For a man that has come from the Chicago power base which:
* has its largest city that only manages to graduate 55.1% of its Black students DESPITE being 100% controlled by the Democrats
* is constantly near the top of Black homicides despite having 1 Republican and 49 Democrats upon its board of Aldermen
I’d say that Mr Burris has some nerve to call Republicans “obstructionists”.
So many dreams of Black people have been OBSTRUCTED by the Democratic Machine that dominates Chicago and so many other cities.
Senator Roland Burris is racing to outdo himself before the year is up. Chicago’s new poet laureate isn’t done yet.
