartel Collection”?
Worried about a bunch of armed crazy people turning your town into the Wild West?
I’m going Old Skool…

g_d given the economics of the day and the amount of folks out of work, the black market is going to be busy. Yes it seems that we are re-turning to the Dark Ages and will be seen in many areas in the USA.
We may see places like the way Japan was, with private armies and killer soldiers. SInce in some areas they wouldn’t be able to raise taxes for police, especailly in the South. Oh well

I’m thinking we may return to the 30’s Nana – when armed criminals and holdup artists targeted banks and the rich.
A whole generation of modern day John Dillingers, and Bonnie and Clydes.

yes that may be quite true but it will be different today, the poor and working folks will be targets now imho much more. If I was into Cabals; I might say this is a way to decrease a population. Maybe Cnu might agree. It reminds so much of O. Butler’s books

BT,
You are a gun carrying American citizen. Why the hypocrisy with the gun ruling? I was curious about your take on the ruling – ‘descend into mayhem’? Will you kindly lead the charge with your weaponry?
Doesn’t seem to make sense – what am I missing?

Take 5 minutes and look at the news in this country on any given day, and you will find the incredibly stupid actions of a fair number of people who couldn’t win “Are you smarter than a first grader”.
The problem with the ruling is it leads to a society where everybody carries guns – not from protection from criminals…
But protection from each other.
Some years ago I was in a cab in Dallas. The building I was going to had loop driveway where several delivery trucks had blocked all but one lane. My cab pulled in one end, some guy pulled in the other coming the opposite direction. The two of them argued over which one was going to move…
And then reached into their separate glove compartments…
And threw down on each other.
That’s going to happen every day – everywhere in America.
This was the stupidest decision the SCUMUS 5 have made since appointing the Bushit.

I disagree, but I see your point.

Last question – then are you willing to give up your guns and support a total ban, or is there a ‘line’ drawn somewhere. Here in NYC it is damn near impossible for a responsible citizen to get a permit and carry legally. Only the uber wealthy and the famous get the privilege. That’s just how it is – are you OK with our situation up here?

You know my position, Tea. The Chicago case was an opportunity for the SCUMMUS 5 to suck NRA weenie.
I feel that anyone who discharges a weapon utilizing solid ammunition in an apartment, tenement, or shared wall structure – should that projectile strike another person other than the criminal…
That they be charged with attempted murder, and should that person die – they be charged and convicted of murder and suffer the full consequences of the crime.
Shotguns, and even pistols which fire shotgun ammunition are commonly available –
Very effective – and much safer in terms of going through walls and windows and killing innocent people.

This article from the San Bernardino Sun describes charges being brought against a local man who had been shooting car windows out with a BB gun.
More guns make us LESS safe as a society.

What I think is that if gun ownership is an unfettered “right”, the the state or local governments have no capability to prevent anyone from owning or carrying a gun, whether they are mental patients, violent felons, or children. They essentially have stripped the community of the ability to protect itself.

From what I understand the ruling allows people to have guns in their homes for protection – and doesn’t go much further than that. I’ll be reading up on it…..

My understanding is that it eliminates state and local ability to regulate guns.
