I was surprised to hear of Congressman West’s comments because he has never expressed these sentiments to me directly.

Contrary to the views expressed by Congressman West, I work to represent the highest ideals of our great nation – ideals like freedom of worship and respect for all faiths, equal protection under the law as well as a civil and open public discourse.

I call on Americans of all colors, cultures and faiths to turn to each other, not on each other, especially in the renewed spirit of finding a more respectful and productive public dialogue.

Americans across the country want their public servants to reject the toxic and corrosive chatter that yields more heat than light. I hope to have a productive and respectful dialogue with all of my colleagues, including Allen West.

Without further ado, the Lawn Jockey of the Year Award for 2010 is Alan West. Following this interview West appaeared on Faux News -

Speaking on “Fox News Sunday”, he said more needs to be done to set the stage for private sector job growth and scale back government intervention. West suggested the latest vote to extend long-term unemployment benefits for another 13 months was just “creating more victims and making people dependent on the government”.

Breitbart says ABC invited him to appear on broadcast television

Andrew Breitbart has released what he says is an email contradicting ABC News’ assertion that the network never planned to include him in its televised Election Night coverage.

On Friday, Breitbart’s Big Journalism website reported that Breitbart would be “featured” on ABC’s “election night coverage.” According to Big Journalism, Breitbart would be “bringing analysis live from Arizona.”

Several hours later, ABC spokesman David Ford confirmed to Media Matters that Breitbart “will be one of many voices on our air.”

After receiving heavy criticism, ABC released a statement Saturday purporting to “explain what Mr. Breitbart’s role has always been as one of our guests at our digital town hall event” [emphasis added]. According to the ABC statement, “Breitbart will not be a part of the ABC News broadcast coverage” and will instead “engage with a live, studio audience that will be closely following the election results and participating in an online-only discussion and debate.”

But on Sunday night, Breitbart insisted that wasn’t the original deal. Breitbart wrote, “I can state with absolute certainty that the verbal pitch to me to participate was punctuated by the opportunity to appear as part of ABC News’ broadcast television for the night. I was also aware that the majority of my participation — seven long hours — would be online.”

Similarly, Breitbart told The Daily Caller that “they originally pitched to me that I was going to do a hybrid of both online and broadcast.”

 

 

Faux Reporter Drop-Kicked Out of Iraq By Military for Treason

Faux News scum selling out our Military again in an effort to create casualties and thus embarrass the Obama administration. These scumbags will sink to any level - including providing information to th enemy to kill our own people.

Military kicks Geraldo out of Iraq

Fox News Channel correspondent Geraldo Rivera is being expelled from Iraq for broadcasting details about future U.S. troop movements in the country, according to the Pentagon.

A primary obligation of the hundreds of reporters traveling with coalition forces in Iraq is to refrain from disclosing sensitive information about military operations.

The veteran correspondent, who was temporarily accompanying the Army’s 101st Airborne Division, violated the rule during a live broadcast on Fox television.

“He was with a (U.S.) military unit in the field and the commander felt that he had compromised operational information by reporting the position and movements of troops,” Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman told Reuters.

After the disclosure, members of the 101st Airborne were in the process of escorting Rivera out of the combat zone, a Pentagon official told CNN.

“He will be dropped at the Kuwaiti border,” the official said.

Fox News in New York had no immediate comment, according to Reuters.

In the broadcast, Rivera instructed his photographer to tilt the camera down to the sand in front of his feet so that he could draw a map.

The Fox correspondent then outlined a map of Iraq, and showed the relative location of Baghdad and his location with the 101st Airborne unit.

Rivera then continued with his sandy diagram to illustrate where the 101st would be going next.

“He went down in the sand and drew where the forces are going,” said a stunned senior military official. “He gave away the big picture stuff.”

They ought to be using his ass to “test drive” some of those roads in a Toyota…

KKKarl Rove’s Upbringing

My last post was about a Republican closet queen who had been outed by his own drunken actions. KKKarl Rove is on the road shilling his book, one portion of which deals with his difficult upbringing. One part of that is his parent’s divorce, and mother’s subsequent suicide -

“I just wanted to set the record straight, because I mean, again, this was a political attack on me,” Rove told Lauer. “In order to get to me, people had to say ugly things about my parents. I don’t know whether my father was, at the end of his life, gay or not. I just don’t. I don’t think so, but I don’t know … My mother never said to us that their marriage fell apart because my father was gay.”

In his new book, “Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight,” Rove writes:

“I have become an adjective. There is something called a Rovian-style of campaigning and it’s meant as an insult. One columnist said it consists mainly of throwing mud until it sticks. One prominent blogger described the elements of a textbook Rovian race as fear-based, smear-based and anything goes.”

Others, including fellow Republicans, don’t buy Rove’s denials. As Lauer reported, “Roy Fletcher, McCain’s deputy campaign manager, said of the South Carolina smear, quote, ‘This whole thing, it was orchestrated by Rove.’ ”

And Cindy McCain, the senator’s wife, said she would not stab Rove in the back if he walked by her. “I would stab him in the front,” she reportedly said.

Lauer also read a quote from Matt Latimer, a former Bush speechwriter, who wrote of Rove: “He was what all the liberals said he was, the villain. And to make matters worse, a clumsy one at that. He turned out to be less a Voldemort than a Boris Badenov chasing Rocky and Bullwinkle.”

Rove has quite possibly been the most destructive force in American politics since George McDuffie fabricated the “40 Bales of Cotton” fiction supported by John Calhoon which directly led to the Civil War.

Calhoun, a brilliant orator and writer, was a proponent of Republicanism, which he saw as implying slavery, states’ rights, limited government, and nullification.

Wow.. not much different from the current Republican platform.

Were justice really applicable to all people in this country…

Karl Rove would be sitting in a prison somewhere, convicted of treason for his role in outing a CIA Agent, along with a few of his closest co-conspirators.
