This is going to be a war…
Now, Rappers aren’t exactly known as the most intelligent folks in the world. Neither are they exactly known for their humanity. So you have to question exactly what kind of black woman is out there after some dude whose every other word is “B0708” or “Ho” and how he is going to “cap” somebody…
Much less the small weenie syndrome of having to dominate a woman to feel like a man.
On with the spiel –
RAPPER SLIM Thug has sparked controversy in America over his shocking statements about black women.
In this month’s issue of ‘Vibe’, the rapper says that black women need to lower their standards if they want to be successful in love and ‘bow down’ to their man in order to maintain a successful relationship.
“Most single black women feel like they don’t want to settle for less. Their standards are too high right now. They have to understand that successful black men are kind of extinct… It’s hard to find us, so black women have to bow down and let it be known that they gotta start working hard; they gotta start cooking and being down for their man more…” he said.
The alleged love cheat went on to add that although white women had mastered the art of treating their man “like a king,” black women still had a lot to learn.
“White women treat they man like a king and black women feel like they ain’t gotta do that s**t. Black women need to stand by their man more. Don’t always put the pressure of ‘if I’m f**king with you, you gotta buy me this and that’. Black men are the ones that [women] need [but] I think a lot of them need to step it up too…”
He said that because his partner was of mixed heritage, he got all the benefits of being with a white woman because the “white in her” meant that she did all that she was asked.
He said: “My girl is black and white. I guess the half white in her is where she still cooks and do all the s**t that I say, so we make it. She just takes care of me and I like that. She don’t be begging and I don’t gotta buy her all this crazy ass s**t. And she’s a smart girl too… I’ve dated girls that will buy a $3,000 (£2,074.83) bag and don’t know how to pay it off on their credit cards. They walk around in these Louis Vuitton’s and red bottoms but they’re riding around in raggedy cars, so it’s just getting your priorities right.”
UK relationship expert, Sherry Dixon deemed the rappers views as “stupid” and “bitter”
She told Voice Online: “That’s a stupid thing to say. Nobody should have to bow to another person. It should be about working together. Bowing down might work for him, but I doubt it will be something that is long-term
It sounds like a bitter statement. Anyone who reads it might feel as though he has been shunned or despised by a black woman at some point in his life. It’s a bitter statement considering he was born of a black woman. I’m quite surprised that he would say such a thing as this.” She added.
Dixon did go onto say that although she disagreed with the rapper’s shocking admission, that he may have a point.
She concluded: “I think that black men might find that white girls are less hard work than black women, but you also have to understand the journey of the black woman in order to understand why she might be feisty.
“He may have a point in the fact that we have to learn how to give and take. I think perhaps we may be so independent that we are pushing away our men folk and what we have to do is re-learn how to embrace our men. There are lots of black men out there who are good black men.” She said.
“Feisty” is one thing – self defeating is quite another. It’s a thin line…
