Y’all know it’s hard out there for a pimp, when the bank/investment company/company/country you’ve trashed cuts your bonus from $50 million to $10 million like some common wage slave under pay for performance!

It’s even worse for old Republican white men! I mean, just a few weeks ago Neut Gingrich expressed his fear at being before Judge Sotomayor, quickly followed by Republican leader Limbaugh, who even compared her nomination akin to nominating fellow Republican David Duke! The plea for “disadvantaged wealthy white men” was quickly added to the Republican Party Platform, by HNIC Michael Steele, never one to shy away from protecting the rights of rich conservative white men — with an on air plea - “God save the white male!”

Now Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld tells his own story of oppression under the cruel hand of Billy-Bob Crow in an emotion and tear filled segement, in an interview with Brad Graham at Time entitled – Donald Rumsfeld in Repose -

Rumsfeld has ascribed much of the negative perception of him and the Bush administration to distorted media coverage. “The intellectual dishonesty on the part of the press is serious,” he asserted. He groused about “a strong incentive to be negative and dramatic” that had infused much of the coverage. “It’s a formula that works. It gets Pulitzers; it gets promotions; it gets name identification on the front page above the fold.”

Part of the formula, Rumsfeld added, involved pillorying him along with Bush and Cheney but sparing Powell and Rice. As an example, he noted accusations that Bush and Cheney had lied about Saddam Hussein’s possession of weapons of mass destruction in making the case for the invasion of Iraq. “They never say Colin Powell lied,” Rumsfeld asserted. “They don’t say Condi lied.”

Oh My! Talk about throwing Condi and Powell under the bus!
