Justice At Street Level

10 Oct

Two videos of some really stupid folks, starting conflicts they shouldn’t have.

The first is filmed in San Fancisco on a MUNI Bus in the Chinatown section of the city. Apparently the black woman in the video was taking up two seats, and the Chinese woman asked her to move over – then the trash talk and signifyin’ starts…

Sista in this one had an ounce of brains, she would have just apologized and moved over making room for the other woman.

Courtesy costs nothing, and returns much.

Second, she should have noticed she was in Chinatown – not Oakland, leading to a decisively different mix of folks on the bus, limiting the number of folks who might have any motivation whatsoever to plead her case – especially with her being in the wrong.

The second video is in London, apparently in a section of town where Transsexuals or cross dressing people congregate. Two, probably drunk, clowns decide it’s a great place for a bit of gay bashing…

The person in the miniskirt, happens to be a Mixed Martial Arts Cage Fighter.

Really bad decision on the part of the two clowns.

Now, this sort of “street justice” may indeed have it’s parallel in the political arena with the way conservatives have tried to brow beat, threaten, and obstruct everything associated with Obama – much in the same way the black lady in the video is talking trash about what she is going to do to the Chinese woman…

I’m looking forward to the political “Beat Down”, as is much of America apparently – looking at the falling poll numbers for Republicans…

Cenk is a little strange. Not sure I like his delivery or sense of humor – but he does some good stuff.

Was a DJ back in the early 70’s while going to school. My Saturday Night gig was at a gay-straight bar in one of the Club sections downtown. Three transgendered folk came in one night dressed to the max, and I complemented them on their outfits when they requested a tune. Turned out they sang at a club down the street, so I asked if the lead singer would take the mike and sing a song (We didn’t have Karoke back then but I had a 5 channel mixer with a 32 channel equalizer which did a pretty good job at suppressing the sound track.).

I left the club each Saturday night having to load my equipment, records, and carrying a fair amount of cash which was my cut for the night – often by myself. Those three would stop by every Saturday Night at closing and watch the street for me to make sure I didn’t get robbed.

    Good folks.

I wonder about the black women’s mental state. I mean what kind of person would exacerbate a situation to that degree of incivility and danger. However, I give the Chinese women’s behavior a poor grade also.

agreed on the chinese woman’s behavior. she should have much more aggressively and decisively WHOOPED THAT’AZZ….., (since “sista” girl was clearly just selling woof tickets)

As for the Chinese lady, there are rules of law and physical danger and possibly deadly consequences, to consider in those situations.

Blustering is one thing, but for sure you have to bring azz to get some. She wasn’t sixteen, she looks between forty and fifty. There are high-schoolers, well some ;-), who could have navigated that situation better.

But what you said was funny, and the black lady did deserve a can of WTA.

She indeed got some Wu Tang Whoop Ass. The Chinese lady was not the aggressor in this case, and I don’t think she would have resorted to violence – if the black lady didn’t have her cornered and swung first.

And yeah – this isn’t what you expect out of grown folks.
