As a registered independent, I may have to start a local chapter of that party.
That’s the bottom line. Landlords are either going to have to take less rent, or sell their real estate, possibly at a loss, and and exit the business.
I think this is a NYC Rent Control issue.
A few months ago a business associate offered me a rental deal on a house…for less than 1/3 what he was paying in mortgage.
