Gates was the only one who drank a fully American beer, opting for a Sam Adams light. Obama drank Bud Lite, made by a Belgian company(Anheuser-Busch InBev), Biden had nonalcoholic Buckler (made by Heineken), brewed by Dutch Heineken, and Crowley chose Blue Moon, from Canadian Molson.
Well…at least one guy (Gates) was drinking a real American beer.
Expensive... But worth it!
And I gotta believe the guys over at Anheuser-Busch InBev, are licking their chops at this one. Interesting fodder for the Bud-Lite/Miller Lite advertising battle.
This brother is definitely in need of some “Sexual Healing” – and I’m not talking about what Marvin Gaye was singing about either. He’s taken that Horse Whispering thing to a whole new level…
This is a photo provided by Horry County Dentition Center of Rodell Vereen, 50, who was arrested Monday July 27, 2009, and charged with buggery. Police said Vereen was captured on surveillance video having sex with a horse at a stable near his home in Longs, S.C.
COLUMBIA, S.C. — A South Carolina man was charged with having sex with a horse after the animal’s owner caught the act on videotape, then staked out the stable and caught him at shotgun point, authorities said Wednesday.
But this wasn’t the first time Rodell Vereen has been charged with buggery. He pleaded guilty last year to having sex with the same horse after owner Barbara Kenley found him in the same stable and was sentenced to probation and placed on the state’s sex offender list.
Kenley said she noticed several weeks ago her 21-year-old horse Sugar was acting strange and getting infections again. She noticed things in the barn had been moved around – dirt piled up and bales of hay stacked near the horse’s stall at her Lazy B Stables in Longs, about 20 miles northeast of Myrtle Beach. Mr. Dobbs’ first began reporting on Obama birth certificate conspiracy theories on the night of Wednesday, July 15. In the roughly two weeks since then, from July 15 through July 28, Mr. Dobbs’ 7 p.m. show on CNN has averaged 653,000 total viewers and 157,000 in the 25-54 demo.
By contrast, during the first two weeks of the month (July 1 to July 14) Mr. Dobbs averaged 771,000 total viewers and 218,000 in the 25-54 demo. In other words, Mr. Dobbs’ audience has decreased 15 percent in total viewers and 27 percent in the demo since the start of the controversy.
Now, since the Loon and racist faction isn’t about to desert Faux News…
Listening to Glenn Beck and Michelle Maliken this week you would have to believe that every old white guy in the country has a bulls eye painted on his back. White victimization is a popular string among the racist set, where a long line of perceived disadvantages manufacture the justification for hate.
Bread Line Statue at Franlin Delano Roosevelt Memorial
The target audience for this currently is disaffected older white males, who are suffering from the recession/depression which was manufactured by failed conservative policies. Obviously, it is Beck and his kindred talking heads job to point the blame at Minorities – instead of squarely at folks like him who enabled the crippling of the nation’s economy.
Turns out there is some real pain out there to leverage racial hatred from –
A person with knowledge of the case who was not authorized to speak publicly about the details told the Boston Herald that Barrett, a member of the National Guard, sent the e-mail to fellow Guardsmen and to The Boston Globe.
Barrett called Gates a “jungle monkey” in the e-mail, according to a copy posted online at MyFOXBoston.com. Officials told the Herald that Barrett admitted writing the e-mail.

Henry Louis Gates Jr., the black professor at the center of the racial story involving his arrest outside his Harvard University-owned house, has spoken proudly of his Irish roots.
Strangely enough, he and the Cambridge, Mass., police officer who arrested him, Sgt. James Crowley, both trace their ancestry back to the legendary Niall of the Nine Hostages.
In a PBS series on African-American ancestry that he hosted in 2008, Gates discovered his Irish roots when he found he was descended from an Irish immigrant and a slave girl.
He went to Trinity College in Dublin to have his DNA analyzed. There he found that he shared 10 of the 11 DNA matches with offspring of Niall of the Nine Hostages, the fourth century warlord who created one of the dominant strains of Irish genealogy because he had so many offspring.

Ironically, James Crowley, whose name in Gaelic means “hardy warrior,” is also descended from the same line as Gates, having very close links to Niall of the Nine Hostages.
So the two men who took part in what is now an infamous confrontation outside the Gates home near Harvard this month are actually related through common Irish lineage — one of the more extraordinary aspects of the incident that has sparked worldwide headlines.
President Obama also shares Irish ancestry on his Mother’s side…
This one fully explains why the Gates Arrest has riveted media attention the last two weeks. There is a concern that having a black President may not mean business as usual. It would seem that anyone who isn’t white, male, and conservative…
Saw a report last night that claimed Jackson was paying Dr. Murray $150,000 a month – but that Murray had several defaulted debts in the $400,000 range…
LAS VEGAS — Authorities searched the sprawling Las Vegas home and medical office of Michael Jackson’s personal doctor Tuesday, seeking documents as part of a manslaughter investigation into the singer’s death.
Los Angeles police and federal Drug Enforcement Administration agents entered Dr. Conrad Murray’s home in a gated community while others across town searched Murray’s medical offices, Global Cardiovascular Associates Inc.
Michael Flanagan, assistant special agent in charge of the Las Vegas DEA office, said the warrants were sealed and he couldn’t say what documents agents were seeking. He said he expected the search would last five hours.
It was the second time in less than a week that investigators targeted Murray’s property. Last week in Houston authorities searched his clinic and storage. Court records show they were seeking evidence of whether the doctor committed manslaughter.
With toxicology reports pending, investigators are working under the theory that Murray gave Jackson the powerful anesthetic propofol to help him go to sleep, and the drug caused his heart to stop, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press. Murray told investigators he administered propofol sometime in the early morning of June 25, the day Jackson died, according to the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing.
The official told AP that Murray left the bedroom where Jackson was sedated and returned to find the star unresponsive.
Police have said Murray is cooperating and have not labeled him a suspect.
Couple of major differences from the last 3 “Terrorist wannabe cells” arrested. First, the leader of the group had both Military and terrorist training at a terrorist training camp. Second, this group apparently had the means to travel to the Middle East, and did so, on at least 1 occasion. Third – one of the participants behind the group is currently being reported as hiding in Pakistan.
Michael VIck May Be Back in the NFL With the Patriots
Michael Vick was reinstated by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on Monday and could play in regular season games as early as October. Vick can immediately participate in preseason practices, workouts and meetings and can play in the final two preseason games — if he can find a team that will sign him. A number of teams have already said they would not.
“Needless to say, your margin for error is extremely limited,” Goodell said in a letter to Vick. “I urge you to take full advantage of the resources available to support you and to dedicate yourself to rebuilding your life and your career. If you do this, the NFL will support you.”
Goodell suspended Vick indefinitely in August 2007 after the former Atlanta Falcons quarterback admitted bankrolling the “Bad Newz Kennels” dogfighting operation. Goodell said then that Vick must show remorse and signs that he has changed before he would consider reinstating him.
Once the season begins, Vick may participate in all team activities except games, and Goodell said he would consider Vick for full reinstatement by Week 6 (Oct. 18-19).
Michael VIck was prosecuted, and jailed admittedly for being a scumbag. The question is, has he paid his debt to society, in the context of being a star in the NFL. A deeper question – getting into that post-Gates-arrest, post-racial thing, being asked by a number of bloggers is –
In view that a number of highly paid, prominent atheletes have gotten themselves in trouble with serious charges – including rape, and most recently being accused of attempted murder, when is punishment of Vick…
Enough.
Is it racial – or is it an overbalanced love of the mutt?

Most drivers have seen one or more accidents or near accidents caused by the driver in a car failing to pay attention to the road, often distracted by their cell phone – or even worse fumbling with the cell phone…

This report, studying professional drivers should be an eye opener –
Sending or receiving text messages while driving is more dangerous than originally believed
As more states consider outright bans of talking on cell phones or texting while driving, a new study indicates sending and receiving text messages while driving dramatically increases the likelihood of an accident.
“You should never do this,” Virginia Institute Director Tom Dingus said. “It should be illegal.”
The Virginia Tech Transportation Institute studied truck drivers for 18 months, recording driving habits of 100 long-haul truck drivers. The long-term study discovered the habits of truck drivers is very similar to regular everyday drivers, Specifically, the study looked into the amount of time drivers spend reading or writing text messages — immediately prior to an accident, participants spent almost five seconds looking at their cell phone. The results of the study showed that drivers who texted were 23 times more likely to get into an accident than drivers who didn’t text.
