If ever the term “good riddance” applies, it’s to fathead Lou.

While I acknowledge that the country, and particularly my home state of California, has serious problems that won’t be repaired in a short time frame, this genre of angry, bitter white men are having a collective meltdown, and my greatest fear is that they can incite violence across the land. Since I do believe it is what they want so they can say “I told you so,” they need to be silenced.

Lou’s agitating rhetoric was so gradual I really didn’t see it coming. It wasn’t until others began to point it out that I became more observant and concerned. I guess it began becoming bad over the immigration issues, which many of us have mixed feeling about. From there his rhetoric did spiral out of control.

Lou filled a spot on CNN as their resident moderate conservative. I think the Immigration thing was all about ratings, believing he could steal viewers.

His original show was Moneyline, and I was a regular viewer. Good show, great focus on business developments, solid guests, solid journalism. Then he left for a few years for a separate cable venture, which eventually folded. When he came back to CNN, he returned with a bitter edge, and couldn’t keep his biases and opinions out of his reporting.

As Obama emerged as a serious presidential candidate, and the Bush presidency continued to spiral downward, Fathead Lou couldn’t contain himself, and it was downhill from there.

Don’t let the doorknob hitchu where the dog shoulda bitchu.
