Police arrest Georgia megachurch pastor after disturbance at home

Megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar was arrested in suburban Atlanta for an alleged assault on his 15-year-old daughter, police said Friday.

Deputies in Georgia’s Fayette County responded to a call about a domestic disturbance about 1 a.m. Friday. Dollar’s daughter said she argued with her father over attending a party, said Investigator Brent Rowan of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.

The daughter says the argument got physical.

She told the deputies that her father charged her, put his hands around her throat and began to choke her, according to a police report. She said he then slammed her to the ground, punched her and beat her with his shoe.

Dollar’s daughter was able to get away and dial 911, Rowan said.

Employee of the Year… Almost

This incident happened in the NYC McDonalds. Two women came in and placed an order, for which they presented a $50 bill. The cashier had questions about the bill’s authenticity. Instead of just asking for the manager to come over, one of the women attacked the cashier, climbing over the counter. The second woman goes around the counter to attack the cashier. The cashier ran to the back of the store with the women following, at which point he picked up a metal rod, and put both women down…

At this point, the cashier gets my vote for employee of the year. The women should not have physically assaulted him, and were way out of bounds jumping over the counter to go after him when he tried to retreat. The cashier grabbed what looks like a long tire iron to defend himself.  The initial beat down by the cashier was well deserved. Where things – for the cashier – start to go wrong is when the second woman tries to get up. It’s unclear from the video whether she was trying to attack him again or get away. He hits her several times knocking her back to the floor.

With both women down on the floor, the guy doesn’t stop though, despite the effort of a fellow employee to get him to stop beating them – even though they are both down and pose no risk. He also apparently hits one of the woman on the head, a potentially lethal strike – and completely unnecessary.

So yeah – the guy deserves the felony charge the police charged him with. But both of the women also deserve felony assault charges.

Oh well… As James Brown said, “I may not know Karate… But I know K-razor!”… or in this case K-tire iron. Put this one under “American Genocide”…

How About Drug and Background Checks for Legislators?

Hot topic among the GOP Tea Bagger set right now is Drug Testing for Welfare recipients.

I think we should conduct Drug Testing and Criminal Background checks on anyone elected to office – with the result that if they fail, or have a criminal background they not be allowed to serve. Why exactly do we have a system in which felons can’t vote…But they can serve office and be party to sensitive national secrets? One of the first things they do when you get a Security Clearance at any level in this country is a Criminal Background Check. You got a Felony…You don’t get a clearance…Period.

Portsmouth Rep. Daniel P. Gordon has lengthy criminal record

On Monday, the freshman legislator appeared in District Court, Providence, and was ordered held without bail for failing to appear in court in Massachusetts in 2008 on charges of eluding the police and three other motor vehicle violations. He spent the weekend at the Adult Correctional Institutions after the Rhode Island State Police learned that there was a warrant for his arrest stemming from the stop by the Massachusetts State Police on Route 195 in Fall River.

By the end of the day, he had been transferred to Massachusetts authorities, who released him on $1,000 bail, according to the Associated Press.

Court records from Fall River and Taunton, Mass., show that Gordon, 42, a Republican representing Portsmouth, Tiverton and Little Compton, has a serious arrest record. He has spent more than five months locked up in the Bristol County House of Correction in North Dartmouth, Mass., on charges of attempted murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and for a assaulting and threatening to kill his girlfriend.

Man Claims Responsibility for 1994 Tupac Shooting

A man named Dexter Isaac has claimed responsibility for shooting Tupac Shakur in Manhattan’s Quad Studios in November 1994, setting off a chain reaction of violent reprisals that resulted in the eventual murder of both Shakur and the Notorious B.I.G., who was originally blamed for the assault.

Isaac, who is currently serving a life prison sentence plus 30 years for murder and robbery, released a statement to AllHipHop.com, explaining that he was paid $2,500 for the shooting by James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond, a music industry figure who is now the CEO of Czar Entertainment and the manager of the Game.

In the statement, Isaac apologized to Tupac and Biggie’s families and said that he kept quiet until now because the statute of limitations for an assault charge has expired and he cannot be charged for the attack. Isaac also expressed regret for getting involved with Rosemond, whom he refers to as a “sucker.” Rosemond is currently a fugitive wanted by the DEA and federal marshals for his involvement with a cocaine trafficking operation.

Thin Mint melee lands Naples woman in jail

A Naples woman was arrested Sunday after deputies say she attacked her roommate over a box of Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies.

Hersha Howard, 31, of 7050 Ambrosia Lane, Apt. #3606, was charged with Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon.

Howard’s roommate, Jasmin Wanke, told deputies she was asleep when Howard burst into her bedroom and accused her of eating the cookies.

Wanke said she gave them to Howard’s kids because they were awake and hungry at 1 a.m., according to a Collier County Sheriff’s Office report.

The women began to argue, then Howard reportedly jumped on top of Wanke and struck her in the face.

The two continued to fight until Wanke’s husband separated them.

When Wanke walked out of the bedroom, Howard grabbed a pair of scissors and began chasing and threatening Wanke, the report said.

As women ran down the stairs, Howard reportedly dropped the scissors, picked up a board and struck Wanke.

Wanke then ran to the kitchen, where Howard confronted and attacked her again, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

During the fight, Howard bit Wanke in the breast and continued to hit her until the two were separated again, the report said.

The women ran out of the house, then Howard reportedly picked up a sign and struck Wanke with it several times.

Wanke’s husband tackled Howard before deputies arrived and arrested her.

She was taken to the Naples Jail Center for booking.

Men allege sexual coercion by prominent Atlanta pastor

Two Georgia men have filed a lawsuit claiming that prominent Atlanta, Georgia, pastor Eddie Long coerced them into sex.

The suits, filed Tuesday in DeKalb County, Georgia, allege that Long used his position as a spiritual authority and bishop to coerce young male members and employees of his New Birth Missionary Baptist Church into sex.

“Defendant Long has a pattern and practice of singling out a select group of young male church members and using his authority as Bishop over them to ultimately bring them to a point of engaging in a sexual relationship,” the suits allege.

Long is considered one of the nation’s top black preachers. His church has more 25,000 members, according to the suit, and was the site of Coretta Scott King’s 2006 funeral, attended by then-President George W. Bush and three previous presidents. King was the widow of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

The pastor took one plaintiff, Anthony Flagg, 21, on overnight trips to a half-dozen American cities in recent years, Flagg’s suit alleges.

“Long shared a bedroom and engaged in intimate sexual contact with plaintiff Flagg including kissing, massaging, masturbating of plaintiff Flagg by defendant Long and oral sexual contact,” the suit says.

Long took the other plaintiff, Maurice Murray Robinson, 20, to Auckland, New Zealand, in October 2008 for his 18th birthday and engaged in oral sex with him, Robinson’s suit alleges.

“Following the New Zealand Trip, Defendant Long regularly engaged in sexual touching, and other sexual acts with Plaintiff Robinson,” Robinson’s suit alleges.

Long spokesman Art Franklin said Tuesday that “we categorically deny the allegations.”

“It is very unfortunate that someone has taken this course of action,” he said. “Our law firm will be able to respond once attorneys have had an opportunity to review the lawsuit.”

Long frequently denounces homosexual behavior. A 2007 article in the Southern Poverty Law Center’s magazine called him “one of the most virulently homophobic black leaders in the religiously based anti-gay movement.”

Congressman Pimp Slaps Conservative Scumbag

Couple of things go along with being a Congressman or Senator in Washington DC. The first is that the press is going to want to interview you, if you are front and center on any significant legislation or have “Bimbo problems”.

The second, as demonstrated by the Anthrax Attacks, and a gunman killing 2 Capitol Police in an attempt to shoot Congressmen – is that there are whack jobs out there who may try to harm you.

Despite these risks, Congressmen and Senators try and live normal lives – and unless there is some credible known threat, such as some of the whack job Tea Bagger driven threats against Pelosi and Reid, they don’t walk around with a protective detail or bodyguards.

Sans “Bimbo problems”, getting an interview with one of them isn’t very hard for any legitimate news outlet. Politicians by definition, want to be in the public eye. However – in view of the second thing above, “Ambush journalism” is probably not a good idea. Not the least because the Capitol Police may see you lame attempt at imitating the Acorn Pimp as an attack on a Representative…

And justifiably shoot your ass.

Israeli soldiers kill at least 10 protesters on boat carrying supplies to Gaza

Israeli naval ships seized control of a protest flotilla carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip on Monday, killing at least 10 people and sparking widespread international condemnation.

Israeli television, citing foreign media reports, said the death toll could be as high as 16.

“The images are certainly not pleasant. I can only voice regret at all the fatalities,” Trade and Industry Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer told Israel’s Army Radio.

The raid set off a storm of international protest and drew condemnations from leaders of Spain, Sweden, France, Germany, the U.N., the European Union and Arab League.

Charter School Teacher Attacks Child

In Texas, Charter school teachers are not required to be certified – they are not even required to have any education above High School. Indeed, regulation of Charter schools is so loose in Texas – the only surprise is incidents like this don’t happen daily.

Worse – Janiqua Johnson and other witnesses told KHOU that four or five school employees were present in the classroom. The students claimed they felt intimidated by some teachers after the video became public. The beating took place 2 weeks ago – and the school apparently did nothing until the video became public, despite – as can be seen on the video numerous witnesses.

13 Year Old Isaiah Reagins’ family says the boy suffered a black eye and other bruises.

Sheri Lynn Davis, who was fired on Monday night as a science teacher at Jamie’s House Charter School, a centre for children with disciplinary issues in Houston, Texas, was not required to be certified, the Houston Chronicle reported. Texas law requires charter schools to hire certified teachers only in areas of bilingual and special education.

After her firing, it was learned Davis had a warrant out for her arrest since March 2009, according to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. The D.A’s office said Davis was accused of slashing a woman’s car tires, all four of them, and she was wanted on a “criminal mischief” charge.

This one raises a lot of questions -

These are not street thugs, these are college educated kids – who supposedly will go on to join our society as productive members in white collar professions.

And they are not going to face criminal charges?

They can come back to the University and resume their scholarships?

Hitting people with 2 x 4′s and chairs? Breaking bones, and sending people to the hospital?

That isn’t hazing, it’s freaking criminal assault.

What the hell is going on with these kids judgment?

Speaking of societal influences, I watched a couple of the Mixed Martial Arts matches the other night. It’s apparently the fastest growing televised sport in the country. What few people seem to realize is most of the guys who are in that sport will be dead by the time they are 50, or suffer the sort of debilitating Parkinson’s disease like Muhammed Ali. The sort of head injuries suffered in that sport, due to the lack of protection are cumulative – and may not show up for 10 or 15 years. Roman Gladiators should have had it so good.

Now I’m not blaming MMA as the sole culprit, but in a lot of our media and entertainment there seems to be a devaluing of consequences. Nobody wants to show what happens to these guys when they can no longer fight, can’t remember their names, or have to be spoon fed because they shake too bad to feed themselves. There are no consequences in violent video games, where if somebody dies – you just start over…

Maybe we do need that universal military service – if for no other reason than to bring these young folks back to the reality of the fragility of life.

Beatings, Beat Downs, and Just Plain Murder

I’m sure this one is STORY ONE, not only on every single black conservative site, every white supremacist site, and good majority of the the bleeding hearts black folks sites…

So why go there?

Simple. More black babies will die in Chicago due to inadequate, unavailable, or poor neo-natal and post natal care in the first year of their lives than are killed by these street thugs.

So where’s the outrage?

The yearly murder rate for young black males was 152 for every 100,000 people (between the ages of 14 and 29) between 1987 and 1989. Hispanic males were slain at the rate of 102 per 100,000, six times the 17 per 100,000 rate of whites that age.

According to a 2006 report from the Chicago Department of Public Health, the infant mortality rate (from birth to 1 year old) in Chicago stood well above the national rate at 9.6 deaths per 1,000. That converts to a figure of 960 per 100,000. When you add in the number of babies who die before they are born – that number doubles.

The next argument you are going to hear from black conservative race pimps is that we are in a “crime wave”. That’s a crock as well.

Black Murder Rates 1976 to 2007

According to U.S. Census data, the number of blacks aged 15 to 19 rose by about 15 percent between 2000 and 2007.

So even if any individual black teen’s propensity for crime was unchanged over this time period, the aggregate amount of black-teen crime would have risen by 15 percent. In other words…  just based on changes in population, the number of perpetrators would have been expected to rise from a little over 800 to nearly 1,000. Knowing that, the actual rise to roughly 1,150 doesn’t seem that noteworthy.

The Mortality rate for teens – 15-19 in Wyoming, 85 per 100,000 due to automabile accidents, the majority of which are fouled by DUI is the same as the black murder rate in Chicago for the same age group.

The crack epidemic, fueled by the availability of cheap crack cocaine was a crime epidemic – not what is going on today.
