Obama’s Katrina? Hardly.

26 May

The newest Republican game plan is to blame the oil spill on President Obama. Here is the Sno’ Ho’ claiming the Oil Companies supported President Obama…

Just so we don’t get lost in the thicket of thick-headed propaganda here – a quick reminder. This was at the 2008 Republican National Convention –

Truth and honesty are not permitted in the Republican Party.

That becomes more obvious every single day.

What are your thoughts about Obama’s response to BP thus far? Is there some unknown reason he hasn’t been harder on BP, or declared this a national emergency?

Blaming this on Obama is rediculous but I am curious about his response.

I think we are just seeing the tip of the iceberg on President Obama’s anger towards BP, and the federal regulatory authorities. He is cancelling the drilling lease of the coast of Virginia, and putting in place a 6 month moratorium on new drilling.

The Regulatory issues are the result of waaaaaay to many cushy jobs and cushy deals being handed out for years. Some for ideological reasons in the upper management levels of the Federal Government. If you remember some of my posts from last year, I have been arguing that the first thing Obama had to do was to do a serious flush at the executive an SES levels of the Government. He didn’t do that, and as such he keeps getting “blindsided” by corruption at the senior level – as well as people who were put into place by the previous administration to walk the Bushit ideological line.

Maybe this time he’ll wake up to the fact that there were a lot of “Brownies” of FEMA infamy put in place – and until he cuts that rot out…

The gangrene is just going to get worse.
