White Sorority “Brings It” At Sprite Step-Off

Hat tip to NewsOne and Bossip –

White Sorority Wins Sprite Step-Off Competition

Stepping, which is deeply rooted in the tradition of historically Black Fraternities, has moved into the mainstream. At the Sprite Step Off, a traditionally white sorority  with all white members, Zeta Tau Alpha won the $100,000 prize. Bossip was in the audience and they agreed that Zeta Tau Alpha “brought it.”

This can be considered of another example of how Black culture becomes mainstream and becomes appropriated by Caucasian people and becomes a greater part of American culture as a whole.

Judge for yourself, here is Zeta Tau Alpha, stepping along with videos of performances from the AKAs, Deltas and Alphas.

BTx3 watched the clips and has to admit – the young ladies of Zeta Tau Alpha “brought it”. Congrats to Zeta Tau!

Alphas, Deltas, Sigmas, and Q’s … You gotta kick it up a notch or two to remain competitive.

    I am not surprised that a sorority could pull it off; Check any NBA team’s “cheerleaders.” It would shock me if a frat could keep up, though.

    cultural appropriation?

    cognitive infiltration?

    What did the audience’s response signal?

      I think cultural absorption is more the key.

    akas and deltas had their lips poked out and left the contest mad at the results. tom joyner put them on blast this morning.

    I find this HI-larious in its entirety magne.

    those ZTA girls put in more than enough work to be that tight – and to me – that denotes respect, hands-down.

    Let’s see this in a PHOTOGRAPHIC NEGATIVE universe.

    1) Black Hockey Team enters into a tournament, to the surprise of all White folks

    2) Black Hockey team WINS the tournament, impressing everyone with their play

    3) In the week that follows WHITE FOLKS / REPUBLICANS raise a ruckus about how the sanctity of HOCKEY is threatened.

    4) Arthur Anderson Consulting – the sponsor of the tournament announces that THERE WAS A SCORING ERROR………………………………………………………………………..THE BLACK TEAM MUST SHARE THEIR TITLE WITH A WHITE TEAM IN THE TOURNAMENT

    * Jesse Jackson
    * Al Sharpton
    * Michael Eric Dyson
    * Ben Jealous

    all get about 2,000 extra Frequent Flier points as they go to MOUNT A PROTEST in front of the headquarters of the entity that SCREWED the Black entrants with this BULL!!!

    Only the BIGOTS are made happy by the final outcome.

      That’s funny Porch – since I haven’t seen anything, from anyone except you complaining that the Zeta Taus won the contest. Indeed, the only thing any of the leading “BUSOJLAD” sites, as you like to blubber has said…

      Is the Alphas, Kappas, Deltas, and Ques need to step it up if they want to remain competitive..

      Understanding you psychosis, and knee jerk need to fawn for your white Massas…

      That bit of “self improvement” advice by black folks to other black folks indeed upsets your whole apple cart.

      Grin and bear it Porch – black folks, unlike yourself, are improving themselves every day!
