Herman Cain Feigns Shock!

The Washington Post did an article yesterday on Republican Presidential Candidate, and Texas Governor Rick Perry’s owenership (long term lease)  of a property in West Texas named Niggerhead Ranch…

Apparently nobody got around to removing the sign to the ranch until 2006, according to one account by a worker there.

Perry used this Ranch to wine and dine fellow Republicans on “hunting trips” and other various outings, apparently without seeing the need to change the name.

Here is Herman Cain of fellow Republican and fellow Tea Party member Rick Perry…

Notice Cain never says the ranch’s name was “insulting” to him. And if you recall, Cain buckdanced to the national media on a number of occasions claiming there was no “racism” in the Tea Party.

This isn’t the first time a Republican Presidential hopeful has melted down on the race issue. Republican former Governor and Senator from Virginia, George Allen uttered the now infamous “Macacca” word, ending his Senatorial and immediate Presidential hopes. What is less publicized about Allen outside of Virginia is the fact he kept a hangman’s noose and confederate flag hanging in his office as a sign of “Southern Pride”. George Allen is running again for the Senate this year, apparently buoyed by the Tea Party emergence and change in climate which elected a Republican Governor and Attorney General in the State in 2008.

Now – just owning a ranch – especially in that part of the world, with a racially pejorative name isn’t enough to say that Rick Perry is a bigot…

That part of Texas where Perry’s ranch is located has never been too “Minority Friendly”. I seriously doubt Perry actually even saw a black person much before he was 12 or 15 years old, where he grew up.

But what it does do, is speak to the “Wink…Wink…Nod…Nod…” relationship between Republican politicians and bigots, and their easy acceptance of bigotry.

As to George Allen – he’s a flaming racist ass. Hopefully Cain gets to meet him soon.

Dr Laura and the “N” Word

For the life of me, I can’t figure out why anyone would spend 1 minute listening to any of the media head shrinkers. Add a dose of right wing into that and what you wind up with is a recipe for pseudo-scientific racism.

Not sure what point Dr. Laura was trying to make here – other than racially bashing the caller.

On Tuesday, Schlessinger took a call from a female caller during the second hour of her show and had the following discussion:

SCHLESSINGER: Jade, welcome to the program.

CALLER: Hi, Dr. Laura.

SCHLESSINGER: Hi.

CALLER: I’m having an issue with my husband where I’m starting to grow very resentful of him. I’m black, and he’s white. We’ve been around some of his friends and family members who start making racist comments as if I’m not there or if I’m not black. And my husband ignores those comments, and it hurts my feelings. And he acts like –

SCHLESSINGER: Well, can you give me an example of a racist comment? ‘Cause sometimes people are hypersensitive. So tell me what’s — give me two good examples of racist comments.

CALLER: OK. Last night — good example — we had a neighbor come over, and this neighbor — when every time he comes over, it’s always a black comment. It’s, “Oh, well, how do you black people like doing this?” And, “Do black people really like doing that?” And for a long time, I would ignore it. But last night, I got to the point where it –

SCHLESSINGER: I don’t think that’s racist.

CALLER: Well, the stereotype –

SCHLESSINGER: I don’t think that’s racist. No, I think that –

CALLER: [unintelligible]

SCHLESSINGER: No, no, no. I think that’s — well, listen, without giving much thought, a lot of blacks voted for Obama simply ’cause he was half-black. Didn’t matter what he was gonna do in office, it was a black thing. You gotta know that. That’s not a surprise. Not everything that somebody says — we had friends over the other day; we got about 35 people here — the guys who were gonna start playing basketball. I was going to go out and play basketball. My bodyguard and my dear friend is a black man. And I said, “White men can’t jump; I want you on my team.” That was racist? That was funny.

CALLER: How about the N-word? So, the N-word’s been thrown around –

SCHLESSINGER: Black guys use it all the time. Turn on HBO, listen to a black comic, and all you hear is nigger, nigger, nigger.

CALLER: That isn’t –

SCHLESSINGER: I don’t get it. If anybody without enough melanin says it, it’s a horrible thing; but when black people say it, it’s affectionate. It’s very confusing. Don’t hang up, I want to talk to you some more. Don’t go away.

After taking a commercial break, Schlessinger resumed her discussion with the caller:

Tea Bagger Feud Over Use of N-Word

During the run-up to the Health Care vote, Congressman John Lewis and several other black lawmakers were verbally assaulted by Tea Bagger protesters as they walked from one of the Office Buildings to the Capital Building. 4 Congressmen, including a white Congressman reported hearing chants of the N-word hurled at the lawmakers by Tea Baggers.

Andrew Breitbart

Within a day or so of the incident being reported in the MSM, a video posted by Andrew Breitbart. Brietbart was central in “breaking” the James O’Keefe white-boy pimp ACORN sting, and providing the videos to Faux News. Brietbart, and others within the Tea Party movement are claiming that the incident reported by the Congressmen never happened, based on a video purportedly shot during the time the Congressmen claim they were assaulted. They are claiming that the Congressmen are lying in order to portray the Tea Baggers in a racist light.

Now it turns out that the video presented by Brietbart and other Tea Baggers of evidence that the assault never happened, was shot at a totally different time than the period in which the Congressmen claim they were assaulted.

Now – this could have been a mistake, but when you consider the same sources are the origin of the now thoroughly discredited ACORN tapes which resulted in the destruction of ACORN…

Then the DOJ needs to start looking at this as a criminal enterprise, and needs to look at possibly charging Mr. Breitbart and his accomplices with several crimes, including potentially violations under the Civil Rights Act, Wire Fraud, and Mail Fraud.

Wrong Video of Health Protest Spurs N-Word Feud

Three Democratic congressmen — all black — say they heard racial slurs as they walked through thousands of angry protesters outside the U.S. Capitol. A white lawmaker says he heard the epithets too. Conservative activists say the lawmakers are lying.

What does the video show? Not much. Indeed, new interviews show that a much-viewed YouTube recording cited as evidence by conservatives was actually shot well after the time in question.

It was March 20, near the end of the bitter health care debate, when Reps. John Lewis, Andre Carson and Emanuel Cleaver say that some demonstrators, many of them tea party activists, yelled the “N-word” as the congressmen walked from House office buildings to the Capitol.

Republican Justifies Tea Baggers Using “N-word”…

Representative Devin Nunes (Republican -Ca) justifies the calling of black legislators the “N word”, and Barney Frank a “f*&()_”.

He then tries to front the lie that Democrats are doing something Republicans never did when they were the majority. Like all of these lies, such as the various rules having never been utilized (the Republicans utilized the exact same rule 35 times during the Bushit Administration), this will be exposed for exactly what it is…

MSNBC Carlos Watson – Is “Socialism” the new “N” Word?
